DM Ollibolli:
Spoiler: Nice. Thanks. Now I don't have to search food myself. Stergan thinks, while getting the fruits thrown at him. After he ate some of the fruits that weren't rotten he takes another look out for Cauldron, marks the direction in his mind, climbs down the tree and walks towards the city.

DM Ollibolli:
Spoiler: Perception+5 rolled in Paizo chat under observation of DM: 1d20+5=25 Stergan looks around to make out the source of the silence, when he hears voices, and not those of his thought inside his head. Not understanding a word but making out that the voices belong to someone speaking orcish, he decides that he is better off staying on the tree, if not climbing further up.

DM:
Spoiler: Rain. Good. I could use a bit of luck here as well. Stergan thinks. Here is to hope that the water will wash down my appetizing smell and leave that beast trackless. Too bad I can't see a thing in it too. Stumbling through the jungle Stergan searches for an decent tree to climb. He will wait and rest for the rain to stop or at least diminish, then search for the right direction again. After climbing back down he again will search for fruits or other easy food, while heading to Cauldron.

I won't be safe on here. Those baboons surely know how to climb.
Damn you Stergan! That was no pleasant time! Be gratefull to have escaped! Now get your sorry ass moving. Find something to eat. Keep on your feet. And get to Cauldron!! With that thoughts he takes a few of his surroundings, hoping to find something edible nearby. Then he carefully descends to the junglefloor, keeping the direction of Cauldron in mind.

Hey Guys, Kayos. Sorry for coming in late, well, some of you know the reason. (We lost. somewhat. No total loss, but a loss nonetheless. Ask me in the chat for details, when I am online, if you whish.) So, I will take this Alias for posting in the game, but have to change it first, build character and so forth. I hope I get that done until Monday, but I can't promise. Olli: Thanks for letting me play the Defender.
I'll go for a human as race. Starting gold: Defender states 1d4x10vp (value points). Shall I go with Monk starting gold, or search for the info how much a vp is in gp? Franz Lunzer
Male Half-Elf Defender 1
Some miles south of Sandpoint a lonesome human in scale mail drags a backpack, a tent and some other equipment along the Lost Coast Road, his heavy warhammer over his right shoulder.
The humans feet are surrounded by sky-blue sandals, even though he wears heavy boots under those sandals. They seem kind of out of place, surrounding his boots, without any visible support. Every now and then the human, his name beeing Stergan Rus, turns his head, searching the trees and bushes that surround the path he walks along. He even jerks, if he hears the sound of a wild animal, breaking a branch or slipping through a bush. "Shall I make a rest for today? It's getting dark already..." he asks in the direction of the spark. The spark flickers with his internal light, as if shruging with shoulder's that it has not.
Stergan set's down his backpack, tent, shield, his warhammer and everything else, but won't take of his armor. He doesn't set up his tent, only wrapping himself in his bedroll.
Without further introduction: Stergan Rus
Background:
Spoiler: Stergan is on a trip most young skarn go on, once they get the proper age: to proof himself to his family and show strength to their enemies. His parents taught him to obey the rules of law and order, even if that meant to accuse one of his closest friends, Adra Wylle, of stealing and lying, bringing her to the towns judges, which exiled Adra from the Skarn homelands. He came all the way to Varisia to find that proof in form of trophys, be them scars, bones of monsters, great wealth, or even an exclusive contract with a trading house. What he did not tell his parents was, that he was searching for Adra, who always had spoken of her dreams to travel to Riddleport. Stergan knew that his parents knew of Adra's plans, which lead him to take a ship to Magnimar instead. (I placed the skarn homelands far off the shore of Varisia, hope this is okay for you.) His ship landing in Magnimar, he was forced to go out to Sandpoint for he had not met much success in his task. He wanted to get to Riddleport as fast as possible, but without the money to buy him a place on a ship sailing up the coast and not wanting to be part of a crew he had to take a horse.
Two days later Stergan reached Sandpoint pleased, for it was a larger city, where it should be not so easy for the thieves hunting him to kill him openly. Plus, maybe he would find someone who would help him to get the thieves judged and imprisoned or whatever the sentence is according to the local law. |
