About Tykk Raleon

Tykk was born to a nameless prostitute in a nameless tavern in between two nameless towns. Nameless, because to Tykk, they are things that are both a mystery and irrelevant. Tykk was raised in a temple of Mitra by a priest named Obarth who cared nothing for him. Tykk was to be a priest some day.
On a hot summer morning, the temple was attacked by a gang of bandits, demanding coin or blood. Poor and humble, Obarth and his monks had nothing to give and were slain. Only Tykk was spared, and taken as a slave.
Slavery for Tykk was brief, but enlightening for the young boy of 12. His masters were burned alive while locked by Tykk in a barn they were pillaging.
Alone, destitute and starving, Tykk came upon a wanderer in lavish black and red finery. Using the only skills he had, Tykk attempted to rob the wanderer. After a sound beating at the hands of the strange man, Tykk stared defiantly into the cold gaze of a middle aged man, with a fine goatee. A sword at his neck.

"Do you not fear death boy?"
"No."
"How very foolish. Do you wish for death?"
"No."
"Interesting. I have a proposition for you child. Join with me on my task, and you will be fed. Follow my lead, and you will become strong.
Follow the true path, and those who brought you to this point will suffer. What say you?"
"Yes."
"Excellent. Now get up boy, your lessons begin immediately."
"Master, what is your name?"
"A dangerous question. You will call me Amon."

Tykk and Amon travel for years. Over time, Tykk learns the way of Asmodeus. He becomes, body and soul, a true believer. Through his force of will and the guidance of Amon, he becomes strong. During a visit to a run down slum, preaching the way of Asmodeus, Amon and Tykk are attacked by inquisitors. Amon is killed in single combat by Balin of Karfeld. Tykk is knocked unconscious by inquisitors, and led away in irons. The trial is swift. Tykk is to burn for heresy at brandescar.
