Soru says nothing, the order did not matter to him. He keeps an eye out while the others speak. Prepared for anything, he made a mental note to take care of how many chimes were used. As well as the others supply of potions, should they die before a potion could be used he would be sure to retrieve it.

As a bard you don't need to use your UMD skill for a wand of cure light wounds.

Sadly the place Soru has his eyes on will ensure violence is needed. Some groups just can't be reasoned with, he would not be planning a take over from them if they could. He will bring order to such wonton chaos and dishonor. Guessed his target district yet? ;)

Aeryn has two goals, but they are linked - the immediate one is to take over the local brothels and turn them into defacto places of worship for Calistria. It is his belief that, if he can satisfy Calistria's lusts, he will find her willing to overlook his sin of loving another, and allow him to find that love again. The latter, obviously, is his primary goal.

So I guess he has his eye on taking over the Hospice district. You know there is already a temple of Calistria there. Also two powers you don't want to mess with lightly. Elias Sayer and his Tallow Boys as well as Rosaline Merithaine and her many connections.

Yes I read up on the city a lot so sue me. I got my own take over plans you know. xP

Soru moves forward, hand still on his nodachi.

He prepares to strike anything that comes with in range that is hostile.

Soru is a good ally and better friend, the trick is getting him to be ether. Sneaking up on him or taking him by surprise is never going to help. Not a jerk by nature just current circumstance if that's what it is being taken as. ;)

Anyways who is planning what? Spare no dirty details. Or am I the only one with future plans and goals for fair Kaer Maga and Soru. Not that I expect half of them to ever happen. xP

I can post during my waking hours but I tend to wait until I have access to a computer. I can post from my phone if need be so if it is combat I won't wait so not to slow things down.

Btw Soru is a bit of a hard a$$ until he is given a reason to respect someone if not presented off the bat.

Keeping his hand on his nodachi he steps forward towards the crypts. As far as he was concerned it was a leech at best and thief at worst. He held no kindness for ether.

Soru places a hand on his nodachi. Those nearby get the sense that it would be bad if he drew it.

"Why should we work with someone who hides in the shadows and speaks in our mind unbidden. Your actions speak only of deceit and cowardice as such your words mean nothing."

Soru looks over the woman carefully, taking her measure.

After the other man speaks he does as well.

A man wearing exotic armor, even for Kaer Maga, stops before the structure. A very long two handed sword with a four foot blade rest at his hip, along side it a short slender blade, on one of his arms a small shield, and sticking up from his back a pair of thin throwing spears. Clearly dressed for combat and if his easy baring is any indication despite his compact build. He is more then capable of it. The gold should be worth the work, priest should pay well. There healing should be free if needed, it is shameful enough they are unable to do their duty themselves.

My suggestion is play off his actions rather then words. To me it was not the plain speaking android (data anyone) that made me think of emotionless beings. More it was the utter lack of reaction to stimulation and almost obliviousness of morality. Kicking someone burning alive in front of you and laughing is evil. Kicking someone burning alive out of your way without a glance and moving on like it was a stroll in the park is emotionless. Just my opinion, its a hard character to play to me. Hope that helps a little.

Being emotionless does not mean you have to speak like a sci fi robot. Just saying your a little hard to follow. My int stat is only 12. ;-)

Oh I am sure none of us would ideally pick the district we are in now. But hey until we start making some real money, beggars can't be choosers. x3

Speaking of districts which one would everyone live in?

As far as Soru goes. I don't think he has the means to live in any district but the warrens or the bottoms. He would be more comfortable in the bottoms and would fit him best at this time. Does not hurt that a lot of the cities blacksmiths make their home there too. ;)

Soru was raised by a ghost in Minata. So he does not mind undead, more dependent on your personality then condition. ;)

A Lich does not need to feed on anything so among the undead they would be easier to get along with. No need to worry about him getting hungry around you.

Yeah Soru is not above creating his own gang and taking over a district. If Kaer Maga is to be his home he should make it comfortable. More in mind then just new drapes you know. ;3

So any ideas how so and so met? Soru makes money by being a sellsword so I could see him crossing paths with Krixus and Roman. But Herrnarrel, Aeryn, and Shathash would run in different circles I would think.

Yeah we may want to get our story of how we met each other down. Sense we are such a motley crew. :D

Alright I will have something for you later today in more detail.

If there is still room I am thinking of a sword saint. Wanted to ask before I started building, plus wanted to know if a katana is considered a finesse able weapon sense that would effect a good deal.
