Both are mistakes - amended! I think I just added the bonus feats when I multi-classed into noble instead of adding them to the list I could choose from. Added armour (light) as 3rd level feat and removed running attack :(
Mesh underlay is gone - reading fail on my part.

I believe my levels went: Scoundrel, noble, scout, scoundrel, noble, scoundrel, noble, ace pilot. His life hasn't been as erratic as that appears, if you imagine something closer to taking 6 levels of 50% scoundrel/50% noble to reflect the dual nature of his business. level 6 & 7 could be wrong way round, but I don't think it matters.

Probably doesn't matter much, but are there any widespread trade type languages I've missed?

I hope you all brought your anti-nausea meds. I am not the only pilot who knows how to tumble a ship so that it will fool a Kalvonex S23 "Heimdall" sensor web - you know, like the one surrounding Carratos - but there aren't many of us and most of the ones I know are ... um... not exactly sympathetic to lawful authority.

DHq's submission

Background:

As far as Tavin is concerned he was born in space and will die in space. He is at his happiest either piloting or tinkering with a spacecraft. He spent many years building his courier business both legitimately and through the fringe, acquiring the skills he needed to survive. His reputation for getting people and equipment to its destination was above reproach, even if his methods weren’t. An interdiction by a Sith force ended his career and very nearly his life. Narrowly escaping while causing massive damage to the ship that boarded him and destroying his own ship left him with no ship, no funds, no way off planet and a strong dislike of the Sith. Tavin rashly enlisted with the Republic Navy. His piloting and mechanical skills soon garnered the attention of the Marines where a talent for blowing things up was developed. Several promotions followed. Tavin would have been promoted higher but for his independence in the field. In peacetime he would have been demoted or drummed out. In wartime results matter and Tavin’s recklessness (nearly) always had a positive outcome.

Now officially retired, and re-building his business Tavin will still answer the Republics call when his talents for infiltration or exfiltration are required.

1: Who do I know?
Shael Kurin F human. Former Marine and comrade, now a senior officer in the new republic military and supporter of my pseudo-independent status.
Frayl Coomber M Sluissi. Fellow engineer and information broker trusted friend and middleman throwing contracts my way – for a suitable commission unfortunately.
2: Who knows me?
Dragia Auric: F Arkainian Smuggler and not pleased at losing some successful runs to me. Even though I am out of the business she apparently holds a grudge – nothing to do with me sabotaging her engine on that last job. It shouldn’t have cost more than 2000 credits to fix…
Fin Sama: M Human Sith, Commander of the force that put me out of business. Hates the fact that I have escaped his particular brand of ‘justice’ the 3 times we have crossed paths since then. The massive damage to his pride and joy 'The Fuenesta Morte' on the first occasion probably didn’t help.
3:Why are you part of the mission?
I have a history of not only getting people to where they need to be, but getting them out again. Massive property damage optional.
