Have we been waiting for something?

For a while, Solmira does little, drifting through the air of her room. She's curled up into a ball, hugging her legs - her body - to herself as he unconsciously bombards the nearby area with mixed and otherwise unpleasant feelings. Any other time, she could have remained like that for a long time indeed.
But she had appearances to keep up.
Something that would only be harder with her broadcasting her every sentiment to the world around her.

"Lryudel Ypocc..."
She really needed to get that under control.

_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/

Sorrel would find Solmira floating in the air outside, much of her skin exposed to the sun. From the palm of each hand came a coursing tendril of light as she tried to work her control of her powers. She had no idea what this might be useful for, if at all, and each one barely reached past her wrists as she tried to coil them around her arms...but it was a start. Certainly better than what she could manage before.

She spots Ricardo, and comes back to the ground, briefly doing so a little too quickly to be controlled before focus returns to her features and she steadies herself. "No need to worry. Just a brief episode. What is it, Ricardo?"
She flushes slightly as he elaborates, a pang of something passing through the air. "Oh. You...recall that. Yes." She clears her throat, taking the goggles in hand and looking them over as she regains her composure. "I had asked for something more disposable..." A brief sensation of floating passes through Sorrel's mind. "...but in light of events, this is better than what I had in mind then." Continuing to look the m over, she seems deep in focus. "Yes...ys, I know what I could do with these." There's new confidence in her voice as she looks back to Ricardo. "I could easily make something for your purposes. It would be simple. But without taking the chance to examine just what is happening...and acquiring less feeble materials, or figuring out how to make these last...it will be harder to make a solution that will operate long term."
It would be hard, but...perhaps it was what she needed. "No matter. If greater minds and superior sciences could not find a solution, naught will. It shall be done." She owed it to him, and he needed it besides.
There was absolutely no other reason that she was so resolute over this.

She pulls up her communicator as the message comes, and he can feel so much as see the confusion. "Ricardo...are grubs some sort of delicacy in this region? I hadn't thought many found them desireable as a foodstuff."

Solmira seems to shrink inward at Mirror's words. She wasn't just some alien. She was her. But they didn't care.
The scenario was uncomfortably familiar.
She looks over with surprise as Michael speaks up for her, and while her face remains frozen, there's a brief wave of happiness that washes over everyone nearby.

Outside, there's another shot of happiness as Sorrel speaks up, with a little hint of something else. "Thank you, Ricardo...I appreciate the sentiment." Her lips curl upward, slightly. "All this...putting everyone in this position, being stranded outside of myself...I can't say I had been expecting a rebuke for actions the very speaker told me to undertake, either. But...no matter."
Solmira smiles warmly, at Ricardo, and at Michael in turn. "I am glad to have your support...especially so soon after..." Her mind turns to when she broke down. "...that. I hope I won't be so grating in future."

Clearing Insecure.

She hears Tox and Quentin call to chase down the runaway villains, and a nervous look spreads across her features. "I-I realise we shall need to handle them eventually, but...may we at least have some time to ourselves, first? We've only just returned to our own bodies..." She swallows. [b]"We've not had a proper moment to celebrate our victories, either...that...that is what you are meant to do after a success, no?"

There we go...back to the old image.
Though why on earth they got rid of the search function, I have no idea.

It hurt, it agonised her every sense, but Solmira did not care. When her vision returned, she looked over herself, and found herself overjoyed when she was herself this time. She found herself taking stuttering breaths as the stress of the whole event finds itself relieved with the return to her body, half sobbing and half laughing with a relieved smile on her face.
Only for all that to come with a grinding halt with Mirror's next words.
Guilt and distress starts to permeate the air from there as Solmira looks over to Mirror. "I-It was no fault of theirs. I caused this. I was overzealous in use of newly gained powers, and did not even give them the chance to object."
Solmira seems almost eager to take the blame.

SolMichael goes and takes a seat the very moment Mirror's instructions are finished, showing little to no concern about the needle-filled setup as she simply sits around in Michael's body with his hands on his lap, and a sullen look on his face.

Female Outsider | Danger 0 | Freak 0 | Saviour 2 | Superior 0 | Mundane 1 | Afraid, Guilty | ○●Potential●○ --- ●○○○○ | 2 Advancements | Current Advice: Trust and depend on others, and let them know about me

SolMichael looks down on...not her body. "I suppose that means I shall be alright as I am." She said 'I', but she couldn't call this her.
He looks over to MiraChael. That was her. Her body. Her mind within, overtaken by Michael's thoughts. She wanted it back.

She looks on with astonishment as Tox removes his mask...and a little nerves from the fact he was doing so with Sorrel's body. Still, nothing happens, and she's left to look between the two. "...I shall say nothing."

SolMichael leaves, and waits outside the building, putting on an act of being Michael for all around. Anything to avoid focusing on the dissonance she felt.
As everyone else comes out, she comes along, maintaining the facade as they head to see Mirror.
...this has to work. I need it back.
I can't stay like this.

As I remember, you can willingly hand out influence whenever you like.

Also...not to ruin the moment, but is our first sight of Tox's face going to be with QuenTox stuffed full of hallucinogens from the contact?

There's a look of surprise on Michael's face as SolMichael walks in to find Quen...no, Ricardo present.
She shouldn't have gotten confused like that. She knew the situation...she'd created it, even...
...she wanted to have her body back. This brain didn't feel right, and the body moved wro-
SolMichael stumbles.
She would not miss losing her balance over thinking about basic bodily functions.

For a moment, her gaze lingers on Quentin's body, a somewhat hurt look in Michael's eyes, before looking away to address the body that actually had Quentin in it. "We should see aid from Mirror...either they shall enlist Gryphalcon to correct this, or personally direct Michael in doing so if that is not an option."
With nobody watching who was unaware of the situation, any pretence of appearing to be Michael drops, leaving her to act withdrawn and uncomfortable. She wraps her arms around herself, just to then remove them from herself and look at them as she remembers they weren't actually hers. She turns over Michael's hands as she looks them, before letting his arms fall, looking more uncomfortable than ever.
"...I just want this to be over."

SolMichael draws closer as she sees her body pull away and start putting in inputs on the comm. "What are you..."
Dots. On a map.
Slow as Michael's brain felt to her, it was more than enough to realise what she was looking at. The fact he had a means of finding her didn't bother her too much...more so the implications of what else he might have access to. She looks into her own eyes with a piercing gaze, a desire for answers clear in Michael's eyes.
But she doesn't say anything yet.

She tracks the comm as it rockets about on the display. "Unless Quentin has some new powers, he doesn't have his comm any more." She steps away, seeming less open than before. "Let's meet up with the others. Plan things out."
Trying not to think about walking, she heads for the common room.

By the time SolMichael gets to the Institute, she's frustrated.
First, as she's following after Michael as he flies about in her body, she spots him going back the way she came overhead, and has to backtrack.
Which wouldn't be so bad, but Michael's body can't fly.
She then trips three times on the way back to the rest of the group, to find they're just setting off back to the Institute.
But probably the worst bit of it all is the suffering that was transportation.
She really, really wanted her body back. She was no good at being Michael.

As Michael then asks for his communicator, she glares at him briefly for the lack of effort made to try and act like her, but there's nothing behind it. It fades quickly, and she's soon handing him his comm. "Here."
Solmira then finds herself trying very hard to keep a twisted expression off Michael's face.

I'm pretty sure that's the Mobster/whatever guy you and Sorrel got on the bad side of? Local crime lord of some sort.

Elsine wrote:
A dozen people move into your way, most of them armed (two with guns). Quicksilver controls this neighborhood... Leave. the leader says, brandishing a knife. Slam and Hyla seem to be getting into fighting stances, what do you do?

That's from one of Sorrel's prompts, just before the overgrowth incident.

SolMichael brushes herself off now that she's out from under the rubble, and looks around.
...where did Ricardo go?
She frowns, and shakes it off. Got to do as heroes do, got to do as Michael would.

She takes off in the direction Michael left in her body, rummaging around for Michael's communicator before firing a message off.
@Sorrel
Wrong communicator.
@KQ: Where are you? Where did you go?

This felt way to weird. If these were her powers she was feeling, then even they didn't feel right.
She wanted her body back. She desperately wanted it back.
But Michael, Michael would be focusing, he would be helping. Tox was trying to get them out, so if these were the powers she thought they were, she needed to use them now.
"Right." Focus, hope it worked about the same. Tox would be able to get them out just through forcing things with the plants, but it needed a finer touch. SolMichael attempts to ramp up the density a little on their body to give themself more to work with, before focusing on some specific sections of brick to either lighten or become far more breakable while they pushed themselves up as best they could. Just needed the right bricks to move, and the right ones to shatter so that the rest would go the right way.

If all is well, I'm intending to use a team to bump Tox's roll to a 10.

AGH!
That...that hurt! How on earth did Michael deal with being this fragile?
No, no, can't focus on that now. Not hurt enough for that to be important. One of the villains was escaping, and Michael was trying to poorly use her powers to get her and Sorr- no, Tox loose. This wasn't any good. Sound like Michael, sound like Michael..."Sol, use your powers on me, and go help Sorrel! I'll be able to handle this!"

Female Outsider | Danger 0 | Freak 0 | Saviour 2 | Superior 0 | Mundane 1 | Afraid, Guilty | ○●Potential●○ --- ●○○○○ | 2 Advancements | Current Advice: Trust and depend on others, and let them know about me

...what was Michael doing? He didn't sound right. He wasn't acting right. Honestly, his portrayal seemed very much strange.
Well, at the very least, he'd drawn attention away from her. This was not an opportunity she believed he'd miss had he been in his own shoes. Especially since it appeared the hostages had now been taken care of.
Without speaking up, SolMichael slips toward Acerbic, relying on the instincts of Michael's body to translate her intent into a proper, swift attack.

Engage: 2d6 - 2 ⇒ (1, 6) - 2 = 5
It seemed like such a thing worked far better when you were actually Michael, though.

Stat resets would change your total modifier, not to mention buff your danger in this instance. And thaaat doesn't sound right.

Not Photokinesis, but Heliokinesis - it's a much wider field of control. Solmira just ends up going for traditional visible light blasting, but honestly, it's a solid opening to mess with the electromagnetic spectrum overall if you have ideas.

Density Control is currently established as requiring touch. As for applications, punching people is good. I mean, it's a hell of a way to manipulate physics in your favour as far as giving and taking blows. Your blows are nastier, and even if it's decided you aren't more durable, you're definitely harder to move. That, and if you really wanna push it...ever wonder what would happen if you temporarily reduced granite to the density of air?
...for the record, don't do that, you'll probably kill someone.
It'll make a solid barricade if you get it in an entryway. Less effective given Acerbic's presence, but Katannonball would likely have a hard time getting it out of the way.

These aren't hard limits, but using them beyond established limitations is liable to be an Unleash for it to be even possible.

Don't forget - Telepathy comes with Mind Blasts, which directly effect the mind and will screw it the hell up. That's locked in.
Emotional Control is a separate power from Telepathy, albeit one I've only used for flavour. It alters emotional states, rather than communicating one like Telepathy would. I do it to someone, it'd linger beyond when I was nearby - it's basically like if those feelings occurred naturally.

Any hard limits on how your mimicry works? And is there anything I should note about the Impossible Fighting Skills?
...you never really used those. Michael's a lot less reckless than his initial premise.

Not part of this?
That's laughable. Were they planning to give the same excuse if the Paragons had showed up?
...better the Paragons than I. I wish someone else had been free for this....
No, I can't focus on that. What would he do?
Civilians. Focus on the civilians.

Alone, I cannot extract them without dealing with both of these villains. They could be easily caught by stray acid, and Katannonball is too mobile besides to easily get away from like this...assuming I was even able to reach them whilst they're aware of me.
Get Acerbic away into a position where he could more easily be dealt with, before Katannonball takes notice if at all possible.

"Can't really do that. You're causing too many problems." SolMichael keeps a careful eye on Acerbic. She needed to do this right. As long as Acerbic was still here, he was a problem. She didn't know of anything nearby to eliminate him with quickly. Therefore, he cannot be allowed to stay where he was.

Pierce the Mask: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (3, 3) + 1 = 7
How could I get Acerbic to follow me somewhere else?

Female Outsider | Danger 0 | Freak 0 | Saviour 2 | Superior 0 | Mundane 1 | Afraid, Guilty | ○●Potential●○ --- ●○○○○ | 2 Advancements | Current Advice: Trust and depend on others, and let them know about me

It's a solid plan, but there's a bit of a hitch.
When I wrote my last post, I intend to convey one thing - Solmira's fully intent on charging in before everyone else is on the scene, to keep those two from harming people and at least keep them busy till the team arrives.
She told nobody this was her plan. She just said she was headed straight there.
So, ah...sorry about that. Between Conditions and not being in her body,
it's what I thought she'd do.

Her intent here is to do what she thinks Michael would, at least if he was in his own body.

Accepting the shift.

"...I believe I understand what you are saying. I think I know what I shall do. Thank you." SolMichael exits once more, working over the communicator.
Right now, if she was honest, she didn't trust herself to do this. Like this, she had nothing going for her in this scenario. The villains acting up here probably didn't even have anything she could acquire safely...perhaps at all, even if she wished for Katannonball's mobility right now.
But she wasn't herself, right now. Right now, she was Michael. And Michael would do it. Michael would go and save people. That was who she was right now, and that was who she had to reflect. It would reflect poorly on him if she didn't do this.

Let's see...Michael - her - was calling everyone to the garage. Running things through in her head, however...heading there, organising everything, and subsequently moving to location via their usual transportation would take several minutes longer than simply heading to the coordinates directly from where she was. And while those minutes may not be long normally, here, it is a significant interval for others to be harmed in.
The goal was to prevent harm, so the decision was a simple one to make.

Another message arrives to the team's communicators, from Michael's comm.
@Everyone: Already going. Don't take too long.

"This is...why now?" SolMichael looks back at the building she'd not just come out of. She had no confidence in being able to deal with this right now, and she had no idea if they should, anyway. She'd been told not to stay out of trouble, and this would definitely be called trouble, but this was something that was delegated to them and needed to be handled so what should they...?

She sees if she can get back in. She was supposed to rely on everyone else, right? Surely Michael's mentor could provide guidance here?

If she's not stuck outside:
SolMichael tentatively goes back, geo-tagged video prepared for showing and hyper-aware of anything that might blast her.

"E-excuse me? A situation has just developed, and with us as we are...what do we do?"

If she is stuck outside:
It was no use. Help was beyond her right now. She was on her own...
No. Not completely on her own. Someone had to have a good idea, right?

@Everyone: What do we do? What do I do?

Female Outsider | Danger 0 | Freak 0 | Saviour 2 | Superior 0 | Mundane 1 | Afraid, Guilty | ○●Potential●○ --- ●○○○○ | 2 Advancements | Current Advice: Trust and depend on others, and let them know about me

Lios. Not Lois.

SolMichael somehow finds herself even more uncomfortable as the Sorrel's messages come in.

@KQ{Sorrel}: Why?
@KQ{Sorrel}: I don't even know how I would do that.

As she continues to stare at the communicator, the video comes in. "...is this a live feed?" She looks for a sign of whether or not this is a recording of past events.

"...Y-yes. Of course. I'll try to have everyone present by the time you are ready." SolMichael nods at Mirror before making her exit.

Outside, it's not long before she's fretting again. "Now what? What am I supposed to do until...? No, no, focus...I was told to fetch the others. I need to do that first." Fishing out the communicator, she starts typing.

@Michael: Your mentor wants me to fetch everyone. If she can't get a hold of Grey Falcon, she'll be helping you fix this. It's going to take a few hours to do everything, though. Now what?
@Everyone Else: It's Solmira. Not Michael. Managed to get help through Michael, but we need to get everyone together, and it will take a few hours. Is all well?

After sending the messages, she continues to stare at the communicator for a while, her thoughts running as fast as this strange brain will let them.
Everything felt wrong. And she couldn't do a thing about it.

As Mirror went on, SolMichael found herself increasingly uncomfortable, and she started digging Michael's nails into his hands to find that his body was marked far more by the nervous habit.
It didn't stop her from continuing anyway.
"I...u-um...are you familiar with any who claim to come from a planet they call Celdimeravi?"
She sounded wrong. It was nagging at her far more now that this wasn't her voice, and it wasn't even sounding like Michael's. And there was all of this too. "Cfenmehk ypocc uv lryuc, w-what am I supposed to..." Her voice shook as she talked to herself, even her thoughts feeling slow even they raced through her borrowed mind.

"...n-no, she probably wouldn't h-have..." She swallows.
Not So Different After All: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 2) = 7
Describe the glories, and clear Hopeless through that.
"F-far, far away from this p-planet, you will find another. Its people are of o-one mind, its technology is far b-beyond that of this place, and they l-live in h-harmony with nature alongside Envoys of the planet's own will." Unbidden, memories of shimmering structures twined with titanic plant-life come to mind, blending seamlessly to create a beautiful union of nature and technology representative of the ideal of harmony her people held to so deeply. Somehow, it seemed far more wondrous to her now than she'd ever been able to appreciate back home. "Th-that's where my people reside, if you have heard of such a place. They have little interest in o-other planets, outside of those times when they have been attacked. Content to their home planet and its bounty, uninterested in and unwilling to reside any place but their wondrous home..."

Images of her old home flashed by, snapshots of unshakeable union lifting her spirits and reminding her just why she still loved that place, before it came crashing down on her once more why she had never been happy there. "Except for those rare few like I, separated from them by blindness and circumstance..."
For all she felt better than she had, her sense of self-worth still dropped lower and lower, a change only processed as a sinking feeling. "...not that most of that likely matters to you. If you are aware of where I speak of, then that ought to inform you of what to consult. If not...I cannot offer you any designators in the fashion you use here. They simply know themself as Dra Seht...The Mind. It has always been how they have referred to themself."
SolMichael stands there, withering under Mirror's gaze.

I always imagined the note being stashed under the mattress, but checking back, I never actually wrote that, just that I hid it. Huh.

I don't actually remember how much of the staff we've seen, let alone how much of their duties have been established. I'd think power development would probably desperately want a capable null, though. It feels like it'd be the most incident prone of any class, by nature.

SolMichael takes a deep breath, not moving an inch and trying desperately to remain calm - and doing a poor job of it.
"I'm...not Michael. This is his body, but I am not him. I am one of his teammates, Solmira, and I accidentally managed to exchange the minds of my entire team to bodies not their own. Michael is currently in my body, and to be honest, I am absolutely terrified by that fact for reasons innumerable."

SolMichael shrinks in on herself in a distinctly un-Michael like fashion. "...I don't even know how to undo this by myself. All I can do is offer my apologies, try not to cause further problems for Michael or anyone else, and hope you aren't about to do anything to me or Michael's body.
...please keep this a private matter. I don't know what problems spreading these events may cause."

I am not looking forward to this.

By some miracle, SolMichael managed sleep. That was about the best of her luck.

*THUD*
SolMichael picks herself back up, desperately ignoring the gazes of everyone who saw her basically trip on the air. It didn't feel right. They looked right at her, but she herself was invisible. They didn't see her. They couldn't.
And then there was her own body, outside of her command again, only this time she had no idea what was it was doing, what had happened to it, what it looked like, what it was saying, if her people had found it, whether they'd even realise she wasn't in it, oh god what if Michael-
No, no, that's nonsense. They'd know it wasn't me in there, right...? Right?

...her stomach churns as she thinks about what would happen if they only saw her brain, and not its inhabitant. Like before.

She comes to a stop as she realises she's at the destination Michael gave...5 minutes late. S&++. How bad is that? She didn't know.
She goes to the side door. 5723...wait, no, 5273!
The door opens, and SolMichael finds herself shaking involuntarily.
...in I go.

Solmira's Room description (again):
Solmira's room is distinctly plain. For the most part, it's as it was before she moved into it, and lacking in anything indicative of a pastime or subject of interest. In the closet, there's a few outfits, and a small selection of rolled up posters. All of them are relatively new, seemingly bought all at once, a few of each catering to drastically differing tastes and images. There's marks on all of them, wear from being repeatedly put up and taken back down.
On the desks are a few books, written for teenagers and older children. The bedding is set up on the side of the bed, as if she'd been leaned against it. Her usual scarf is cast on the bed instead, dull and transparent now.
SolMichael hurries to Michael's room, shutting herself in quickly as she arrives. There had been a couple of stumbles on the way as her haste made her coordination falter, but unlike those moments she fell in her body, she was able to pick herself up and get moving again.
After having gotten used to being stuck helpless and partially conscious at the times she fell, the clarity and freedom to move was strange and depressing. It just reminded her of the problems she'd brought on herself.

Her focus turns back to Michael's communicator as it goes off again.
@Michael: I don't know. Quentin had said his father knew skilled tellapaths that may be able to help, but I don't know otherwise.
@Michael: As I mention it, who do we let know what happened? We can't not keep it hidden from everyone, can we? That'd be impossible.

In addition to classes focused on power development and refinement, Solmira's taking separate classes to help her get her comprehension of written English up to speed, something which has been kept quiet up to this point.

SolMichael nods. "Good to hear. Guess I can get going then." SolMichael heads to the door. "Night, Mrs. Mulvaney. Sorry for the trouble."

After exiting the room, she walks a bit and waits until she'd expect Michael to have left, before finding where about his person he keeps his communicator and starting it up. Messages...there. She fires off directions to her room before anything else.
@Michael: Where is your room, Michael?
She stops just before sending as something else occurs to her.
Can you manage dressing and undressing, or will I need to help you?

Where on earth did I get this idea from?

Why did Mrs. Mulvaney have to walk through that door? Think...what would Michael say? How does he move?
"Sorry about that, Mrs. Mulvaney." SolMichael's delivery sounds...off. She smiles awkwardly, scratching at the back of her head with one hand and trying to act slightly embarrassed, instead of showing how mortified she was and shrinking inward. She's not moving right, but it's something? Excuse, excuse...
An idea flashes through her head, and she winces internally. ...I truly wish I had something better.
"Solmira needed our help. She slipped out earlier to find the villain that attacked that woman, and had an episode making it back to her room, so we went to help. We got the call from Tox and he met up with us on the way, and we brought her here to recuperate. We were going to cut this short when she was feeling better."

She looks toward Michael, desperately ignoring the uncomfortable feelings brought about by the fact that he was in her body, and attempts to put on a concerned look. "Think you can make it to your room, now? Would've been easier if you'd just let us take you there."
...I hope this is convincing.

I was double-checking who Kendra was to be sure, and found that.

SolMichael scrambles up to her feet, attempting to correct posture and push any sign of what she's feeling off her face for a more affable expression.
Looking like she's not a wreck is simple enough, but otherwise she seems a little too stiff and closed as she tries to remember how Turnabout was standing. "Ri-Quentin, that's a little -" A shot of panic shoots across SolMichael's face as she sees her body being crudely levitated. Don't broadcast to everyone, stick to her head and let Michael do the work...SIT DOWN, Michael. If you can't make it look like you're barely touching the ground, just touch it! ...what?

QuenRicardo's comments prompt SolMichael to peer over her legs, a startled look on her face. "I was...thinking that to everyone?" She quickly tries to bury her head as a flustered look entirely unsuited to Michael's face develops.

She makes a tiny shake of her head at Kid Venom's words. Her own words come out muffled from the way she's pressed her face into her legs, and there's a harsh, hysterical edge to her tone. "Why would I even know about this?! THEY would never have had this issue! For all there APPEAR to be many independently acting bodies, there's only one mind across all of them, and that mind is not specially attached to any one! Why would they have to worry about this?!"

Time to mark Hopeless again!
...so many conditions. So many of them.

It's surprisingly easy for Michael to make use of Solmira's telepathic capabilities - instinctual, even. It feels like it's written into her body - the hard part is reining it in.
On Solmira's end though, trying to use it as Michael is far more awkward. The uncomfortable aggressiveness she associates with the ability is gone, but in turn, it feels more...clumsy.
U-understood. And...I don't know. I have no idea how this happened.
...depending on how much has transferred between bodies, I might need help with walking properly. It's not as if I cannot get about, but...I'm accustomed to using my powers to tune my stride. I hope I can rely on your body to bridge the gap.
Be careful when using telepathy. It is easy to go too far unintentionally, in my experience.

As Solmira's focus turns inward, she finds Michael's headspace feels...different. Untouched, unaltered.
It's kind of nice, giving her a lightness and openness in he-his mind she isn't used to, a weight she'd never noticed lifted.
She tries not to think about what this means for her own body, and when she returns to it. ...my body. It's still a strange thought.

It's a couple of moments before SolMichael registers ToxQuentin speaking. She curls up more tightly, hugging her knees. "...I don't know. I...I'm sorry."

The sudden change of perspective and the fact that she is not sat down are her first tip offs.
The second is hearing herself talking strangely, despite knowing she is not saying anything.
The last is looking and seeing her own body.

What the - someone's in her body. Then whose body is she in?!
Not Quentin. Whoever's in there just fell off a chair.
Not Tox...not Sorrel...Michael? She looks down at his body. Yes, she's Michael now.
...she screwed up. She really screwed up.
Trying desperately to remain calm in the face of her screw-up, Solmira leans against the wall in the body of a now very panicked and skittish Michael. "I-I...I'm Solmira. A-A-And, and I think I made a terrible, terrible mistake."

"Just...just don't do anything. R-Raise your hand, and state your name, one at a t-time. Then, then we can see who I've managed to swap with who."
SolMichael slowly lowers herself to the floor, before curling up in a ball, positively distraught.

Search "Iggwilv", and you'll find mine. For Tox, search "Ziszkaa".

The change in profile images is already messing with me, so this is going to be fun.

As I said - I was curious. I wasn't expecting anyone to actually get to pick.
I felt like someone might have some interesting reasoning for their preference, you know?

Guess the only one to hear from now is Michael.

Does anyone have a preference for whose body they'd end up in? I'm honestly curious.

EDIT: I swear, KQ, you put that link up at the exact same time it came to mind for me.
It's an appropriate clip.

Solmira's eyes follow the dice.
Snake Eyes.
Somehow, it feels ominous.

We don't have to swap all of us, after all, and you do have two willing participants.

I actually ended up rolling for which of the 4 it would be, since I could see interesting things happening from most of the results.
Except Gryphalcon. He wasn't on the rolling list.
If I don't swap with Quentin (and my dice-based decision making is something you can live with), I'll say who I rolled. Just didn't want to finalise anything without seeing if the possibility existed.

I don't necessarily link an ability to pull things from people's minds and having a sharp tongue to being one of the top 4 in the city within her powerset. You only really get a lower limit from these things, and I didn't think something like that would require extraordinary power.

Given, I don't know the power range Genevieve is in either, how those four rate on the scale individually, but it still sounds far more impressive than I could have reasonably derived given who she's grouped with.

The interstellar psychic feedback would have been a greater tip off, come to think of it. Before this point, I'd have just put the intensity achieved there down to unexpected misfortune.

Well. I had no idea Genevieve was that high up the ladder.
