I thought so. Thanks anyway.

Hi!

Do you know a cleric spell or channeling feat that doubles all the suffered AND inflicted damages in a certain area?

"Family: Your family means everything to you, and there is nothing you wouldn’t do for them. Maybe your ties extend to your entire clan or bloodline, or perhaps there is one specific member of your family you hold closer than any other. You gain access to the Family Ties drawback."

[Ultimate Campaign, pag 49]

Maybe, this description is valid even for the Kin Guardian trait's requirement.

Hi all!

How does it work the "Bodyguard" feat with the "Aid Allies" ability?

IMHO, when an adjacent ally is attacked, an order of the dragon cavalier can use an attack of opportunity to assist this ally: the ally receives a +3 bonus to his armor class, saving throw, or skill check (but not attack roll). Is this correct?

This works with another ADIACENT ally. But adiacent allies can't flank!

By default, an Initiative check is a Dexterity check. The feat "Noble Scion: Scion of War" says that you can use your Charisma modifier to adjust Initiative checks instead of your Dexterity modifier: that is, an Initiative check becomes a Charisma check.

In this case, every feat that improves Charisma checks (such as "Lost Legacy") improves Inititative checks too... is this correct?

Really the whole idea of a petitioner is that it's the soul of the person that has departed to the afterlife, petitioner to the gods. If the spirit is lingering, it's not really a petitioner but a ghost (or other undead).

The ghost template has no alignment restriction, so you can have a ghost ancestor without it being evil.

Mmmh... non-evil Ghost are so unusual ("even the ghost of a good or lawful creature can become hateful and cruel in its afterlife...").

Furthermore, my paladin companion will not be pleased. :D

Only templates say things like CR+1, because it modifies the base creature. Petitioner's are a base creature.

OK... but in Bestiary 2 I read: “Petitioner” is an acquired template that can be added to any creature whose soul migrates to one of the Outer Planes following its death (henceforth referred to as the base creature).

Accordingly, che Petitioner's CR should be "+1" instead of "1". Maybe that's an errata.

PS: Chaotic Neutral Petitioners (the "Shapeless") are incorporeal too: they seem really ghostly!

PPS: sorry for my very poor english.

An outsider formed from the departed soul of my Oracle's ancestor... it's OK!

The Petitioner's CR is "1" instead of "+1": what does it mean?

Hi!

I would like to create a Ghostly Cohort for my Ancestor Oracle, but I don't want an Evil Undead!

In Bestiary 2, I found the "Petitioner" (CR 1). May be a good idea?

No, guys... I'm not a lich. I'm just playing a MoMS Monk 3 with Dodge, Crane Style, Crane Wing, Crane Riposte and Improved Initiative: that's really amazing! :D

IMHO, "melee weapon attack" it's an errata. The correct version of Crane Wing should be:

"Once per round while using Crane Style, when you have at least one hand free and are either fighting defensively or using the total defense action, you can deflect one MELEE ATTACK that would normally hit you. You expend no action to deflect the attack, but you must be aware of it and not flat-footed. An attack so deflected deals no damage to you."

Via Crane Wing you can attempt Combat Maneuvers (Grapple, Trip...) deflecting AoO!

My sample feat progression:

1st - Improved Initiative (Human), Dodge, Snake Style (MoMS)
2nd - Snake Fang (MoMS)
3rd - Crane Style
5th - Crane Wing
6th - Tiger Style (MoMS)
7th - Combat Reflexes
9th - Power Attack
10th - Tiger Pounce (MoMS)
11th - Mobility
13th - Combat Patrol
14th - Crane Riposte (MoMS)
15th - Dragon Style
17th - Dragon Ferocity
18th - Dragon Roar (MoMS)
19th - Mantis Style

battle already gives you heavy armor... why bother with this arch type?

So, you can pick some Revelation other than "Skill at Arms". :)

IMHO, Oracle of Battle plus Armored Hulk, with Lame curse.
