The witch is definitely a team player, as is the alchemist. One-in-a-million-odds poultrifications aside, Trazzle is built for party support in both cases.

You're misunderstanding how Evil Eye works.

Quote:
Effect: The target takes a –2 penalty on one of the following (witch’s choice): AC, ability checks, attack rolls, saving throws, or skill checks. This hex lasts for a number of rounds equal to 3 + the witch’s Intelligence modifier. A Will save reduces this to just 1 round.

If a creature fails the save against Evil Eye, it is affected for multiple rounds. If it succeeds at that same save, it is still affected by Evil Eye, but only for one round.

Whether or not the Maw makes the Evil Eye save, the result will be the same.

Trazzle and nocturne eye the bird for a moment, trading baffled glances. Both sputter for a moment before collapsing into uncontrollable laughter.

"You actually..." Nocturne attempts to force her surprise out between two fits of laughter.

"I actually..." Trazzle fails to reply, before the two of them are again overtaken by their laughter.

Don't forget to will save against evil eye. (At best it reduces this effect to one round, so it doesn't impact the polymorph.)

I'm going to add a little to my action.

Trazzle rockets forward, hovering some thirty feet away from the beast, and glares at the beast with a look that could melt through glass. Then, with a guttural snarl, he thrusts his magical rod out towards the Maw of Oblivion. "Be chicken now!"

Move action: Fly ahead.
Standard action: Evil Eye Hex, -4 to saves for 20 rounds, DC 30 will save reduces to one round.
Swift Action: Quickened Baleful Polymorph (with rod of Quicken Metamagic), DC 28. (The -4 above applies)

I will laugh oh so very hard if this works. Beware, mortals, the hen of oblivion! If not, then I still hit its saves pretty hard for the party's opening volley.

I don't even know what I was readying anymore, so I'll change what it was.

Watching as the creature approaches, Trazzle begins chanting some words in the goblin tongue.

Readying the Evil Eye Hex as soon as the creature attacks, targetting its saves. DC 30 Will save reduces the effect to 1 round. This oughta help Camiel's spell go through.

There's one thing I'll need to come to terms with, where Trazzle is involved:

I'll never be able to play him optimally. So many abilities... s-so manyyyyyyyy! I can't even keep track.

Also, I'm a little lost on something: I lost my legendary item's abilities, and I can't seem to find them again. Could you remind me of the creation rules for it so I can quickly remake it?

The old leather coat that had, until now, merely been resting on Trazzle's shoulders comes to life. Its sleeves raise in a mechanical movement, and searches through his Handy Haversack, producing a crude staff of wood, carved with some goblin inscriptions, which it hands to its wearer.

Zoom! Whoosh! Pew pew pew!

Um. I appear to have misplaced my legendary item's abilities, some time down the line. Can I get a refresher on what its creations rules were, so I could draw it up again?

Trazzle draws a small satchel from his belt, ready to consume its powdery contents should their guest prove threatening.

As the party forges ahead, Trazzle absentmindedly proceeds to mix up, ingest, gargle, and at one point, snort, a variety of bizarre substances. Most of them have little in the way of visual effects, save one hardening his skin, but his magical aura fluctuates wildly with new effects.

"I wonder what kind of welcome he's got waiting for us." Trazzle ponders outloud, sounding more curious than concerned.

When the party appears, Trazzle's attention is immediately caught with the obelisk's runes.

"Swift death, huh?" He grins. "I'll take that as a challenge."

His reaction, however, is different as Aeliastraza manifests. "Dragon! Everyone take cover!" He shouts, brandishing a pair of satchels, until the dragon pledges allegiance. "Wait... did you... did he... Allying with dragons? You humans are crazy."

"Let's do this! Just like old times, a dragon hunt! I've missed that!" Trazzle cheers. "Let me just get one thing ready first..."

Trazzle fumbles through his coat, looking for something. He soon finds it: It is a glass flask, full of a strange blue liquid. "Hm... seems like it set." He gives the bottle a vigorous shake, and its contents begin to bubble threateningly, to the point where the flask threatens to vibrate right out of Trazzle's hands.

Trazzle pulls the cork, and a powerful scent of citrus and, oddly enough, shoeshine, fills the room. "It's been a while since I've used this, let's see if I still have the recipe right." Before anyone can say anything, Trazzle chugs the bottle.

Nothing happens for an instant, and just as the suspense dies down, Trazzle undergoes a rapid mutation, growing about six inches in size, and even ganglier. Additionally, his skin toughens up, like leather. "Alright, that should do it."

Using Trazzle's Mutagen: +6 dex, +4 con, +4 natural armor, -2 wis, -2 charisma. Lasts 17 hours.

"Oh! One more thing before we head out. I have more special food than I know what to do with. If you'd like some, I have a lot to share."

Someone familliar with goblin tradition would here recognize that Trazzle is speaking of alchemy, which some goblins perceive as an extension of the culinary arts, rather than a branch of magic.

Between Witch and Alchemist, I have a lot more tricks than I have actions. I can share some buffs with those who need them. I have several level 2 and 3 slots to share, as well as a small number of level 5 slots. Would anyone like anything? It would help me with my action economy, and you with a buff of your choice.

Trazzle touches the crystal with no hesitation, grinning as its powers flow through him. When the medallion forms, he takes in in his small hand, and observes it curiously. "Oo! Shiny!"

"I've fought an undead dragon before, though it was a much smaller one... and just bones, at that. I know a trick or two that should do great against Pharaoh and his minions."

"The Desert of Woe's a dangerous place. It drains life and joy from all those who go into it. I can craft elixirs that would protect someone from it for almost a whole day, but I can only make enough for Nocturne, myself, and one more person. We could only stay in for ten-seven hours before they wore off, too. Does anyone else know how to protect themselves from bad worlds?"

Am I correct in assuming that Planar Adaptation would protect one from the effects of the Desert?

Trazzle appears to progressively stop paying attention to Verana's speech, until the words "ancient dragon thousands of years old" are spoken, at which point his ears visibly twitch and he begins listening with the utmost devotion.

"Ooooo. So it's basically like raiding a dragon's lair... except the lair is a plane and the dragon is undead. I like it." Trazzle grins widely. "I'll do it! Sounds like a blast! Who's with me?"

Should I roll any knowledges about the Sands of Woe or whatnot? Any information to be gained?

"You have no idea," Trazzle grins at Charis' comment, before being struck by a fit of giggles as Petrikov pelts the divine spirit with a snowball.

That one has guts! Even I wouldn't be crazy enough to try that.

The air on Trazzle's face as the spirit leads the assembled through the golden halls is not unlike that of a child walking through a candymaker's shoppe... or that an orc warrior picking out a new weapon amongst the loot of a pillaged armory. He darts to and fro, zipping at astonishing speeds, with only his unbelievable pace allowing him to keep up.

When the party reaches the halls of verana's dominion, Trazzle eyes the crystal with much marvel, his already-large eyes seeming to grow even larger. He takes a seat a few moments after the others, adopting a comfortable and in no way elegant slouch. Knowing himself a much better listener than speaker, he remains silent.

My apologies, but I will be tentatively stepping down from this game. It doesn't seem that we'll be picking up soon, and I'm going to be joining a game because activity levels on my games are low, but I'm concerned that I might get overwhelmed if other games pick back up.

"Well... I have to admit it is funny seeing her get angry every time I get away." Trazzle cackles. "So..." He ponders aloud, still taking in the various sights.

"Do you know what the archons have called us all here about? I'm always up for an adventure, but some information would be great."

As he speaks, Trazzle casually draws an empty vial and begins mixing up some components. As he does, his coat, which had been up to now draped over his shoulders like some makeshift cloak, comes to life; its sleeves rummaging through his bags and handing him flasks and satchels at his request.

Trazzle punctuates his sentence by gulping down the resulting mixture. At once, he seems to stand straighter and looser, as though he'd been relieved of some matter of soreness.

"Greedy ones, not shiny ones." Trazzle declares. "Dragons steal stuff and keep it in their cave; that means there's less stuff for everyone else. My Wyrmtaunters steal the things back and spend them all around, so things return to world. I got separated from my Wyrmtaunters, but I still do it when I can. Some of those dragons were big, others were small, but I only hunt the greedy ones... I did make a really big, really greedy one angry, though," he adds nervously.
