"Damn, that short-stuff has nine lives it seems. Thanks for the save. You look beat up as Hell - take this. I'm still feeling sluggish from whatever she did to me before you got here." Drawing and offering a Cure Mod potion to Eramay if she wants it; I'm staggered for another 6 rounds. If I did not end up attacking 'Joliryn', would I still be invisible?

Shohiraj stands stunned for a moment at the horrific screaming and sights coming from the vats beofre her eyes quickly follow the path of the containers to the sleepers bound to their beds. The rogue hurries forwards, trying to make sense of the contraptions before them. "Gods! R, what are these things? What are they doing to them?" Shohiraj will, for the moment at least, be trying to figure out a way to cut off whatever's drawing power or something from the sleepers. Could that be through a Knowledge check, or a Disable check? ![]()

![]() Well, that was a solid round. Go team! As the last guard drops, Shohiraj begins quickly and methodically patting down the fallen figures and stripping them of useful tools. Weighing a curative potion in her hand, the rogue looks at Eramay. "You need this? Nice slicing, but looks like you got a prick yourself." The Taldan woman also lifts and feels the weight of (presumably Joliryn's) kukri in her hand. "Good balance, quick flicks. Anyone mind I grab this for a backup?" Also wouldn't say no to the better cloak or the fireball ring, but 2/3 of my saves are good-to-solid and I've got a passable ranged attack so if one of you needs it more feel free to speak up. The gear sorted, Shohiraj tries to make sense of the papers and logs scattered about. "So, this place keeps getting more and more pleasant. 'Slumbersun' - eclipse scheme maybe? 'D be right up Nidal's alley. Five years tho...the Consortium's leak's a bit bigger than they realize. R, Faith, Thestil: you recognize any of these creatures?" She nods towards the preserved specimens in the room at this last question. ![]()

Startled even more by his absence as she looks at where he should be, she turns back to the mirror, gropes backwards for a bit, then snarls. "Magic mirrors. %$^$% magic mirrors. If it's a scrier, we may be made." If I am understanding correctly: every time I look at the mirror do I see the same figure behind me? Is he doing anything or simply standing there? Shohiraj backs slowly up to the edge of the wall then wrests her gaze away from the mirror just long enough to peek down the hallway and make sure no one is down the Eastern hall before she darts across and gives in a more cautious look from the other side, where she can keep one eye on the mirror.
