There does not seem to be an option to change the address within the order itself, only to attempt an alternative payment method. Can this order be processed using my new address, please? Keith Richmond wrote: I'd certainly like feedback on Good with Ketchup and how it went, though. Putting in a barrier henchman that evoked a strafing run by a dragon was certainly a possibility, but I tend to think of OP as a great place to experiment with wackier options. I was part of a convention this last weekend that had one table go through "Good with Ketchup". I noted that, in the case of 2, 3 or 6 players, you're always going to have the same person encounter the dragon. My poor Meliski was the designated dragon fodder. You will also be granted additional turns, over and above the 30 turns normally associated with the Blessings deck. Spoiler:
RAW, once you encounter Black Fang, you place him five spaces down. I question whether the intent was that you then flip the next Blessing from the pile (which wasn't indicated in the scenario rules)- hence the following sequences occurring: 2 players:

Lesath pulls an Infinite Rod from the location; Vika's mouth starts watering. Lesath doesn't have the Melee, Arcane, or Divine trait. The chance to make a DC 13 Strength check isn't possible (there's only 1 Blessing available). She does have the Emerald of Dexterity in hand, so he could use his Dexterity Die (d10). Through the five adventures, he has all three checks marked. Question 1: After using the Emerald of Dexterity, would he use the die (d10), or die plus checks (d10+3)? Question 2: As he has now made it a Dex Die check, would that additional Blessing now use that Dex die (d10), or his base Strength die (d6)? Question 3: Let's say he has the Mythic Trickster path (Dex and Intelligence)- would he be able to Mythic Charge it to convert one of the d10s to a d20? Yeah, I know that Champion would work better for him, but I was looking for a card image as I don't have my class decks and/or the box at work...the questions are based off of the examples given, rather than what we actually have in play. -- S.

This thread has me thinking of the possibly creating a Convention schedule and fill it with Grandmaster Torch 'goodness'. Or, even have it where every table on a Saturday 8 am time slot (example) is handed out by the same NPC VC. Has someone created a master list of each scenario, who the VC is and/or interesting NPCs who may pop in? Example: Spoiler:
Scenario 7-05, School of Spirits, would have both Drandle Dreng, who hands out the mission, as well as Colson Maldris, who makes an appearance before the end of the scenario. Or, have I just given myself homework? ;) -- Steve

My (humble) suggestions to being able to run scenarios in loud rooms for an extended convention (GenCon, I'm thinking of you...): a) There are times that I take the extra prep time to print the Mission Introduction for handout at the start. Not only does this help the players 'hear' you as you read along, but it's also a nice thing for the players after 3+ hours in the same chair who are thinking, "What is it we were supposed to do again?" b) Knowledge or Geography rolls? Print them, then cut them and hand them to the players. That's supposed to be something the character knows, not necessarily the table. Another thing to save the voice. c) Doing the same with the mission summary, conclusion, and primary/secondary conditions gives your players something to read while you fill out Chronicle sheets. And it saves your voice for the slots you have upcoming. d) Having flip mats and map packs to lay out, or having your maps pre-printed: the sooner you're out of the noisy room, the easier it can be. e) I use a magnet board (from a company no longer active) to track initiatives. I also cheated and got a small easel used for those 8 by 10 desk pictures. I don't see initiative, but the players DO- that speeds up the game if they know when it's their turn to go. f) As I mentioned above, I can (and do) use cough drops. Even as a preventative measure. Anything to keep the vocal cords from closing up. g) 'Alternative' voices may help paint the picture, but they're hell on the vocal cords. I did Holgarin Smine for 7-02: Six Seconds to Midnight during GenCon for the first three slots; I didn't do him the final two, as I was forcing the issue. h) For those soft-spoken players, I have no problem leaving my (throne) chair and walking up to the player in question. Saves on your Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 15 check to see if you can hear them.

I will not allow 'true' digital dice; I've had them in the past, and the ones I have observed and tested don't pass the CHI Square test. I *will* allow the physical d20s which light up; then again, I have a legally blind player who makes it to a few of my conventions that uses HeroLab on an iPad, a magnifying glass to read his iPad, and and that 'electronic' d20. -- S.

Currently I am playing a Cleric (Tarlin) with a hand size of 6. Should the barrier not be defeated, I would draw and discard 6 cards directly from my deck. Should I defeat the barrier (as I chose Mythic Guardian for him, Divine 17 isn't exactly to Tarlin's strengths- I would need a Blessing for 2d8 and have to hope for a 13+ on those two dice)- I would draw and discard 3 cards from my deck. Remember the Encountering a Card section:

Quick question- and one I've been thinking of doing as a PFS GM, and wanted others' opinions on... Back when I used to run 2.0 / 3.0 / 3.5, I used to take the various AC modifiers ('Normal' AC, Flat-Footed, Touch) and hit points down on my notes, then roll to hit and applied damage appropriately. The players never really knew how many hit points they were from maximum "exactly", but I'd give descriptive comments such as "You've got a rather serious leg cramp, and your head feels like you've been on a 3-day bender. You're not entirely sure you can take another hit like that." From a storytelling aspect, it really minimizes the "Oh, I've taken 41 of my maximum 59 hit points through two hits" metagaming I have been seeing (or, perhaps just more observant to) after running 99 sessions/4 specials. I'm also a player that, when I take a hit that puts me into negs, I lay my figure down on the play mat, turn my character sheet over, and when someone asks me how badly I'm hurt I say "I'm unconscious, so I really can't answer you." Gentle request here. I have a player coming from Colorado to Milwaukee WI and will be joining us at our Organized Play Adventure Card Game on December 23rd. We are currently battling the Demonic forces in Season 1, and have just succeeded (after much gnashing of teeth) in defeating the Defiled One (1-4B: With a Bit of a Mind Flip). Our party consists of Lem (Bard), Kyra (Cleric), Sajan (Monk), Seelah (Paladin), and Seoni (Sorcerer), that would theoretically leave him with choices of Fighter/Valeros, Ranger/Harsk, Rogue/Merisiel, or Wizard/Ezren if we do a special dip into OP scenario 1-5A: Dryad Dust so he could play the level 5 PreGen. My Druid class deck has shipped from Paizo's warehouses. On review, I noticed that there hasn't been a Pregen release of Druid, Monk, or Paladin as of yet (at least, not that I've found anywhere.) As long as I am requesting these, is there any way to combine things when it comes to the characters? For example, I have separate downloads for the Character Sheets, then another for the Monk deck list, and the pre-gens would theoretically be a third download I would have to find. Only the Monk Deck List is located on the Product page; there is no download for the Community Use Package: Pathfinder Adventure Card Game Character Sheets (had to find that elsewhere). -- Steve

Playing through Season of the Righteous right now with a WotR Seelah. Have some questions on the Loot acquisition here. Although this is a character going through the Adventure Card Guild season instead of the Wrath of the Righteous base set, this question has significance in the base set, also (where the same loots are acquired and redeemed.) [WotR] Seelah has the following Power:
Spoiler:
When you acquire a boon that has the Corrupted trait, bury it. As my Seelah has played through the following scenarios: ---- 1-2C: Into the Woods Spoiler:
For the rest of the Adventure Path, when setting up each scenario, 1 character may temporarily replace a weapon in her deck with the loot Soulshear. At the end of each scenario, return the loot to the game box. ---- 1-2E: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum: Spoiler:
You may redeem 1 loot card that a reward has allowed you to temporarily add to your deck and that is listed on the Redemption card. ---- Before I completed 1-2E, could my Seelah have theoretically equipped Soulshear? Building Your Deck is not part of acquiring a boon, but is 'outside' the game. I ask this now as there will be other Corrupted loots out there for the remainder of the adventure path. ---- Soulshear: Spoiler:
Type: Weapon * Polearm * Melee * Slashing * 2-Handed * Magic * Corrupted. Loot 2.
For your combat check, reveal this card to use your Strength or Melee skill + 1d10 + 4. If not proficient with weapons, the difficulty of this check is increased by 4. If you fail this check, you may discard this card to reroll the dice; take the new result. If you reroll the dice and this card has the Corrupted trait, roll 1d12; on a 1, summon and defeat this adventure's servitor demon or shuffle Soulshear into your location deck. ---- Thanks for your time. -- S.

Created a #-5 Witch and played it for two scenarios, thinking "Hexes? Sure, I'll give it a go." Third and final scenario in was 6-01: Trial by Machine. The only function my witch had was to open doors. The rest of the party would ready actions, I would hit the door button, and then sit back and watch the rest of them go. I got full prestige and gold for being the party's doorman. I've not run that one since playing- to relive that experience would just be too painful. -- S.

Keith, as you note that it reads "For the rest of the Adventure Path" - which would somehow indicate to me that, should you play 1-2B and 1-2C (where you get Soulshear with a successful completion), you wouldn't be able to use Soulshear if you go back to 1-2A. Our play session last night:
Spoiler:
So- Seoni (the Tier-1 character who completed Adv 2, but had yet to play Adv 1), Sajan (WotR version) (my character, with the Temple Sword from Pathfinder Battles: Iconic Heroes Set #1), and Kyra (VL Dan Ziermann, Milwaukee) All ROFLStomped through Crusader's Assemble! and Ladies Who Lunch. Seoni never swapped for any of the boons gained from those Tier-2 adventures she completed. Following those two adventures from Tier 1, we then went to 1-2A: The Frogs, with Dan switching out his Kyra for his Tontelizi (who had yet to get that particular scenario, and needed it to complete War for the Worldwound). The final check against Gangrel Fiendsplicer (random monster pull, DC:10) was 56 or 57. I know I'm only 6 scenarios in, but I'm rather impressed with Sajan's combat ability; recharging a blessing with the IH-Temple Sword turned it into a d12+d10+d8, +1 from Dex skill selection, +4 from slashing, +1 from weapon, +2 from Mythic Charges. (I don't have the card in front of me- work frowns on me bringing in a card game- but if it's based off of Acrobatics, that would be an additional +3. Simply sick.)

Rebel, the player has not played any of Adventure 1. His first scenario was 1-2A. He also did not decide to advance after 4 scenarios (1-2D), so he was still tier 1 entering 1-2E. Once he completed 1-2E, he auto-advanced to Tier 2. The player that I'm questioning about hasn't done any of Adventure 1 and wants the extra Skill feat from completing the entire Adventure. Meanwhile my Monk needs 2 more scenarios, another player needs the same two scenarios on an alternate character. It's all good. :) -- Steve
