Moragul doesn't have anything nice to say about any of the races, he doesn't hate drow any more than he hates anyone else. Despite the chaotic neutral alignment on a class that's a half-rogue, he's not interesting in crime. If you need a monster killed, he can do that. Drovic "Entreri" Dearthe wrote: Also for anyone curious, Dearthe is pronounce (dare-rath-ey) Now that you pointed that out, Moragul will go out of his way to pronounce it wrong. Way to go. I've not yet read most of the other entries, but if Saoirse is Lord Randall's BFF, she and Moragul would probably know her since, presumably, Lord Morn has the highest paying monster slaying contracts. I haven't had time to get into FR lore to populate Moragul's backstory with proper nouns, but his proper-noun-lacking backstory is more or less complete and can be found in this profile. I hope I'll have time to populate it with some locations and dates but work has been... work =( I don't want people to get the wrong idea about Moragul. The CN alignment won't be an excuse to be evil. I think of him like the main character from the early 1900's samurai films, or the main character of the mid 1900's Hollywood western films based on said samurai films. Supposedly he doesn't care about anything, but at the climax of the film he'll ride back to face to lead villain even if he has nothing to gain from it. He's CN, but there's good in there somewhere. John Wayne would play Moragul in the movie.
Here's a partial submission for Crisischild's slayer. I have part of his backstory, but I know nothing about Forgotten Realms so it's going to take a while for me to get everything story-wise put together. The mechanical part is mostly complete, though. CN half-orc slayer. Highest skills are stealth and disable device and he has passable know Local and Dungeon since he has 16 int as well as perception. He's a slayer, so he can do the sneaky-stabby stuff, but he's built to stand on the frontline with the fighters. The sneak attack die are more of a nice bonus when it comes up than something I'm relying on. His AC is a little low because I blew all my gold on cool slayer-specific items instead of the "big six". I'll take the heavy armor Slayer talents at level twelve, that'll help his survivability. I took the Assassinate advanced slayer talent at level 10 and the DC is somewhere around 25. It'll hopefully be a cool way to start combats than something I expect the entire party to work around all day every day.
Wasp's profile and backstory and stuff are all updated. I think he'll be effective, but I took quite a few things that I just thought were cool so he's not super optimized. If the party has been struggling in combat he's probably not a great fit. And I've decided to keep the name as Wasp. Couldn't come up with anything better.
I apologize for my flip-floppyness, but the vision of Kraig in my mind's eyeballs doesn't like him to have a shield. I'd like to withdraw KRAIG and apply with this fellow (name still pending but the stats are mostly done) instead. He's still a brawler, cuz' I feel like playing a brawler. He'll be a better tank than Kraig would have been and be better able to deal with different threats thanks to martial flexibility, though he does less damage. I bought Smart Armor and since this guy retains martial flexibility I was thinking of flavoring it as different combat programs loaded into the armor to fight different things. This fellow is a bounty hunter, and he has Know Local, Survival, Intimidate, and perception for that. Also took Craft Mechanical and Know Engineering, Technologist and Craft arms and armor cuz' yall said you were missing that. He won't be as good at them as your missing alchemist was but I think he'll hit most of the rolls. @ GM_DBH: Before I write the backstory, since this guy is a bounty hunter I was wondering if there was a spoiler-free, story-relevant named bad guy in the area that could have been the target that lead him to the Scar? If not it's fine. He'll just be in the area looking for upgrades. Doesn't really matter. |
