Is everything back in order yet? :)
Huzzah! Glad you're back on-line! I think we can *definitely* wait for you to re-build your creations (hopefully they won't come back even more powerful than before :D). I'm still quite excited about the game.

The Gryphoenix pauses and cocks its head to one side. Well I think we should free you now, friend! Maybe tell the others that? I can't talk words they understand. Volcanoes sounds like something I would like! What do you think would happen if you fused with me? I'd like having a friend with me always. Souls sound confusing. Do I have a soul?
It ended up being pretty stellar, yes. Malignant skin cancer, but it's out and they don't think it's gone anywhere, and his nose is still on. Glad to hear that it went well! Yes, this has been fun. I hadn't planned on diving into the Gryphoenix's thoughts so publicly, but I've been enjoying giving him a 'voice'. :D
The Gryphoenix's intellect seems to grow more lively as it feasts on the answers given by the mental voice. Oooo, that's really neat! It'd be really fun to be able to talk telepathically like this with everyone! I do want to be your friend! Teleportation also sounds fun! I would like to carry your core. What's a volcano? Is it somewhere nice and hot? What do you mean about your core melding with flesh? What's a conjured being? What's a soul? Why are you cut off from the rooms right now? Does that mean it would be better for us to free you before we leave? It takes another couple of excited steps closer to the middle of the room as it 'converses'.
I'm now chuckling at the idea of the Gryphoenix developing telepathy and forever afterwards bombarding the rest of the party with endless chatter and questions.
I'd wait until at least after the weekend to start getting worried--it's more likely they're just waiting a couple of days for things to stabalize.
The Gryphoenix can keep asking questions like this all day. :D
The Gryphoenix half-opens its wings in excitement and takes a step towards the center of the room. Its eyes are fixed on the odd pillar-like structure, as if focusing on the source of the voice could somehow get knowledge out of it faster. Its thoughts leap from subject to subject like flickering flames, eagerly seeking more information about everything. Thoughts: Does your core not burn? Could I carry it? Where is the master? What are rabbits and trees and sky? What is teleportation? Thank you friend. We are friends right? Why do you always say we? Is there someone else with you? How do you mind-talk? Could I learn to do it?
The Gryphoenix perks up as its questions get answered, lapping up the knowledge eagerly like a fire finding new fuel... and like a fire, feeding its curiosity only makes it hungrier for more. Its thoughts become more focused as it realizes someone is listening. So where is your core? What does it look like? Can you do more than mind-talk? What's the surface like? Where do you want to go once you're free? What's being free like? Are you saying we should go in the other rooms first before trying to get free?
While the Gryphoenix is fairly smart, he's rather innocent or even naive, having never known much beyond his cramped existence in the Tower. Hence his questions. :D
The Gryphoenix's mind fills with questions as it listens. What is a portal?
The Gryphoenix cocks its head to one side quizzically, wondering what the voice means. It is also curious where the funny man who ordered Quizzle around is.
The Gryphoenix tilts its head to one side, a bit surprised by the voice in its head. It screeches a bit sheepishly when the voice points out it should not get too close to the others, looking carefully to make sure it doesn't burn them.
The Gryphoenix, its belly actually full for the first time in its life (for the moment), looks up from the ravaged remains of the Gatorpede and notices its new friends starting to leave. It hurries to catch up.
The Gryphoenix will just keep eating until the others start leaving the room. So someone else probably needs to push things along at this point. :D
The Gryphoenix lifts its head from its meal long enough to shriek an enthusiastic agreement to the 'feeding' part, then continues feasting on the now-scorched corpse.
Unfortunately the Grypheonix's main defense is his hit point total, so he's probably going to be getting hurt quite often.
Panting a bit, the Grypheonix considers the dead creature. Its bite had burned in a different way from fire, so the fiery monster was a bit hesitant to just eat it, but it was hungry. It took an experimental nibble, and when that didn't immediately cause pain, it started to dig in, the Gatorpede's flesh burning and blackening as the Grypheonix's intense heat continued to wash over it.
The Gryphoenix seems to be losing this fight, so it shrieks back in rage and attacks wildly.
It depends on how fast we want things to go. If we want to keep things moving fairly quickly, two or three days is fine. If we're okay with things being slower, more than that would be acceptable.
Ouch. Both what you went through and what you did to my poor Grypheonix. :D
The Gryphoenix shrieks in pain and rage, then strikes back with talon and beak.

The Gryphoenix shriek-roars back at the other creature, tensing to pounce.
The Gryphoenix, stretching his wings after being cooped up in that cage for so long, is somewhat surprised by his funny little friend flying past screaming. Looking the way he came, he notices something moveing in the shadows and crouches down, a low growl forming in his chest. He's hungry, and it looks like he's finally going to get to hunt...
The Switch's game library is pretty tiny right now. I can't speak to the Xbox One. Of course, if you already bought a system on Saturday, it's a bit late to respond now. :D I take it we still haven't heard from the deity of primates?
The giant flaming griffon looks around cheerily, waving at his new freinds.
So, when were we going to start this game again? As in, this one, not the possible follow-on. :D
