Theo brightens up at the prospect of Star joining the ranks of the Pathfinder Society.

He offers the following thoughts.

"While you might not be the best choice for some of the tasks that Pathfinders are usually tasked with, you are something that I believe the Society currently lacks - a subject matter expert on certain aspects of the ancient Jistkin empire. I'm sure that your first-hand knowledge of those times gone past would be of great value in certain academic circles. Sharing tales of the past while you learn about the present."

Question for our GM.

Do we have a feel for where we're at, so far as the mission goes?

Trying to decide if Theo will be available for a PbD that starts somewhere around Sept 10th or so. Basically, about 3 weeks out.

Reflex vs the Shadow cannon: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (2) + 13 = 15

Theo's attention was on the rail of the ship, but not on the cannon, so he catches the full force of the shadowy round.

Shaking off the effects, he crouches briefly, then springs into the air, barely clearing the railing as he drops onto the ship's deck.
He crouches again, trying to find a hidden spot before pausing to patch his own wounds.

Stealth: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 16

Assured Healing nets a result of 19, so he heals 16 hp, nullifying the effects of the cannon shot.

As Theo's gaze sweeps across the tableau, his vision falls on the ship floating about the fray.

"I'm headed to deal with the cannons." he tells Angvim.
"Follow me if you want to."

He drinks one & offers the other to Angvim.

As Theo dives aside, hoping to avoid the worst of the cannon shot, he points at the red-clad bugbear yelling "Her - focus on her if you can!"

During one of the breaks on the way back, Theo will affix the grasshopper to his armor.

When it comes to aiding the camp, Theo thinks his best option will be to help excavate Star.

After he makes sure that Brinna's bleeding wound is properly bound, of course.

"Something to tide you over, friend."

"Because if that's the case, you should've joined the Pathfinders. And I know how to expedite a Field Commission. I've got the paperwork in my bag.."

So, a Crit at L2 becomes 5sp/day.
Thus, 40sp for his 8 days.

After realizing that he doesn't need to add more arrows to the melee, Theo moves to Angvim with his healer's kit at the ready.

While not specifically trained in either golem lore or engineering lore, Theo's Keen Recollection of many, varied, & sundry factoids allows him to attempt to RK as though he had (albeit at a slightly reduced value).

And he comes up just as clueless as Murph.

I rarely see Robust Recovery in play, but it's a feat that Theo has in addition to Ward Medic.

Then Theo turns his attention to Green but with no time for a new plan, the arrow flies ...

Leaping clear of the blue-tinged destrier's path, Theo nearly stumbles into getting broad-sided by the green one.

He flashes thru how a shot vs the Black rocked elemental threatening Murph would work.

he thinks, moving instead to slash his claws against the green-streaked destrier, then moving back away from its reach.

Generally, when I have a PC make an RK check, I'll leave it up to the GM's discretion on the info provided.

Watching the elemental glide thru the sands as it moves to engage intruders (the PCs), Theo ponders the best angle to deliver an arrow for the best effect.
