Tural nods, "I believe that the Celestial blood within me manages to create a constant sub-magic aura that produces a unique form of illumination that only my eyes can detect. Tural, consulting a flipped coin, reaches out into the Great Beyond, but not too far. Instead, he grabs onto the inner planes, and siphons off a miniscule amount of quintessence, fashioning it into an animate blob of elemental matter, and an earth elemental thuds onto the ground next to him.

Can't get the map to work. This happens in the surprise round so far as I can tell.

Tural doesn't do much of importance unless specifically asked. If being at the Gold Goblin isn't an option, he's spend most of his time staying in or trying to stay in the Calistran temple with the others.

Just a note- Tural is between faiths at the moment, disillusioned by gods. If you want to give it a go, he's quite intrigued by faiths and could be convinced to join one or another, and would be quite unlikely to decline any attempts at conversion that might be presented, though, to be fair, he is more partial to theological debates.

Tural stays silent as his more vocal friends steal most of the spotlight, instead quietly working in his lab and making more concoctions, learning more about the outer planes in his spare time, and potentially even being persuaded into learning more about Calistra from his more religious friends. Truth be told, he's not sure if he could even say for sure where he spent most of the time, be it at the Gold Goblin or in the Calistran temple, or even the scattered libraries he could find and gain access to across the city. Or perhaps none of them. It just didn't really matter to him.

Ugh. So, travel and settling back into things was only slightly more time-intensive than I thought. On the bright side, I did manage to find enough time to level up. On the downside, I seem to have missed the chance to get a gift. If it's not too late, I wouldn't mind a Cloak of Resistance, a wand of Mage Armor and a wand of Magic Missile. Boring, maybe, but considering how badly I built Tural in hindsight (first PF character and all) I didn't really think about it at the time. And since then, I've taken basically no treasure.

As he does, the arcanist mutters a spell and sends two bolts of force at the wererat, with as much energy as he can spare backing the attack up.

Ah! I definitely misread the situation there. I missed the fact the archer was on our side.

I suppose that’s what I get for posting while tired. I don’t suppose I could ‘cancel’ my action as though Tural didn’t act at all? I imagine it doesn’t make that much of a difference, but there really is no reason for Tural to do what he did other than me being really tired and not reading the gameplay posts close enough.

Tural winces as his eagle returns to the lower planes, but its fiendish glow hasn't even faded before a new, almost artificial-looking eagle takes its place.

Spending another point to bring a new, resolute eagle into the fight.

Tural runs forward, staying in the darkness. However, as he runs, a glowing rune appears at the end of an outstretched hand, mirrored by one materializing in front of the closest attacker. It shapes itself into a black and red fiery hawk, which unleashes a flurry of claws and beak at its target. However, it's more enthusiastic than accurate, and barely even scratches its target.

I can't figure out how to add an image to the map.

Tural quickly spins around, withdrawing a small pat of butter from his belt pouch, and smears it between his fingers, "Glissendo." he whispers, and the area aroundthe door becomes slipperier than ice.
Casting grease in the area centering the door, so half inside, half outside. Should catch hopefully one or two of them with a DC 15 reflex save to avoid falling prone.

Tural gives a (small) smile back, "I must agree. It is indeed aggravating. I suppose the most we can do is watch and wait, biding our time until something new comes up that we can act on."

Tural joins Meghan in the card room cleaning.
"How have you been lately, Meghan? We haven't talked much recently."

Tural continues his work wandering the streets. He appreciates the solitude, but still manages to convince enough people to visit the Goblin to make his time worthwhile.

While Tural is quite sad that his friend is leaving, he thanks her for all her assistance in his studies, "And please do come stop by whenever you can, I would love to see you again. Best of luck with the Cyphermages."

Tural enjoys Meghan's retelling of the events, interjecting towards the end, "I believe the proper term is a silence of ninjas, Meghan. " No real idea, but it sounds cool.

I figured I shouldn't always force everyone into a fight like I did last time. Plus, not everyone was within a 15ft cone of me.

I guess we weren't kidding about the whole 'talk our way past everything' high-CHA group.

"Most excellent. I am quite appreciative of your willingness to see reason. We'll be taking the cargo now, if you don't mind." Tural walks over to the crates, tries to pick one up, fails, and looks at the group, "Ahh... Could I get some assistance here?"

Tural fidgets with the coin in his pocket, but upon spotting the three others in the background, decides against it, instead hoping nonmagical words might win the day, "Look, my friend. This doesn't need to end badly. I would advise you to leave the cargo alone and simply let us do our job. Please don't make this any harder on yourselves than it has to."

Tural raises an eyebrow at Unbegusam's latest question, "Ah.... we did. He slammed the door in our face. Literally. You're welcome to try on your own, though."

Over the week, he spends extra time working- what else was there to do?- and wanders the streets, trying to convince passersby that the Gold Goblin is the place to spend their hard-earned coin. He's not very successful, though.

A man, clad in gold-trimmed red robes steps up, "Greetings. I am Tural. Pleasure to meet you." While soft-spoken, he has a confidence behind his words and an unwavering gaze as he studies the newcomer's faces.
