I haven't played Soro in some time (refugee from a PFS Emerald Spire game that ended early), and when I pulled his chronicles together I found that he was 5th level. Since there are openings in the T5-6 table, I don't think I can play Soro at this table.

No--I slow-leveled last floor, so I'm currently at L4 1/2. If I take this one slow I'll be L5/L6/L7/L8/L9 for the next five levels, and if I don't I'll be L5 1/2, etc. No actual difference in level.

Cool! I vaguely remembered hearing about the change, but wasn't sure. It's pretty much academic, as either way we'll be the same level. (Though if I take the half-level now, I'll be out 2400 gp instead of 7400 gp. Hmmm.)

According to the advice in the sanctioned content key, we should take this one at Slow advancement. Since we took Slow advancement for Godhome, AIUI we have to take it for the Drowned Level as well--we can only change advancement rates at a level break.

That said, if not for the change at a break issue we'd be fine with normal advancement for the next several levels.

I'd prefer going on hiatus, and letting Tek pick it back up when he has more time. (Speaking selfishly, I'd like him to concentrate on playing in EF's Shattered Star game, which is well into Part 6, and on playing in my Emerald Spire game.)

Zcha'zcha has good timing--before the ward, his AC was 20, so without the ward it would have hit him for lots of damage *and* grabbed him.

The first blow is stopped by the ring of protection +1 that Soro got from the undine (but that I'd forgotten to update his character profile for), but the second slam gets past the oread's defenses. He returns the favor with a low growl of anger.
