Sorry for slowness on my side. Ended up with less availability during a work trip than I thought. I'll try to post later tonight or ASAP tomorrow.
@GM Cody: what does that white outline around the fortress signify? I'm wondering if we can rush northeast into the fortress and ignore the huge gator for now.

Stom surveys the approaches to the fortress. "Stealth might not be possible, unless we can put out a few fires without being noticed." He flexes his grip on his axe. "My blade is ready!"

Back from vacation. Slowly catching up on my games today. Or tomorrow if I run out of time.
Stom doesn't have much to prep besides making sure he has his weapon handy. "Anyone need to rest, or buy something, or learn some new spells before we attack the fortress?"
Stom agrees with Lyra and Samael that carrying a bunch of explosives to the next pillar is not a good idea, but doesn't try to dissuade Oppa from his plan with Doxie. "Let's hope a flame arrow doesn't come Doxie's way, aye?" At the next pillar, Stom stays a decent ways back as Samael scouts ahead. "Lyra, can you still see Samael? He blends in so well and moves to quietly, that I nearly lose track him and I know he is there."
Heads up: taking a family vacation starting Wednesday and back next Monday. I will be mostly unavailable throughout.
Stom stares at the second Pendergrast brother that they've come across. Once the odd fellow is a good distance away, Stom mutters to no one in particular. "Half-wits the both of them." After complaining for a few more moments, Stom turns back to the temple. "I wonder what we can learn about this place."
Stom stays well away from this conversation. He mutters under his breath "I shouldn't be surprised that brother is a fool, too."
Stom quickly advances towards the man. "Stop now! Let's talk before you light the gunpowder."
Stom looks over the temple from afar to see if he can figure anything out about it. Then, he keeps a close eye on the group's surroundings. "I'll keep an eye on our flanks to make sure we aren't ambushed. Bloody cultists are likely here somewhere." RK w/ Religion(?):

Stom nods to the others. "Apologizes in advance if I make too much noise leaving." Stom tries his best to stay quiet while leaving the area.
For Stom's shopping, he is pretty good on miscellaneous equipment so he get his maul upgraded for a different damage type. +1 rune: 35gp

The inventory sheet shows 4,057gp being sold. Split five ways is ~811gp. I did notice that someone added a calculation for splitting the proceedings in 5.5 ways. Not sure why the half is there.

It's been a busy couple of days recently. I'll take a look at Stom's equipment tonight hopefully.
When Lyra finishes her description of the group's recent adventures, Stom adds his keen insight in their future endeavors. "And, after a good rest here, we'll be ready to journey back out into the jungle and finish the job. Straightforward enough, just need to hit them before they hit us. So, more of the same, really."
"Well, we're still in one piece so that's something. We toppled a bunch of odd magic totems and fought a bunch of cultists. My back is hurting from all the loot we're lugging around. I'm sure the others are tired as well. The others know more about the magics at play." After providing that eloquent rundown, Stom steps to the side to let the others speak and he drops his laden backpack to rest for a bit.
Stom thanks Chioma for their blessing and wishes them luck on their urgent task. "We haven't been back to the village in quite some time. The Ekujae should know that we're still kicking. Plus, my back is tired from carrying all this loot!"
Agreed with Oppa. Let's head back to the village and do some loot selling!
Not always a pious person, Stom kneels reverently near the angel and bows his head. "We are glad to help one of heaven's heroes. Your aid is certainly not required here, but I'd gladly receive your blessing if given." Stom looks back at Chioma with calm yet serious look, pausing to hear the angel's answer. He also considers what type of angel this is.
Stom swings low at the kishi, hoping to take out its legs. Then, he swings again with an overhead chop down. ◆◆ Slam Down
I assume so, but that's solely because Courageous Anthem works that way.
BTW: Looks like @Samael's rolls didn't account for the bonuses from the orcs.
Not exactly prepared for a fight to break out, Stom draws his large axe from its sheath and rushes angrily rushes across the stream. "Blazing creek in the way! When he finally reaches the kishi, he skids to a stop and slashes at the trickster. ◇ Rage
Stom tries to reason with the man. "You are clearly lying about something. Plus, you are severely outnumbered. If it comes to a fight, you don't stand much of a chance. Speak true, and that can be avoided."
Been busy with kids home on spring break. Gonna catch up here ASAP.
Perhaps because of recent interactions with the Gerhard, Stom becomes quite suspicious of this stranger. "Something ain't adding up here, mister. The Ekujae tribe sent us deeper into the jungle to handle a problem that they aren't able to. Tell me, why aren't you struggling like the rest of the tribe?"

"Odd to see blood from a celestial type creature. Fey in the jungle is less surprising, I'd say. Perhaps, this kishi came across both of these creatures somehow. I say we track the blood trail." Perception check:
Stom waves farewell to the thief. "Two birds, one stone. Got another pillar down and sent that swindler on their way." he mutters to the group. After the group has an opportunity to catch their breath, Stom looks at the map. "The kishi next then? Then the final two pillars."
Stom grunts as he helps to move the pillar. "Quite a find you found Gerhert. And to come across able adventurers to help. Such luck you have!"
Noticing that Samael is attempting to actually disable the pillar, Stom moves to help push the pillar but makes sure to stand between Gerhard and Samael, hopefully making it hard for Gerhard to see what's going on.
Stom pauses and glances at the other party members to see who wants to take the lead on this one. Stom clearly does not.
Stom introduces himself to the stranger. "The name is Stom Flintheart, from Highhelm. Both of us are long way from home it seems!" Upon noticing the human stone statues, Stom tries to understand if they were Gerhard's companions. "This is an odd place for stone decorations. Do you have any idea how these statues came to be in the jungle?" Stom is hard-pressed to hide his surprise when Gerhard removes the tarp to show one of the pillars the group has been searching for. Stom was nearly about to disclose the group's current search for these pillars, but Lyra's whisper stops him. He whispers back to Lyra. "How do you want to handle this?"
Do the PCs know if pillars must be fully destroyed to be removed from the situation? Or, just pushed over?
Stom isn't sure what to make of the stranger and suggests one of the others talk to them. "Hard to tell if that one is friendly or not. Someone should talk for us, and it shan't be me!"
"We have enough food to last a bit longer now, so I say we keep hunting those blasted dragon pillars and find the kishi on the way." Stom examines the map and points to A7 as their next destination. "That tower north and west of us seems like the next place."
With Lyra disclosing their involvement with the Ekujae, Stom feels more willing to be open with the orcs.
"Perhaps, if we hunt down this kishi together, that would help convince the Ekujae that they can coexist alongside you. Just as dwarf and orc have learned to do in some parts, despite our pasts. Where were the last tracks you spotted?" Turning to the party, Stom shrugs. "We can help, right?
Stom ponders if he knows what the kishi are.
"Never heard of a kishi before, but might be dangerous to hurt your kin so." When the conversation turns to the Ekujae, Stom isn't sure if he should divulge the party's connection to the elf tribe. "Many peoples are protective of their lands. Have you quarreled with them in the past?"

Stom doesn't know enough about this huge bird to add anything. "If we are in agreement to scout the camp, then shall I lead the way? Or, Samael, will you try going in quietly?"
