Anywho, he is an amazing author.

Here!

Awesome, can't wait!

Nveer heard of that book, is it as good as the others?

Thanks for the CD idea guys, should be fun

I love this guy. He has this way with words, his books sounds so casual and humorous. I like, The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid (hence the name), Sunburned Country, and especially A Walk in the Woods.

You're a good man, Paul. I'm sure you're unpopular among the students though ;)

Home of the much-loved comedian Dane Cook (He went to my highschool!)

Paul, it sounds like you work with kids who get suspended? From what I see from the other kids in my school, that must be torturous!

I am enlightened! Thank you!!!

If this Thread is considered an example of the sanity in the mystical land of the Paizo boards, then I'm going to... *runs out of things to say because they all sound like I am trying to be clever or corny or stupid*

Go Phelps! That was an intense race, even though it was obvious they would win after Phelps gave his team a huge lead.

14 hours I think.

That's impossible. Highest time difference you can have is 12 hours.

MICHEAL PHELPS IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DID YOU SEE THE FINISH FOR HIS 7TH GOLD MEDAL!?!?!?!??!? THAT WAS INSANE!!!!! OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD... I FEEL CRAZY!!!!!!!

What the hell is up with the olympic baseball rule:

In the 11th inning, if it is still tied, then teams start the side with players on base!

My kids are getting a big kick out of watching track and rowing. They're just starting to understand the concept of racing and like getting excited about crossing the finish line.

Awesome. Track is a great sport.

Let's go Phelps! Represent USA

This is incorrect sir. It saddens me to see vicious rumors such as this being spread about the Chinese people. Can you please tell me who told you this?

It's all over the news. If you flip on any American Sports channel, if they talk about the Olympics, this topic usually arises.

I heard that the Chinese are trying to prove that they are superior to the US by winning more gold medals, so they are getting really strong athletes in obscure sports that the US doesn't care about, to pick up thier gold count.

I find that pretty funny.

True, but America is obsessed with them.

Superbowl halftime, plus many others are among many Stones shows

Cool. During the ceremony, they just finished the glowing, alien men. Pretty cool. They were talking about how each performer is unique. That's 15000 people!

If this was done in America, it would be Rolling Stones...thats it

whats a dressage riding contest?!?!?

The technology is AMAZING!

I find it funny that the commentators are talking about China prmoting Harmony, and not mentioning it comes from the barrel of a gun over there.

What I find funny is they speak like they know what they're talking about. As if they know everything about China... ugg... SHUT UP!

I have shallow breath already...

*Shaking as he attempts to post*

The moving blocks are pretty cool

Well, I guess I missed it live, but it is still just as good now.

Am I?

Those drummers were intense!

GO FRANCE!!

Opening ceremony just finished.

man this is awesome!

Sounds good. Do you think an arts and crafts store would have the paint I am looking for? The closest department store is an hour drive, but there is a crafts store right down the street.

They only have black, grey and white for the lacquer spray paint. I need a wider selection.

I need a website that provides a wide variety of colors for lacquer spray paints. I have a black guitar that I am getting tired of. Anyone have a wide selection, cheap site?

Everyone provides one stanza to the poem. Eventually, when i have at least one hundred posts, I will put them all together, and post THE EPIC GOBLIN POEM!!!!!

I will begin.

By the way, rhyme scheme will be

A
B
A
B

One stanza per account please.

The goblins are much fun,
Running, giggling madly,
Always think they've won,
While getting beat quite badly.

Could I join, as a happy-go-lucky halfling rogue, who has just come to Korvosa from the disant Lethori halfling tribes of the Deepwoods, many miles away. Always looking for some fun, this jubilant character enjoys cutting drunkard's belts, cutting noble's purses, cutting away at the leashes of animals in the market... Basically anything that involves a dagger and the smell of adventure is perfect for this little terror.

I had a group going for a while . . . but 2/3 members of the group are flakes and rarely show up to a game, so I need new members. Online gaming isn't really a problem for me, it is just finding a sit-down group.

I know how you feel. That's why I jumped at this group, but I thought it would be PbP... sorry

I think it would be fine if SOME of PC's close friends died along the way.

It would add much more to the adventure if the Captain's brother dies along the way, and now he must avenge him! Of course, only you know your players. If that captain is a sensitive guy, you don't want to make him break down in the middle of the session when his beloved brother is gone.

Anyway, kill in moderation is my suggestion :)

Nowhere near that

I'm ready when you are.

You're a teacher Molech?

I wonder if any of my teachers play DnD?
Or can catch cheaters as well as you? :(

Only time I had a kid cry was when he joined my campaign later than the others and didn't reach level 4 at the same time as everyone else... It was pretty pathetic... Everyone was stunned, and the game stopped for about 10 minutes while he pulled himself together.

I agree with Quentyn about all the extra paperwork it would take, but it sounds like a great idea. I might just simplify this to bonuses for achieving certain amounts of skill points (like Quentyn suggests)

I use taunting as intimidate vs will save. If the taunter wins than he provokes an attack of oppurtunity.
