The professor will frost bomb again To Hit (vs Touch AC): 1d20 + 12 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (15) + 12 + 1 - 4 = 24 for cold: 4d6 + 10 ⇒ (2, 6, 5, 2) + 10 = 25 and a DC24 Fort save or be staggered To Hit (vs Touch AC): 1d20 + 12 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (1) + 12 + 1 - 4 = 10 miss scatter: 1d8 ⇒ 3 splashes the enemy (and no allies) To Hit (vs Touch AC): 1d20 + 7 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (19) + 7 + 1 - 4 = 23 for cold: 4d6 + 10 ⇒ (4, 6, 3, 2) + 10 = 25 and a DC24 Fort save or be staggered
The professor will bomb the last enemy To Hit (vs Touch AC): 1d20 + 12 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (3) + 12 + 1 - 4 = 12 for cold: 4d6 + 10 ⇒ (4, 1, 4, 1) + 10 = 20 and a DC24 Fort save or be staggered scatter: 1d8 ⇒ 1, so falls short reflex save or take 14 cold To Hit (vs Touch AC): 1d20 + 12 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (1) + 12 + 1 - 4 = 10 for cold: 4d6 + 10 ⇒ (6, 1, 2, 5) + 10 = 24 and a DC24 Fort save or be staggered I'll use my reroll... To Hit (vs Touch AC): 1d20 + 12 + 1 + 5 - 4 ⇒ (11) + 12 + 1 + 5 - 4 = 25 for cold: 4d6 + 10 ⇒ (2, 4, 5, 5) + 10 = 26 and a DC24 Fort save or be staggered
Seeing that the Eidelon is in trouble, the professor 5 foot steps north and then throw a frost bomb at the Etherroot (exluding ally's squares) To Hit (vs Touch AC): 1d20 + 12 + 1 - 6 ⇒ (20) + 12 + 1 - 6 = 27 for cold: 4d6 + 10 ⇒ (1, 6, 1, 6) + 10 = 24 and a DC24 Fort save or be staggered
Second bomb will go to blue, splashing red (exluding ally's squares) To Hit (vs Touch AC): 1d20 + 12 + 1 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (20) + 12 + 1 + 1 - 4 = 30 for cold: 4d6 + 11 ⇒ (5, 3, 4, 3) + 11 = 26 and a DC24 Fort save or be staggered
(reflex save DC24 for half of 14 points for red (so either 3 or 7 as it is incorporeal))
Tarragon The Golden wrote: Depends on initiative order I guess. If the order was as posted then Tarragon does not get an extra attack this round as he would not jhave known to delay. In a F2F game people would talk more and just say "I'm going to cast haste in a combat situation, so delay". As the GM said on discord, he's fine with Tarragon and the Professor having the extra attack. With the different timezones of the players it's almost impossible to coordinate tactics within a reasonable time without some leniency from the GM. :-)
Will Save vs DC18: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19 The Professor will 5 foot step away and throw a frostbomb at blue, splashing over yellow and red To Hit: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (18) + 13 = 31 for Cold: 4d6 + 11 ⇒ (3, 5, 3, 1) + 11 = 23 and a DC24 fort save or be staggered. Slash will deal 14 cold to the other two. (all halved due to incorporeal though... :-() Then a second bomb To Hit: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15 That will probably miss and scatter scatter: 1d8 ⇒ 1, so on top of yellow and deal another 14 cold.

GM Nowruz wrote: The Priestess explains that not long ago, their home was falling apart, with the rivers drying up and tears appearing in reality. One day, this decay accelerated out of control. Monsters surged forth, and it seemed that all would be lost. Then a great voice echoed through the land, the voice of the God - Aram Zey. The voice guided it's faithful, a group known as Pathfinders, to beat back the monsters and destroy an army of blighted phoenixes. "I was one of the Pathfinders that fought those blighted Phoenixes. One of them fell victim to my cold bombs." the professor proclaims. "But there is something strange afoot. If you are seeing evil spirits there might actually be evil spirits trying to corrupt us all. I think it would be best if we all undergo some basic divinations." The professor will use his discerning wayfinder to detect magic. First on the party and the surroundings then (with their permission) on the woman and the man.

@Lyselsa I don't know rogues that well, but I've got some remarks/questions: Freedom of movement will let you use slashing weapons as normal underwater, so the professor will have told you to use the silver kukri as your primary and your normal kukri as your secondary (as this will work better with your finesse training). Haste will only give you 1 extra attack total. I guess d8s are due to Knife Master archetype?

Roll initiative. Engage the enemy in the surprise round (the men take on yellow, the women take on blue). If you want to freebooter's bane instead of move and move to engage next round, that's your call (if you roll high on initiative the result is the same anyway). |
