No--I slow-leveled last floor, so I'm currently at L4 1/2. If I take this one slow I'll be L5/L6/L7/L8/L9 for the next five levels, and if I don't I'll be L5 1/2, etc. No actual difference in level.

Cool! I vaguely remembered hearing about the change, but wasn't sure. It's pretty much academic, as either way we'll be the same level. (Though if I take the half-level now, I'll be out 2400 gp instead of 7400 gp. Hmmm.)

According to the advice in the sanctioned content key, we should take this one at Slow advancement. Since we took Slow advancement for Godhome, AIUI we have to take it for the Drowned Level as well--we can only change advancement rates at a level break. That said, if not for the change at a break issue we'd be fine with normal advancement for the next several levels.
