While it takes time, Door Sight means not needing to actually open the door and take the risk. If we're taking time to scout, it might be the better option.

If the party doesn't mind waiting for less than five minutes, Turathal will use his Door Sight ability at each of the 3 doors. He'll start with the western door, then the eastern door, then the northern one at the end.

I believe only Turathal has any buffs that'll expire as a result of taking the time to scout. It takes a minute to activate the ability at each door. He'll spend a couple rounds actively observing the room (90' of darkvision).

Perception Western Door: 1d20 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 10 + 2 = 13
Perception Eastern Door: 1d20 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 10 + 2 = 19

Door Sight domain ability:

Door Sight (Su): You can lay your hand upon any surface and see what is on the other side, as if using clairvoyance. Using this power takes 1 minute, during which time you must be touching the surface you want to see through. You can keep looking for as long as 10 minutes with each use of this power, but must touch the surface and take no other action the entire time. The surface cannot be thicker than 6 inches plus 1 inch per cleric level you possess. You can use this power a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier.

All could benefit from a more mutually helpful alliance, rather than one that sunders families and wreaks havoc across the planes. After a minute or so, hopefully Ra will grant him vision of what lays beyond.

Turathal offers the golem his deepest bow.
"Greetings, your majesty. I am Turathal Amonra, and my compatriots and I are here to escort you back to Absolom, so that you may be appropriately prepared for your battle with the linnorm. We are to be your honor guard for the return trip." He offers another courtly bow.

"Oh, and if you would be so kind and gracious as to afford me the opportunity, I would introduce you to my own humble servant." Turathal holds out his hand and his tattoo pops out with a trill.

The little thrush bobs its head, then looks at Turathal. "Really?" You hear the little bird sigh, before it speaks to the golem in common, "Please to meet you, your majesty. I am Geddy of Thrush. We look forward to traveling with you." With a final chirrup of disdain, Geddy hops back onto Turathal's shoulder, then resumes his tattooed form on his master's neck.

Turathal appears quite unsettled in a realm that dims the light of his god Ra. On the other hand, he also appears a little less...dazzled, now that he's out of the direct sun.

A tall, thin, dark-skinned aasimar with strangely slitted eyes squints painfully in the sunlight. Cleric 3, Sorcerer 4, Mystic Theurge 1. Evocation magic (fire spells & toppling magic missiles). Prefers to use words first to try and avoid combat. If facing unruly, uncivilized types, he unleashes the power of Ra (variant channel negative energy: rulership for 1-round stun). And, of course, as an Orc-blooded sorcerer, he is "Dazzled" whenever he is in the presence of his god, i.e. in sunlight.

While I've really enjoyed the scenario, it would be nice to wrap this up.
If we're going for a formal vote, I'd prefer option 2 on Drokk's list, but am willing to roll with whatever makes sense.

I'm assuming there's some space Turathal can target that will not also hit Iso, though if not, so be it. I'm assuming Iso won't object to being blind and unconscious if necessary. And since it's probably going to be relevant, I've placed the grease spell. I believe that's the right spot, but move if necessary. Also, move Turathal as necessary for where he comes to a stop when he spots the daemon. Oh, and obviously Turathal wouldn't have bothered with swift action to pull out potion. He does have the CLW wand in his hand. And more importantly, he does have 5 mirror images...or at least had 5. And every last one of them looks like it's soiling its loincloths right about now. lol
