The acceptance of magic right away is more common than most people seem to believe. Especially when things like that are reported on the net and written in books all the time now. "Yes I have seen angels" "Yes I have encountered ghosts" etc. Apparently more and more people are having encounters with the supernatural or more people are just coming out of the closet so to speak. Sure most is BS so to speak, but... some might be true, and many people believe. So it isn't a stretch anymore for people to believe right away in a story line like it was 20 or even 10 years ago as it is more main stream now. The X-Files generation has grown up and Freaky Links are common now. Even people in suits are flakes now ;)

In Pathfinder most people dont know the Drow (Rymes with Toe) even exist... Only the surface Elves who are at war with them, and the Dwarves who quested for sky would have reccord of them if they dont have bardic stories of legend of them... The Orcs of Belkzen might have legends of them to scare their children...

Drow rymes with toe acording to Gygax who brought them into the game ;)

Cool thanks :)

So, how would you build a Wizards College? Location, stats, points...
What would you need to do it :)

Ya the Aasimar probably came from some divine haritage from many generations past. Perhaps hundreds or thousands, and some superstitious local farmer freaked and gave the kid to the chirch because of the blessed or cursed child was a bit to wierd.

Ironbrier had Tsuto trained in thievery, and Tsuto met a Lawful Neutral or Lawful Evil monk of Irori and took more training... and later becomes an assassin...

They can conceivably level down as well. In comes poor brother or Sir whomever disheveled after an attack. Being helped by some men. He has been attacked by some nasty undead and has lost a level or 2. What shall the pc's do...

Since Goblins ride Worges(monster wolves) and hate dogs as dogs attack goblins... and foxes simply shy away from creatures in general as they have super high senses and tend to hide from any predators...

Goblins would tend to view foxes a lot differently than predatory dogs and wolves. Since a fox won't attack a goblin unless cornered. Dogs will hunt them, and a wolf pack will if necessary.

Then he honed his skills with a LG Monk ;)

Well the all female soldiers of the queens guard of Korvosa dont have any skin showing, not even their faces. All platemail and full helms.

Then there is Madam Mvashti who is the ugliest old crone I have ever seen who lives in Sandpoint and is a local Druid :)

There is Mammy Graul who is a disgusting Ogre Decent Human woman in Hook Mountain Massacre... yugh...

Merisial dosnt wear anything but leather armor, and she is mostly covered...

The Red wearing blond sorsereres dosnt wear armor but has magical protection so it dosnt matter...

The Half Orc Inquisitor is fairly well protected... and debatable for looks...

The Witch is cute, but dosnt wear armor that isnt magick rings etc...

So there really isnt much cheese as there were in the old 70`s and 80`s fantasy art :)

They tend to take their sources from all over the place, so they might have even taken right out of Oriental History for Thassilon. They tend to look at India, the Kelts, you name it. And historically I mean. Check out the Vudra blog on the message board, wow. Talking about adapting character classes to ancient Indian concepts, adding their Cast Systems, Mythology etc... Especially when various Historians get together with various Mythologists and start hashing things out...

Anyhow, the Azlant have some decendents... the relativly pureblood Azlanti surface people... and the pureblood degenerate Azlanti Human Merpeople... Humans with the aquatic subtype... they all have a bit of the sharp featured look. Just check out the World Guide, Campaign Setting book. The Surface people mingle with the regular population, and are usually in places like Taldor.

In the Campaign setting and in Burnt Offerings it says The Great Wizard Xin was exiled from Azlant and took with him many people and some friends and founded the empire of Thassilon on the other continent.

The Thassilonians have nothing to do with the Tiens... Totally the other side of the world... and the Thassilonians were a white non oriental race, though they did spawn the Varisians who are a more gypsie looking race...

You can find all the stuff on the Pathfinder wikki just look up Thassilon... :) Check out Xin, and Azlant.

They would have Azlanti, Thassilonian being the lower dialect of Azlanti, later Shoanti and Varisian are the low dialects of Thassilonian... the Runelords are very long lived so the few thousand years between Azlant and the Fall of Thassilon is quite a span between those languages and their changes... and the Shoanti and Varisian languages and 10,000 years to change from the fall of Thassilon...

But they would know, Ignan, Aguan, Auran, Terran, Infernal, Abyssal, Celestial, Azlanti, Thassilonian, Draconic, Aklo and Necril the Languages by the Azlanti hated enemy the Serpentfolk!

Elven, Sylven, Gnome (They have been around as long as the Gods)

She might even speak Old Osiriani...

Sorry I was thinking the Hobbit and their Dwarven Ponies :) Clidsdaleponies ?

+1

Of course they can, but I would go with ponies and smaller horses for convieniences because of thier size in relation to the horse ;)

Great Stuff :) Awesome ideas ;)

Absolutely wonderful :)

Wow, great stuff. Keep up the good work :)

Just have the Iconic figures in the back (the pregenerated ones) build the kingdome for her, and let her run it :)

Hey it`s your game, have fun and go with what you like to do :)
however if you like Cannon, this isnt the forgotten realms :) In this world nobody on the surface knows about the Drow except the Dwarves who live in the Sky Citadels (So named because they are on the surface ie build in surface mountains and not in the deep underdark) and not dwarves who are born in some human city or such. Got that from reading between the lines. The Dwarves Came from the Deep Underdark.

And the Elves from Mierani Forrest, as the Drow split from the elves millenia ago, have been fighting a secret war with them in their ruind city of Celwinvian and they havn`t been telling any body about it. Or letting outsiders in. The Elves from Kyonin probably dont even know.

And as the Drow dont get above ground at all there arn`t any half Drow in Golarion yet, and surface people dont know about them yet.

And the authors of Golarion make it known that the Drow are supposed to be the most EVIL you have seen. Even their prestige classes are nasty... Ich

But hey, play it like you want :) If its not fun, its not a game :) These are just pointers. And nobody here wants to argue ;)

Thats just my 2 coppers worth :)

Well done on the wood elf :) May I sugest Verduran forrest as its closest to Kyonin, and also some in the Shudderwood as its a nice remote and a good place for them to hide :)

Tallfellows and Stouts are more like groups that lived with and changed over time than people that interbread. I think they are too different a species to do that. Thas my take anyway :) As their perceptions are more learned than inbread.

I want David Tennant to do a Character in there somewhere...

You get Kobold eggs, you could have a lot of fun raising them ;)
The Kings Royal Guard... A bunch of Kobold Experts specializing in Mining, or whatever, or perhaps training a bunch of Rangers... or even City Watch... Or Hey Little Diplomats to surounding Nations ;) Little Bards.

Tsuto Kaijitsu would make a great Red Mantis Assassin :)

The Local Priest of Desna is a good character to flesh out as well. And there is a local healer witch in town. A lady that goes herb collecting in the mornings... An elven woman or some such...

This all shaihaluds me...
