I am excited by all the possibilities this throws up. As much as I hate the idea of a beloved character like Ziggy biting the big one, I think something like that would lend an air of seriousness that stuff like these seem to lack at times. I think them dying is better for the story than if they were to be converted; I think that happens to often in stories and leads to those whole overdone redemption arcs.

That being said, this was great! And I ran The Year of the Data Scourge today for a veteran group and they seemed to enjoy it. Here's to a banner year of Starfinder!

Hey, all!

I had a group run through a scenario this afternoon. They had to take a pre-gen with them due to a late drop. At one point, they come across an encounter wherein they bought drinks from the bartender. They spent around 140 credits. Their request was to have the pregen just pay for everything from their credits on their sheet.

It seems a little disingenuous to use the pregen as a free money bank for the scenario. However, I can't find anything in the Society guide that addresses this specific situation. My thought would be to total up the credits spent, divide it by the number of characters in the scenario and reduce their credit reward by that amount.

What's the consensus on a situation like this? Thanks!

Downloaded and started reading through Silence at Outpost 634 tonight. Just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions or thoughts on the scenario. At a high level, the scenario sounds pretty cool.

I like the first one and, to me at least, it doesn't look too heavy. Although that knife handle being turned the wrong way is driving me crazy... Of the two others, I like the NASA one...

I say go with the one you like the best. It doesn't have to be super accurate. Style over perceived substance... lol

It looks like the Map list is inaccurate. The text in the scenario calls for Starfinder Flip-Tiles: Space Station Starter Set. None of the maps above are in the adventure.

In looking through the book. I noticed that the header for the Giantblood Theme indicates that the theme imparts a +1STR but the Theme Knowledge description indicates a +1CON. Which is correct?

Mike have been great to game with. He looks out of new players and that is great. I need to make some more time to get in and game with the man more now that I'm back in Bloomington. He's definitely deserving of the accolades.
