So this feels at least related, but to the first half of omnikinesis. Does spending the burn to use a different blast wild talent allow you to use a composite blast with that?

Say I have aether, lightning, and water as my base and two expanded elements. Could I use a fire blast and combo that with my already known water blast to make a composite steam blast? Or would I need to trade out for 24 hours to accomplished that?

Hey all,

I've got a Cavalier/Hunter/Mammoth Rider, and I'm wondering how I can incorporate having a mount'a armor use something like the radiant armor ability. Would I need to use a trick to teach it to do it, or can I have my rider trigger the ability for it?

Thanks for your help,

Well, this is real old, but I'm bored at work, so...

Prestidigitation is very low powered magic, so while you might be able to hold a rough form of yourself while concentrating on it, I would say it loses form immediately when you stop.

Arcane Mark is similarly limited in scope, and were I your DM, the short answer would be no, but the Instant Portrait spell would be fine.

As I interpret it, you are correct in that all likenesses to be sensed or possessed would need to be within the 50'/lvl range.

While I doubt that any of this is timely enough to help... here it is anyway. meh

Happy Gaming!

I realize this question is several years old now, but I've been trying to figure out how chokehold might work with whip grapples as well.

I would say grapple with the whip works based on your normal grapple options, so you would use STR unless you also have agile maneuvers.

As for the Chokehold feat with Greater Whip Mastery, I would personally rule that they would have to be adjacent for you to use chokehold because there is no "Pin" option for GWM, but saying you can't wrap a whip around someone's neck seems illogical. In theory I could see combining the chokehold and "tie up" option (with the -10 total to the check) since at this point you're looking at 5 feats and a +8 BAB. My two cents.

If there are any official rulings on this, I would appreciate the link. Thanks!

"On a full attack I could Aid another to AC on multiple players and bump everyones AC for an entire round."

Unfortunately, using Aid Another is a standard action, not an attack action. With the Team Up feat you can do so as a move action, so you could boost a couple of friends' either attack or defense that way.

Using this with the bodyguard feat means adding your aid bonus once per opponent per teammate, so you are more likely to have enough AoO to help everyone.

If you have a way of making standard aid another into an attack action, I would be glad to know of it, though!

Personally I don't think you would qualify as your own ally for this purpose. You are already receiving the dodge bonus(es) from your action.

I see this as you interjecting yourself between the attack and the ally, using yourself (or your armor, weapon, shield, etc.) as their "natural armor" bonus. The more defense oriented your character is with feats, the better the bonus.
