Hello this is Gnomezrule's submission. It was originally intended for Skulls and Shackles but Savage Tide is in a very similar vein. I reworked some of the details for the new campaign.

Dont get me wrong it looks awesome. If you have ever held a sword there are lots of times your hand or wrists touch the cross guard.

Yeah I know some folks are suggesting that its an old design or its poorly made because there is no one to train the new sith. I like the idea that it has issues and is venting plasma or whatever but it would make it really really hard to use.

I loved the trailer. Perfect except for the light saber. It looks cool but it will take off more hands than it will protect.

I dumped Disable for Mechanics because I thought that was the plan. I am good either way just want to be able to pop a lock if I needs ta. Though I think we have that skill set covered.

Terz growls furiously at the undead creature growing angry at seeing the creature getting healed.

I just noticed I only rolled 1d6 for my axe in round 2 instead of 2d6.

Terz looks out from the crate that he was pushing toward the turrets to see them already destroyed. He nod in approval. As he falls back in line he finds himself bumping into Kunga or stepping past him. "Speed beats stealth when they know where we are. Docking bay 94." He catches himself and shakes his head like it would put a thought train back in line. "I mean 49. But we should hurry."

Terz' eyes dart around as the shots are exchanged.

Assuming they are still active

Terz moves fast. He rushes past the others to a crate nearest one of the turrets and he slams into the crate pushing it forward and trying to close the distance down the hall hoping to close the distance with minimal exposure.

If one or both are standing I am assuming that is my full round.

" Terz seems confused by those who spring to action he turns his attention to the mechanical sound from down the hall and sees the turrets his eyes go wide.

Terz looks curiously at the woman, tilting his head to side quizzically, "Aren't you a little TER-an for Imperinati."

Terz realizes the collar is off and springs following his salvation. Once in the store room he quickly throws on his gear lingering on a black stone wich he throws over his head. After stashing several axes on his belt he grabs a spare rifle that everyone ignores and loads it grabing a few clips.

He turns to see the others he seems curious at Freajia greeting and mutters surprised at the cold. "Whoa cold."

When Chaali introduces himself a noticeable akwardness comes over him. I really need to get this armor painted blasted Imperium paint job. I wonder if the Templar will take offense to my armor. He looks wary, "We should move before they just gas us."

I went back through the recruitment thread. I just noted that Use Computer is not on the Slayer List.

Is Mechanics the replacement for Disable Device or Use Computer. I have not issues taking the hit to the skill just trying to figure if I have things right in the profile.

Is mechanics on the slayer list?

Energy is energy I think the source scientific or magic should not play. Its going to create additional pockets of unintended resistances that will effect how hit monsters.

Well I think looking at the setting documents there are several borrowed from other sources elements but some fun differences. I could be wrong but this is how I am reading it.

The Imperium comes off something like a fascist militarized government with a healthy dose of the sort of neo European elements from the Dune noble houses perhaps that comes from the name Imperium which has that feel. I can see from some folks history they got that feel too. Cheliax in space.

The Alderani as the name seems to suggest are similar in spirit to the rebellion in Star Wars perhaps with more resources but they are a counterpoint to the Imperium.

The Templars are like jedi but no Jedi/Sith Dualism the're neutral so that is kinda interesting.

The Drow are just bastards money making techno bastards.

I like that list Lazarus though I have yet to watch a B5 episode. For whatever reason I never wanted to. I think I was too firmly a DS9 fan so I felt like it would be cheating.

I could be wrong but I picking up more space opera mash up more than space western (I too like the Firefly). But I think the feel I am picking up is cool.

If anyone in the party already has a ship and is a decent enough sort they could have recently answered a distress beacon. Would have stumbled upon ole Lux, lucky kitty he is. Now he would be half crazed from delirium and under the antique space suit would be wearing a beat up templar style armor painted black and red (imperium colors) though any insignia have been removed. I think this sort of intro only really works if one of us has a ship or are on the same ship and perhaps Terz is a bit of a mystery who is this strange Imperium half savage cat thing in the brig or kept under anesthesia.

Do you have any pictures of what you would say that Templar armor looks like. I realized I did not do my full description yet and I am tying to get the right mix of a kid abducted from a near stone age culture and forced to live and fight in a super tech galaxy. I found a picture but it feels toooooo fantasy.

As for if we know each other. I wrote they history of Terz so that where he was flexible. If he has just been rescued or just dropped in space station. Though several of us have experience in Imperium space.

Is there comparable light armor armor I could afford? I picked that because of the defense value. I figured I got it because at one point in my conscription I was able to get my hands on it after we killed the poor fellow. My thinking would be that conscripts are fodder and are not properly outfitted so there is a keep what you kill culture among the fighters.

Chaali- that is awesome I love Fineas and Pherb. The Star Wars episode was epic.

Kunga just make sure you shoot first.
