About Sir Tristan Tilernos

Background:
Sir Tristan may have only recently received the honor of his official accolade, but such a distinction was only a formality. He has always been a knight.

Born in Cassomir to the Cassomir Tilernos's, Tristan spent his early years enjoying the blithe distractions of life amongst the gentry. He spent a great deal of time with his ever-serious young friend Alexius Angelos. The boys bonded over their familial hardships, Alexius as a bastard half-elf of a human family and Tristan as someone with the blood of mephits, a long-held secret of the Cassomir Tilernos's.

In keeping with tradition for the eldest son of his family, Tristan went to the prestigious Rhapsodic College in Westport. There he became obsessed with the legends of the great General Arnisant, and the innumerable adaptations of his life story produced by ever-nostalgic Taldan poets, writers, and thespians.

On a trip studying abroad in Absalom, Tristan had the privilege of meeting a certain Lady Gloriana Morilla, who he immediately became entranced with. Ever the romantic, Tristan only saw a woman of inescapable intellect and elegant style, not the ruthless pragmatist.

Enraptured by the tales of the brave Arnisant and the romantic chivalric impulses fostered by a devout worship of Shelyn, Tristan went on indefinite leave from the Rhapsodic College and a comfortable life of patronage to join the Pathfinder Society.
