Trix quickly loads her crossbow and fires it off before she really has a chance to properly aim it! Her bolt shots well over the head of her target. "That was a warning shot! Come any closer and that next one goes into your eye!" She hopes her threat is convincing, allow it doesn't that way to her own ears...

Trix lets out a sigh of relief when the statues finally fall. She makes sure everyone is healed of their injuries then turns her attention massive artifact. "This reminds me of some fey runic circles I once studied... If we move this symbol here to this position here... and then rotate this symbol counter-clockwise... this way... YES!"

Seeing Atronia suffer a grievous wound, Trix rushes back and reaches between her companions to tap her with the healing wand!

Trix calls upon her strange powers and suddenly her companions find themselves empowered for battle! She then steps back from the front line...

Casting Bless. +1 to Attack for everyone!

Trix will wait behind while the others look at smashing the wards. "I cannot help with that, but once those have been handled perhaps I can try to my brain and solving the riddle!" She offers excitedly.

Trix's nimble feet keep her out of harms way as she dodges the falling rocks and slips into a more protected position. She finds Jyrrar and taps him with the wand supplied to them.

Trix draws out her wand of healing and moves into the melee to engage the undead...

Trix narrows her eyes at the undead blasphemies before her. "Huecuva! Faithless, I will send you to face your judgement! Her body is resistant to normal weapons, but silver and magic weapons will punch through it." Suddenly a burst of golden light bursts out of Trix and engulfs the two undead monstrosities.

Channel Positive Energy (Harm Undead): 1d6 ⇒ 2 Will DC 15 for half damage.

Trix draws her pre-loaded crossbow and fires a bolt at the malicious looking creature!

Trix nods. "True, but we cannot waste this opportunity to document what we have found. This is what we do; face danger to recover lost knowledge!" She happily removes her journal and inkpen, then begins to document to carving she can see.

Trix brightens up with a smile. "Did someone say positive energy?!" She bounces on her heels, seemingly ready to burst with excitement!

Trixis rushed up by the water, but luckily her quick feet keep her from being bashed more by the debris. "Anyone needing healing gather around me."

"What is Iovo? Is it part of a planet that was shattered? How did you come to be here?" She takes a deep breath and pauses her rapid-fire questioning. "Sorry, sometimes I get a little overly excited."

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20

Sensing the apparition's frustration, Trix continues her attempts of pacification. "Please be calm, we are not here to harm you. We want to help you!" She offers a large smile and her hair changes to a warm, welcoming orange color while her eyes sparkle with an amethyst hue. "Please, tell me how I can help you and I promise we will do everything we can."

Trix brightens when she spots the strange, ghostlike woman. She then frowns when the situation turns dangerous. "Now boys! Put down those weapons, can't you see she's frightened? It's alright sweetheart. What happened to you? How did you end up here?"

Same here... As of last night and this morning, I cannot access the website from home. My work Jetpack works though, so depending on whether I continue to experience this issues again tonight I may or may not be able to post after 3 PM CST.

Trix winces as she watches Volyana takes a solid hit! She quickly sends a wave of positive energy over the battlefield and draws her healing wand. "Stand fast, Volyana! I am coming."

"Dawnflower watches over us, my friends! You will not fail in this endeavor." She quickly casts a spell over her companions and they find themselves bolstered for combat. She then begins moving up to assist her companions in battle.

Casting Bless (+1 Morale bonus to Attack and saves vs. Fear) and then moving up to position on map.

Trix will definitely accept the spell offered previously. Also, that was an extremely epic opening scene!

Trixalana stares in wide-eyed awe at the spectacle before them and then suddenly before she could think anything further a massive battle sprung up! "My friends, stay close to me! I'll keep you on your feet."

A tall, vivacious female gnome with bright orange hair and large, expressive purple eyes skips into the room with a large grin that shows off her sparkling white teeth. "Hi! I'm Trixalana, but you can call me Trix for short! Looks like I'll be joining all of you on this exciting adventure!" She joins the others at the table, staring openly in excitement at the giant snakeman with the talking sword. "YOUR SWORD TALKS!" she practically squeals with excitement before jumping back up and running over to examine the blade up close. The next several words that pour from her mouth string together in an excited jumble. "OHMYGOSHTHATISAMAZINGWHATISYOURNAME?!"

Yeah, that's pretty terrible logic... oh well!

I got my chronicle! Thanks for running this, GM. The last two scenarios were quite interesting I must say.

I think I'll bring along my gnome life oracle for you guys, since my initial PC was going to be a healer also. While I would love to bring Abdi, I think having a full party plus the Elemental Eidolon would be excessive trying to avoid hitting some of the party with my Channel Negative Energy. He has Selective Channel, but a Cha of 18 so that leaves one party member and a companion that could potentially get hit.

Here's the big question for you guys. As your healer, would you prefer Trix to have Selective Channeling and Channel Positive Energy? Or to go with Life Link and hook that up to our primary tank?

I think with a group this large, Channel would would better overall and that way I can focus my spells upon buffing with Bless and Protection from Evil, but I can work either way.

Trixalana starts making her way towards the double doors in an attempt to prevent The Spider from fleeing if she chooses that route. Double movement.

Round 2

Seeing that her companion is still suffering from the magic effects, Trix rushes over and slaps Aquavious across the cheek. "Snap out of it!"

Round 3

She then quickly casts a spell upon Aquavious to protect her against evil. Protection From Evil.

Trix draws her crossbow and moves into the room, ready to fire at the woman!

I cannot wait until +1 BaB...

Trix listened quietly while Constantin played out the attack on the councilwoman. "I agree that seemed way too easy for what we have dealt with thus far. Perhaps we should follow this woman to make sure she is taken into custody."

Trix looks over the strange creatures with a canny eye. "Those things are quite ugly when they pull back their skin. I wonder how they do it? Do you think Rogar would be able to do that? I bet that would make him even more fearsome than he already is!"

Trix moves off to a clear line of sight and fires off a crossbow bolt at the monstrous beast.

Trix moves out into an open position and draws her crossbow...

Trix tries to think back if they may have missed anything at all... "I think that sounds about right for all of our evidence."

Trix shares the information she heard and prepares herself for another round of excitement, practically skipping with joy.

Trix rubs her eyes and yawns. "Agreed, this day has been a long one."

No need to apologize, GM, you are not the author. This reminds me a lot of the original Taken movie. Brutal stuff man, that kind of thing just makes me sick.

Trix is a follower of Sarenrae, so she would prefer to see them taken to one of her temples if there is one nearby.
