Thoril is a quiet man who prefers to be left alone. However, he has been cursed with a strong sense of morality that has left him unable to resist fighting for the greater good. Previously, he worked for a resistance group rebelling against a corrupt government, however he was stripped of all but a few of his belongings and hung out to dry when he refused to cross some lines in order to accomplish the organization's goals.
Now he has found himself in Fort Inevitable, hoping to find somewhere he can make a positive impact in the world.
Note: Although he wants to help people, he isn't about being paid to do his work. It's expensive to live, after all. However, he has been known to work for... less than 'retail' value, in some occasions.
