Terflynn explains what they encountered within, showing the figurines and explaining the magic related to the onis' escape. He shows the rubbings of the walls he took and describes some of the statues with clinical detail, much to the discomfort of many of the listeners. When he hears of the ronin, he responds. "I believe this to be the right course of action. Let us enlist these ronin to help us consolidate the factions and end this Jade Regent. And let us be paid well for it." Terflynn says with a mild smirk.
It was a good game. One of my favorites. I enjoyed Terflynn. Perhaps someday I'll have the chance to finish it out. Thanks very much for running, EF. I hope to find a place in your future games.

That was sort of the idea, yes. That first round was harsh.
Terflynn draws a potion and drinks the contents greedily. "Tend yourselves." is all he says as he discards the empty vial.

Terflynn decides not to wait around for his entire party to be slaughtered defenselessly. He interposes thick ice between his companions and the creatures, water crystallizing rapidly from the air and hardening into a cohesive barrier.

I would've compared it to hold person I suppose, given the similarities. Speaking of, I would assume the new save takes an action. Does it not? If not, is the save at the beginning of my turn or the end? I would assume I don't get my turn one way or the other, but I'm certainly open to having a turn.

It's probably irrelevant, and too late to change at this point, but breaking free of the webs is one combat maneuver, and moving more than 5ft/not getting tangled again is another.

"This is a mighty oni with regeneration. Burn it, my fellows!" Terflynn declares, smirking a bit at the pathetic attempt on his mind. He then summons a dark fog over the pit that billows forth from the air and seems to float unnaturally.
Twilight Haze, no save or SR, just an illusory fog cloud plus darkness essentially. Most importantly, that flying Oni won't be able to target us with anything unless it comes through the cloud.
