Tensen will move forward and continue into Tidus' old(?) square. 40' double move, but first square is difficult terrain.

Correct; barring one feat (Dastardly Finish, which requires 5 or 6d6 sneak dice), they gotta be helpless (which is easiest achieved with Hold Person at lower levels or Color Spraying a low-enough HD target.) This guy's just stunned, which is "no actions or dex bonus, and a -2 AC." The more you know!

Tensen, unable to keep up due to armour and terrain, will move to the now conscious Tidus and pick him up off the ground. "Well fought, my friend. Now stand, for our foe flees and we have achieved our goal. If you have any parting shots for our friend..."

The third time is, in fact, the charm as he moves closer! And then the minotaur is right in reach at the end of his walk, so he tries to Glaive it!

Glaive (PA, Bard Song): 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 3 + 1 = 91d10 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 7 + 1 = 12 I'm flat on the log this round, so AC is 15.

Tensen will attempt to go across the log again!

Acro: 1d20 + 6 - 5 ⇒ (1) + 6 - 5 = 2 "Augh! Thwarted! By a log!" He reaches out to the group around the minotaur as he stands for a second time. "Worry not, I am coming!"

Tensen starts across, using his glaive as an improvised balance pole. "I will not leave a woman in danger!"

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 6 - 5 ⇒ (1) + 6 - 5 = 2

As it turns out, using a weapon with 4 blades on one end as a balancing pole is a HORRIBLE idea! Reflex: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18 He falls on his face on the edge of the log, and stands up.

Tensen will full-run 60 feet towards the minotaur, aiming his path through the gap between halflings.

Tensen waits for his blades to stop spinning, hoping to aim the remaining gore into a corner and not on anyone. "Well, that was something." He then winds the cord back up, preparing for the next fight.

Ha, I forgot I even had the Killer trait (since I was planning on dropping it anyways after this session), though I doubt the difference between 40 and 43 damage are minimal in a Tier 1 scenario.

Alternatively, Titus will ALSO crit the north zombie (and goes before me), so I suppose I'll take the hit from cover.

Ha, oh wow; I didn't even see that rock between me and the zombie. Whoops! I'm guessing it's cover? How convenient for zombies to show up in my chainsaw-esque weeapon-using character's first scenario, though!

Tensen pulls the cord on his glaive, causing the blade to spin wildly (for 3 rounds)! He then steps to the east and swings at the one without cover! (If the rock isn't cover, attack the south one otherwise, one step north-east and swing at the north one.)

Tensen will move forward, drawing his Ripsaw Glaive in the process, and swing it at the singular undead to the south!

Depravity was going to exchange a silver for a Taldan Crown (gold), I believe, though I simply offered to pay her way for whatever it was I was thinking was going on at the time.

Honestly, I'm wrapping up my third year of PFS (started 2011 New Year's Eve/Day with MotFF), and I can honestly say that I wouldn't have done anything with the pool.

Stealing something from someone, I guess.

Honestly, a lot of this stuff is way over Tensen's head, and the little ones have been doing all the research so far. Plus, they're so much better at it than him and he can appreciate the beauty in that, so when they're good to go, Tensen is.

"Alas, Aroden was one before my time. He is mentioned quite often, though time has its way with all things." He thinks about the House of the Immortal Son and how awful the last iteration of "Among the Living" was. "Though I am very curious; how does this pool work?"

So, now that the new document is out, do we just keep up to date or just update between scenarios? Never ran into this problem before, since I only placed face-to-face during the Gunslinger playtest.

"I do not know sign language, let alone... whatever it is he normally speaks." Tensen considers a thought, but dismisses it. "I shall refrain from my Spell-Like abilities, though enticing as they are for the idea of parley." Given that they make enough "casty-looking runes" enough to provoke AoOs.

"Greetings, Gillman. I am Tensen Corem. What may I call you?" Tensen adds a bow to the greeting, as per standard.

Tensen clambers up, not questioning whether he could handle a an man-sized creature landing on his hand. He turns back to the tiefling. "Ah, what, bashful? Nonsense, beautiful. Heavens, I'll avert my gaze if that is what's bothering you." He also questions whether he could carry the woman easily, but not in the verbal way (having learned that stinging lesson before.) "Should Sheylyn (whose name I WILL get wrong a number of times) grant me the strength, I'd be more than happy to whisk you across!"

My 16 Strength light load is 76 pounds, looks like I'd have to roll my +2 (before -3 check penalty for medium encumbrance for it.) I'd do it, though; I've got a shirt reroll and a character full of bravado.

Shenlyn says I have to appreciate the beauty of all creatures, but watching the Gazelle leap from inside the pit might be a bit much , do ho ho.

If it's 10, though, doesn't weird D&D square logic mean you have to clear 15 ft to move over the 2 squares of pit? I probably have my logic messed up somewhere; I'm running on 4.5 hours of sleep an a soda from breakfast, so failure to logic percentage is pretty high.

Corem jokes as he begins to shimmy across, continuing to take 10. "Ha! I feel for you, Miss Depravity, as you need not see the full glory of the Corem family quite yet!"

Wouldn't it be 15 to cross the 10? I don't see anyone with any acrobatics, and if any of you half-ies don't have the "move at 30 feet" trait, that's another -4 to jump.

"Alas, I fear my chances of leaping across this pit are slim, even if I were to go full Calistrian, as glorious as it would be." The Taldan states without missing a step, as if he hadn't given the idea second thought. He examines the edge of the pit more closely this time. "I am more capable at climbing, though if these edges are as smooth as you say, that, too, may prove difficult."

What would I have to do to theorize how difficult it would be to shimmy across the lip? Would rolling a theoretical climb give me the chance of falling in? If not, I'd take 10 for 16 after removing 4-Mirror Armor. If a test does put me in danger, I'd continue conferring with the group.

"What, you've gone blind?!? Hoist him back up!" Tensen moves to help with the rope.

Tensen looks around, having been given a little bit of formal tracking training back in Taldor.

Untrained Survival: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10 +1 if it's to track something, as per the Track ability. Survival: Another skill that was an unfortunate casualty of the "not enough skill points" predicament.

Tensen will wait, but is anxious to be done so he can ensure his new lady friend's safety.

"I'm more concerned with the fact she left all this useful gear behind. I mean, it perhaps might slow Miss Janira down, but that seems unlikely..." Tensen, largely unable to use what's left, offers to carry the rest (regardless of the fact it is a small-sized backpack.)

Understood. I will continue to believe you are an Iomedean and assume "Korada" is just her Tien name or something. Tensen don't judge.

I'm going on a leap of logic about knowing Iomedae's tenets, not like Tensen actually HAS Knowledge Religion. Isn't Korada the Vanyaran Emperyal Lord of pacifism, though?

"Indeed, I will look from above while you all can look below." Tensen takes a minute to remove his 4-mirror armor, knot some of his rope, and get to climbing so that the short ones don't have to. And, no, he has no idea Halflings get a +2 to climb racially.

Though, before we go," Tensen holds his hand aloft and snaps his fingers once, conjuring both a blue and orange rose into his hand. He then hands them to Janira and the tiefling, respectively. "A rose, for the beauties of the group. If I am to enter the doldrums of travel, then I only hope my prayer to bring some form of beauty to them." Said rose is incredibly brittle and clearly artificial (as if it being conjured out of thin air didn't make it obvious.)

SLA is from his Inner Sea Primer (Taldor) trait. I have Mage Hand and Prestidigitation 1/day. Assuming the Blog image is her (since it matches name.) Blue seems like the secondary color of hers.

Buying an Iron Fuse Grenade (50 gp) and an iron Holy Symbol (5 gp) gold remaining: 64 - 50 - 5 = 9 Otherwise, good to go.

A young Taldan man wearing armor from distant Tian Xia waits for other to perform their introductions. "Ah, milady, I am Tensen Acribald Corem, eligible bachelor of the Corem family. A pleasure to make your acquaintance." He punctuates his introduction with bow, making sure his strange glaive hits nothing. "My training has given me the mantle of one that stands at point a group, to offer those who wish such a group harm a chance to surrender. And to handle the situation when they do not accept the gracious offer."

I realized I made the "Offer surrender first Shenlynite" without having any diplomacy. This surely won't backfire hardcore, right?

Is there a new document out? If Slayers get 6+int now, I am so getting the Wealthy Dabbler trait instead of Ordinary; summoning roses as a Shenlynite is maximum good.

I don't recall arcs ever being the same tier, so you might still be good. Remember the Rescue Zarta arc?

New takes-place-in-Taldor mission! Yay! I'm actually REALLY excited this character exists now (even if he stays this sub-par class, because I REALLY want to make a Lion Blade but the best path there I think is the Sandman Bard...)

Still, you run enough stuff that you should put up a Wishlist. I am a shameless, economy-driving machine.

Locking myself in as the Slayer, by the way, just for the desire to let other decide what classes without a wildcard.
