I am sorry to hear it, but I understand. Personally I prefer starting with a MUCH lesser scale, at village level, and then take it from there. Makes things more manageable and you can build it in layers. As players explore, you add more and more. That is one of the good things about PbP, you always have time to check and read before you have to post anything :)

Why is that?

Enjoy your vacation Posh!

And if nothing comes up, then we head to The Lonesome Tankard.

"Agreed" - Teryin nodded at Posh - "None of our business anyway"

In that case:

The young man approaches closer, trying to understand if there were victims, and/or if there are wounded nearby.

Teryon looks around.

There are no onlookers?

"I wonder what happened here?" - the curious Teryon approached to peek inside.

Does the fire look recent?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

No posts were showing for me - apologies.

"I have a good feeling about this 'Welcome Hand' - Teryon commented to the others - "Seems friendly enough?"

Teryon would enjoy visiting the Lonesome Tankard Inn, but his wallet will probably not allow it, so... I would suggest perhaps the Carpenters Shop and Rooming House owned by Roarel Olff?

"Fair enough" - Teryon smiled - "Maybe we can try to find others who have made an incursion to that place before? There has got to be others, right?"

I'd have suggested Purple Cragons, but that name appears taken already!

Hahaha!

Teryon was distracted by memories of Lynessia - she was beautiful by any standards. The fact she had broken her nose one too many times just accentuated her dynamic character, which made her even more attractive to the young man who had no patience for the foppish girls which usually waltzed around noble's houses.

He made an effort to concentrate on the task at hand, turning to his companions as they walked along - "So... What do we actually know about these 'Haunted Halls'?

My vote is for Diamonds in the Rough ;)

Just checking in.

Yeah, I like that one too :)

I have an alias now. And I can already imagine Teryon reminiscing about Lynessia over a glass of red wine.
