Hey there everyone! I've been running Kingmaker for a couple months now as a West Marches style campaign. Pretty good so far! Been using plenty of the ideas on the forums, and it's working pretty smoothly. What's not so smooth, however, is wealth by level. I initially started by tripling the wealth found in various lairs/areas (like the Stag Lord's Fort, the mite's lair, Tartuk's room), but my players began to feel as if it was unrealistic for these various threats to have just so much wealth lying around. As such, having asked for a good way to distribute the treasure, they suggested expanding some of the locations, perhaps even making them into dungeons.

Because of this, I ask you, Kingmaker forums. I'm not the best at cartography or stuffing enemies into rooms lined with traps, so I'm looking for some good dungeon crawls to insert into the campaign. At first I was considering just outright plopping Rappan Athuk and its surroundings into a hex, but I'm not so sure my players would want to challenge a dungeon that deep (or have me go through a 600+ page tome) for some loot. I might add onto the lairs already dotted around, giving them extra levels below, such as the Lonely Warrior's Barrow or the Owlbear Lair. Anyone got any suggestions?

Hey there everyone! So I played my first Society game the other day, and I had a ton of fun! However, I'm having trouble finding new games. I've looked on Warhorn, which is what I used to sign up for my last game, and in-person games don't really work for the whole pandemic situation. As such, what are some other alternatives to Warhorn to help find online Society games?

So I was looking through Iomedae's domains and such today, and I noticed something pretty curious. One of her subdomains was Hubris, a subdomain of the Glory domain. I took a look at it, and I just have to wonder. What exactly about this subdomain fits with Iomedae at all? The main subdomain made me do a double-take, cause it just seems so unfitting for her.

"At 6th level, you can petition your divine patron for far greater power than you deserve. Activating this ability is a swift action that you must use as you cast a spell that has a reduced (but not negated) effect on a successful save. The saving throw DC of the spell increases by 2, and you gain a +2 bonus on caster level checks to overcome spell resistance with the spell. Any creature that succeeds at the saving throw instead avoids the effect entirely. If half or more of the targets are unaffected, you become shaken for a number of rounds equal to the spell’s level. If all of the targets are unaffected, you instead lose the ability to cast divine spells, channel energy, and use domain powers for 1d4+1 rounds; you can end this loss as a full-round action by loudly apologizing to your patron deity as a full-round action that provokes attacks of opportunity. You can use this ability once per day at 6th level, and one additional time per day for every 4 levels beyond 6th."

Asking for far greater power than you deserve? I fail to see how this is Lawful Good in the slightest. Hopefully there's an explanation out there somewhere, because I'm utterly confused.

Seriously, nordic myth is one of the hallmarks of all fantasy. Not only that but if it was made around the time Skyrim came out Paizo could have definitely cashed in on the hype from back then. Also there's plenty of lore for LOTLK that can be used for adventures, such as the abundance of fey, Viking politics, and of course eventually ending up with the party becoming kings themselves.

Hey everyone, I've had the idea for a Roman legionnaire type character, and I want some help on making a build for him. Right now I'm considering going three levels into Phalanx Soldier Fighter and then putting the rest in weapon and shield Skirmisher Ranger. I'd fight as him by taking quick draw and starting at range throwing a pilum or two, then going in with his spear or gladius depending on the range. Any feat recommendations for this build? Any other ideas for a character like this?
