Quick, someone release an Adventure about Chuul riding Drow, using spells from all eight schools of magic as Mario Kart items.

How were you able to cast a two action spell, reload your spellstrike and spellstrike again in 3 actions?
You confirned my worries regarding this rule. I'm somewhat skittish about implementing it at my table, especially with a caster using summoning spells.
I do hope for today, a longer weekend is perfect for some reading
fingers crossed for a weekend reading treat
let the season of f5 begin!
I like it, allows for weapon trait integration, maybe even add a trait or two to a particular weapon, say daggers would gain backstabber in Wolf stance.

Some days I wonder what is the point of continuing a conversation where the primary question has already been answered by a designer, and yet it continues on and on rehashing the same old points and arguments while we have multiple threads that touch on the same general subject with the same people speaking the same phrases past each other?

I love Wanshou and I for one support our new kraken overlord.

I presume the Youtube influencers and other reviewers already have gotten their review copies. They have not. We will start sending PDFs to reviewers the day after our October releases date, which is this Wednesday. The embargo will lift when subscribers start to get their PDFs, around the 30th. Around the 30th? *insert eyes emoji* Authorization on the 26th, start of shipping on the 30th, so some may very well be in for some trick or remastering

A well positioned redeemer can be a gamechanger without doing any damage, combined with wrestler archetype and goinfg for a shield plus free hand you lock down enemies, and when your allies do get hit, you give a pretty hefty debuff on the enemy, and resistance to your allies(or nullify the enemies' action, which is also very valuable).

Thankfully it's not "Werewolf of Wall Street" the game, and I can accept lesser verisimilitude for a well working item system.

Seems funny it's the supposed meta, but in a published AP( Blood Lords) up until level 13 there were zero(0) +3/+4 bosses. Bossfights were mostly APL +2 with some other creatures/hazards.

In my experience it's a fight against 4 APL -1 creatures. They tend to pack a punch and be a very real threat to the party, but are more likely than not to fail a save and can be reliably targeted by max rank incap spells.

But wouldn't one want their dragon PC do what a dragon would do? Also, as this is 3PP this way it's an easier ancestry to drop into your setting without having to worry if it is a cultural fit.

The solution to these people's problems is right in front of them and they don't want it for reasons like "it's not actually a caster" (false) and "it doesn't have spells" (entirely cosmetic) Sure everyone should at least consider it, but it can't work for everyone. Not everyone can easily mentally apply the trappings of one class over another, or navigate moments during play where your actual class can't do something that is expected of the class you're pretending to be. Plus some things simply aren't transferable, for instance someone for whom staves are important won't find their fix in a kineticist. Kinetic activation is a level 2 feat that enables a Kineticist to prepare a staff or use a scroll.
I would remake focus spells do that they can be used in lieu of cantrips, and make current theses level 1 feats so that you could grab multiple of them, say blending and spell substitution.
Lava leap for me. Great engage tool with built in survivability and decent damage.

I'd love 3e to be classless with what feats you take determining what you do.

Okay, but the protector trees stay after you plant them. Reforestation of the Mana Wastes can commence.

I've paid $14 for international shipping and got the pdf early, I've also paid over 150$ and got my order shipped after street date. I don't think it's tied to how much you pay.

The blasts adding both strength and con if used with two actions seems great. Also loving using con to hit

Yes, people complaining about a class that hasn't come out yet certainly takes the wind out of one's sails, doubly so in a hype thread dedicated to said class.

Off-guard seems like a better description than a medical foot condition. Same goes for reactive strike. That said my table will probably stick with old terminology.
Primal casters get a shield equivalent which is nice

After seeing a level 3 barbarian perform a suicide charge against a jungle drake (that was right after them in initiative) after winning initiative I don't think it's that great. It wasn't too useful when I ran Abomination Vaults either. Power attack is fine, does exactly what is written on the tin.
I had a fighter with snagging strike and a gunslinger with fake out in one party, turned out to be more interactive and engaging than double slicing,

I believe there's a Whispering Tyrant that needs some neck splitting not that far of Belkzen
I'm tentatively hopeful about their approach to shields. Having more variety when focusing on shield blocking won't hurt.
