Ty for the replies and the prospective . I can see what you are getting at. Think we were just hung up on getting "Clone" at lvl 10 pretty much.

RAW For Reference:
Prerequisite: Alchemist 10, alchemical simulacrum discovery

Benefit: The alchemist learns how to create a simulacrum, a soulless duplicate of his body, into which he can project his consciousness. As a full-round action, he may shift his consciousness from his current body to any one of his available doppelganger simulacra, which must be on the same plane as the alchemist. If killed in a simulacrum, he transfers to his own body automatically; if killed in his own body, he is dead. Unused simulacra (including his abandoned original body) appear to be lifeless corpses, though they do not decay. Creating a duplicate costs 1,000 gp in alchemical materials and requires 1 week to grow. The created simulacrum is a creature, not a supernatural effect.

So that part is what we are arguing about currently , some of use are reading this as saying " You can make a Simulacrum and it acts like the spell so it has 1/2 your HD as its HD . Others are interupting it as that you get your full HD and its a duplicate of your self. So ya thoughts and views of other people that have used it and the like?

SO I have a question ... Will post a part of a build I had to determine things....

Monk 2 / 7 Synthesis ...

The Two Monk levels its self will give you +3 to all your saves and Several little Monk Bonus's along the way However ...When you do your morph Does !

A:
Your saves turn from ..

Reflex- 3+(monk)+ Edi.'s High/ low + X = Total
Fort- 3+(monk)+ Edi.'s High/low + X= Total
Will- 3+(monk)+ Your saves ( mental ) + X= Total

or

B:

Reflex- Edi.'s High/ low + X = Total
Fort- Edi.'s High/low + X= Total
Will- Your saves ( mental ) + X= Total

Oh and Also , Does Like bonus's stack in case of this I.E Since you get a Shield Bonus from the shield edilon that makes The spell shield progressively less effective and Mage armor will always ( if your smart) give +3 ac since you have to at least get 1 point of ac bonus from your edilon.

Same with Bab. Would I get the +1 from my monk lvls ? or is that just a lost since it spefically says USE the Edilons Bab. Though On a side note .. I didnt bother posting feats and the like but i can post the whole charc if need be but I feel you can go so many directions with monk it doesnt take much to make something awesome with just those two levels.

And since we are on the topic of Bab. Do you still get your Two Monk Attacks and then the naturals? so 6 attacks total ? or would it still be limited to a max of 4?

I will say that this build defense wise is a beast ,and for little starting gold at that ..What it lacks is damage though through attrition it can almost come out on top in some form or fasion .

So far everything I read is right save one thing ... You can't "heal" your edi , Its Temp. Hp , Temp. Hp cant be healed... What you can do is Just burn your own hp with your link and restore its hp then say Drink a potion or heal your self/get healed... But even thats up to your dm.

Well, to be honest..I play a synth. In one of our current campagins and I have to agree with the earlier comment that if you think synth. Is broke might want to look at how your playing your class. Mind you no offense is intended , for dms..i would suvgest tailoring your monsgers jusy alittle or target there cmd tripping ,grappling and the like..though that could just be me.

So today the question came up about dr .. so the question is if some creature say has dr 15 /good and silver does that mean if Johnny barbarian with a +2 "Magic" Cold Iron weapon and hits for say 30 damage it does 15 points of actual damage? Or is it saying if you had a Good Aligned Silver weapon you would do 15 points and Johnny would get through all the dr. Noob question I know But a tad bit of confusion came up

Well for starters , I know I casually play pathfinder so I compared to many of the people whom post here may not be in the "know" .But in our little group our dm allowed it and even allowed me a little creativity le-way on how I rp'ed the charc. Which Was Me having to use an evolution point for limbs and pretty much Rp'ing the charc appearance wise think the darkness shadowy appendages and all . So at least the way I described him looks pretty awesome ( AND hehehe im making an oni mask for him !)

Though side tracking lol , Why im posting ? I can honestly say playing summoner/synthesist has been amusing we needed a tank and pretty much got one .. .Mind you the damage my charc does for a 8th lvl charc is pretty laughable ( 1d6 ( Physical) 1d6 ( acid) +2 (Str) but what makes him shine is His Ac (37-48) have the charc sheet around here some where . But , Right now its 5 Summoner/2 monk(many styled) / 1 fighter(unarmed) .As is the class is "good" but theres plenty of things that pure classed could out do it in each of its categories The monk styles make it able to do amusing things but when put beside our titan mauler barbarian well damage wise its lacking , Or Sorc can Out spell cast it easily and i am sure people can think of / have made way better things but suffice to say broken Its not however...

I do think several of the rules leave it Very Open to interpretation which is more than likely just means there were typo's or the expected common sense to take place ..I.E " Manufactured Attacks not counting towards your number of attacks since it spefices "natural" " Which In our group just suggested to our dm that the max. per lvl is kept at the allowed . Along with several other things we noticed while we played . Rp wise and Df wise .. Cant say the class is all that bad . Sorry if I seem like im ranting and! if any one has any suggestions or ideas for the charc or wants to toss around ideas more than welcome to Listen..well Read lol.
