So a barbarian wielding a lance with the ferocious mount and pounce powers, riding a pouncing eidolon of death.

They shall bring the world to its knees!

Thank you for the reply Gilarius.

It was not my intent to actually create and use said combo during play.
I was just attempting to pass the time creating a hypothetical duo besides the typical flanking buddies/ teamwork feats. And was wondering if there were any established rules on what actions were usable by mounts.

Imagine the fused eidolon as similar to a wolf or riding dog, and the rider being small for sake of being possible before access to the Large evolution.

Is it possible by the rules to create a melee synthesist summoner built to be used as a mount by another character with the appropriate mounted combat feats?

Would the summoner lose most of their natural attacks while being mounted and become basically a taxi?

Could they still cast spells?

When you use a scroll to write into your spellbook, if you succeed on the check the scroll is used. If you fail you still have the scroll, and can try again to write it in your spellbook when you get another rank in spellcraft.

Darkness doesn't work the same in pathfinder.
