If they understand common, there's the command "approach" as well, but I usually won't have it prepared. And my DC sux. As fro SOS, I have no qualms in that. Like tacticslion, I prefer casters. And at low levels it really sucks to be one because of limited spells known. Can't really blame that elven wizard for carrying a bow...
If we were told no weapons, its no surprise we all created characters without range capabilities, since an archer is nearly useless if he does not get his hand on a bow. Only archer types that can function without equipment are kineticists, and frankly I think the free channel heals from cleric(since I don't expect CLW wands lying around) is higher priority then ranged attacks, at this point of time. Also, a lot of funkiness of kineticist kicks in at 7. Besides, I already have a kineticist. *waves vaguely at Zip*
Honestly I'm quite in a blank page for feats. I really have no experience with E6 and I've only made an archer cleric and my alignment is wrong for full summon tree. With 13 dex and no bow proficiency, I don't think I'm going down archery route... I figure it isn't worth it for a nat attacker to use PA, sonce I don't even have full bab to begin with. Most of my posts, including this one, are made from phone, tacticslion =)

Ah nevermind. E6 has lots of feats, I'm perfectly willing to take crafting feats. Just let me brush up my spellcraft some since I'm not an int based character.

Sithtiliss wordlessly picks up his pick and a torch and follows Greeter down to the mines.He does not speak, not trusting his tongue not to betray his innermost thoughts. 'Someone that who would betray us in a heartbeat...if I can arrange for an "accident" to happen when no one is looking, so much the better.'

"Cant leave any of us oout in the rain like that..." Sithiliss mutters. Once the guards are not looking their way, Sithiliss tries to drag both Vuram and Leo into a tent, one at a time. He tries to signal to Gehuil to help. Once in the tent, he pulls the shutters closed and starts fixing them.
. "Leo, I'm sorry about your missing ear, but I saw of the guards put something in your chest." He tells Leo when he wakes up.
True, but you'd need to prepare it first.
Unfortunately I can't take the pounding that you guys have been dishing. First blow would lay me out flat :( Plus, if I go down, who's going to fix the mess? :(

Sithtiliss looks at the combatants fight. 'They're paying for the distraction in blood...please don't let anyone take any permanent disabling injuries' Well...the die akready was cast..he could either sit here, or help. "Cow, I heard that troll say your mother was a goat!" He yells, egging Vuram on.
I suppose if Vuram/Lio goes down, Sithiliss will walk up to the winner with an indignant,"Haven't you done enough, you brute" Kind of thing. Then pull the loser into a tent someplace. If it's Leo, he'll put himself together, but Vuram will probably need some help.
"I guess I'd better get ready to fix them up afterwards."Sithiliss whispers to Gehuil. Sithiliss finds a spot to watch the fight so he can watch the combatants.
Sounds like a plan! If there's anything you want me to help you with, just ask. Unfortunately my skills are neither suited for making a mess, or sneaking around :( Could Volnar or brawlers get something to blow up, so that the guards will run over to investigate instead of catching the brawlers?

"Yup, the map is a good idea. Or we wouldn't even know where to start. We'd better find time where the guards aren't looking at us too hard to explore the route marked out." Sithiliss suggests. "I don't really need weapons,"he raises one clawed hand,but yes, it might give an indication if he's genuine or not."
Sithiliss gives a pained grimace as he sees Corrin write a letter using Leo's blood. "We could try a pigment made out of ashes from the incinerator the next time. I can provide the water,"he suggests.
"I'm...sorry for your loss.I didn't know..." It seemed inadequate after all was said and done, but what else could he do? The usually eloquent cleric is struck speechless by Vuram's tale of woe. 'It must jave been really horrible to be dangled a sliver hope, then have shatterred to pieces right in front of you. To believe, then to be betrayed.' Sithiliss thought to himself. "You're right Volnar. At least if we tried, we know that we died doing something worthwhile. " Sithiliss goes into Vuram's tent. "We can't do anything about what has already happend, in the past, but we can work towards the future.Unless you believe the future isn't worth fighting for. "
"The worse thing is if those horrors cause you not to feel. If you build a wall to block everyone out, you end up in the cold and dark alone." Sithiliss replies to Vuram. "And people who have no emotions can do anything without remorse." Sithiliss gestures at scene outside the tent walls. "We're all in this together, we need to help each other get out of this place."

"Heavens give you insight, when you ask with your insides?" Sithiliss stares at Leo incredulously. "I know that knowledge does not usually come without a price, but I also know that out there, Ragathiel watches over us. He is firm, but compassionate at the same time and does not demand his followers to shoulder unreasonable burdens."He tells Leo, his voice filled with conviction. He then pats Leo on his shoulder. "Think about it, Leo." He advises, kindly.
Sithiliss facepalms. 'The troll is missing the point.We create our own destiny.' "Doesn't it hurt? Disembowelling yourself like that?"Sithtliss asks Leo. "Look, I know you want to help, but I don't want you hurting youself like that for answers, ok?" He frowns at the rest of the group. "How can you all take this kind of thing," he gestures at Leo,"so calmly?" "We'll be wary of Greeter. What do you need us to help you with, and how do we contact Schwartz?" He addresses Corrin.
”Thanks Corrin. We’ll keep that in mind. And here I thought he was living so long because he was a living translator…” Sithiliss muses to himself. ”No! Lio, what are you doing?” SIthiliss cries out as Lio cuts himself open. ”Isn’t it very painful?” He asks the troll. He looks on with a mixture of horror and revulsion as the troll puts himself back together. ”Is it really worth it to causing yourself so much pain just to glimpse the future? The future is what we make of it together.”
"Hello, Lio. My name is Sithiliss. Glad to see you're back." Sithiliss gives Lio a friendly pat on his back and smiles. He turns to Corrin and speaks in hushed tones."I would not suffer anyone to be in this hellhole any longer then necessary. Yet we are watched by guards almost constantly, which makes it hard for long discussions. Are there places where conversations may go unheard?" He bites his lip, as he is about to ask a very unpleasant question."Are there fellow prisoners we should...avoid?"

Sithiliss shudders at Gehuil's laugh. It made him extremely uncomfortable, like the sound of a warmachine powering up, and brought back unpleasant memories. Of the humans invading the village, taking everything. "I'm Sithiliss. I wish we had met in better circumstances." He replies briskly. "Does anyone know the name of the troll here? Maybe if we can call him by his name, we can get his attention." Sithiliss states, while reaching up to put his hands on the large troll's shoulder."Troll. We need to move on. We can't help anyone if we are trapped by within our own minds, or by our pasts."
Sithtiliss releases a burst of positive energy within the confines of the tent to heal the injured hobgoblin.
He then rejoins the rest outside.
I have class the whole day so I'm going to be bushed. I posted before my tent actions resolved because its probably the only free time I'll get for today >.< And some things need saying. Tacticslion, feel free to look at it even though the whole thing even though its spoilered.
After Sithiliss is done with whatever he needs to do in the tent: Hearing a loud howl from outside, Sithiliss dashes outside. Seeing the shellshocked troll, he grabs Lio by the arm, trying to turn the troll to face him, to look into his eyes, trying to steady Lio."Look at me, troll." He speaks in a reassuring voice, trying to calm and talk some sense into Lio."You're among friends here." He wished he could tell the troll he was safe, but there was no safety to be had here."We're all monsters, and we'll stick together. I won't let them do this to you. They'll have to go through me first. I promise."
Sithiliss goes to the tent with the injured hobgoblin, and pulls the shutters closed ."Do you know others who may be injured like you?"
"I want to help people, damnit."Sithiliss growls. "But you're right."His shoulders droop downwards as he gives a dejected sigh. "Are there times that we are not watched or overheard?"He asks Greeter in hushed tones.
"That we are in such dire straits that we have to cannibalize our own dead?"It's usually hard to see expression in reptilian eyes, but Silthiss's are filled with despair. "Have you managed to find something...not sentient? Maybe a large animal body, like a horse?"He asks Greeter."And are we provided with sufficient water?" "Who are those who are sick and hurt?"Sithiliss demands. "I am a healer. I won't let the humans have any excuses to claim any more lives." He straightens up at this statement, his eyes filled with determination.
Sithiliss awakes with a groan, in the middle of the press of bodies.'Where the hell am I?' He shudders involuntarily as he finds himself in the press of bodies, of the dead and dying...crammed together like sardines in a can. 'So many dead, because of human ambition...does their greed know no end? Having taken our lands, our homes, what more degradation are they going to subject us to?' He gasps in fear as the boxcar crashes into the pool of water. 'Please Ragathiel, don't let me die here...grant me your protection so that I may live to extract vengeance on the humans. He prays desperately to his god. Looking at all those dead, Sithiliss is filled with sorrow for the lives lost. Dead - because they were different, just by not being human. "May their afterlife be more peaceful then this hell here."He utters a quick prayer for the departed, which was as much as he could do. Sithiliss looks carefully at the camp, taking count on how many humans there are, and their patrol patterns, as well as the state of the other non-human prisoners. Sithiliss sullenly glowers at the human, but makes no comment. 'They are the monsters, not us. And when the day of reckoning comes I will make them pay in blood' He thinks to himself with his heart filled with hatred as he grudgingly follows where the humans are prodding him to.
True. But my lawful alignment makes any percieved violation of the rules an itch in my back I can't scratch :( And don't worry about my character, I'm ready. Usually buying gear takes up the most time for me since I'm a packrat, but look on the bright side, starting with no gear takes care of that =)
Done. This is the base creature. I think PC as monsters rule state that you take the creatures modifiers and add it to a 20 point buy. Therefore str 13 = +1 modifier, dex 12= +1 modifier, 15 con = +2 modifier, 7 int = -2 modifier, 10 wis = +0 modifier, 8 cha = -1 modifier So after your 20 point buy like a normal PC, then you add +1 to your str, + 1 to your dex, + 2 to con, -2 to int, +0 to wis, -1 to cha. I believe that is how the PC as monsters rules works (since I don't acutally have the book) - See Alluria's post and GM confirmation. I am luddite so I do all my calculations by hand. Herolab is not immune to errors itself. |
