I don't think i've ever posted to a message board before! I don't really know where to begin. First off, I've been gaming for a long time (26 years) and I've gotten more enjoyment and met more great people doing it than anything else i've ever done. This makes me feel compelled to say to the late E.G.G. and company thank you more than you'll ever know for more things than i can possibly say in a million words or less. Second, thank you to all the hard working creative people at Paizo for making great products and keeping the game alive! Third, thank you to all the wonderful people i've gamed with over the years especially those who've run great games at all the cons i've attended (for little or no thanks, i'd imagine).
Just wanted to finally get around to posting instead of just reading what eveyone else has to say.
I do have a couple of questions too.
1. What's the best way to find a game in my area? (Washington,PA) I'm getting tired of not playing!
2. Being a neurotic completist with limited funds (i know, "join the club") if i join the subscription plan through paizo am i corrcet in understanding it only applies to new products? I have a good amount of older stuff but i want it all you see!
3. How do the play by post games work? I don't know if these are a good option for me but i'd like to learn more about them.
4. I see on the website store some "get it b4 it's gone stuff." Some of it seems like product i'd consider "core" material for pathfinder/golarion (racial guidebooks for example). Are things like that seriously going out of print forever? It would kind of stink for those of us who just haven't been able to pick up everything we'd like to have for our collection. Is it perhaps the case that it will be released again in a different/updated format later?
I guess that's all for now until i can better collect my thoughts.
