I think the choices for where to go were both potentially interesting, but the rewards were vastly different in value.
I think the better option would have been a lesser boon on each mission and put the race recruitment on the King Xeros itself.
I also have to ageree with some of the others about the final battle, it felt very underpowered for a final combat. We took out the two guards before the first round was over and the boss by the end of the second round. Even in 10ft squares it felt confined.
