![]() I will be starting this game in October... intend to let my PCs choose those traits and will definately tell them the good and bad of each one. The secret stuff is that, secret. I will probably jazz them up a bit to encourage the PCs to take them since having local PCs will make things easier for me. Going to drop the Noble one though. ![]()
![]() Yes. I use the Eberron content. Don't play in Eberron but the adventures are adaptable. I like the style they present and I plopped warforged into my world (homebrew). I find Forgotten Realms adventures more annoying myself but can convert anything. Just need a decent story, I can work around the setting. ![]()
![]() Definately not too many adventures. I love to DM but I really do not enjoy writing adventures. Having good adventures to pick through and modify for my games was the only reason I subscribed to Dungeon. Now, the extras in the latest issue were like polishing off a good thing. Loved every bit of the last issue of Dungeon and look forward to many, many more. ![]()
![]() The following are my opinions only. Following my receipt of the new Dragon magazine I had one thought. “If this is what I can expect from the future of Dragon I will be canceling my subscription.” Interestingly enough, it is the opposite of the new Dungeon. I love the changes to Dungeon, but the changes to Dragon are terrible. I was extremely disappointed by the alternatives to detect evil; the Samurai vs. Knight article was of no interest or use and how many pages of advertisements do we need in the article? I think the last 10 pages were given over to WoTC books. All one needs to do is browse to their website and all this information is readily available. I won’t continue. The magazine was disappointing and I hope it was just a hiccup and not the template for future issues. |
