Sir Florace looks about to see where the rocks came from. Perception: 1d20 + 1 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 1 + 5 = 21. There are slits on the right side, and they're throwing rocks through He holds up his shield and makes his way to the far side since he doesn't like the idea of the pits next to him.

I'm not really clear where the trench is on the map. I'm guessing the room with the yellow sun is the main cavern and that the things with the arrows are the ledges. Sir Florace walks into the main cavern and looks around. Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Sir Florace thanks them for their help. He then investigates the room. Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16 If we find nothing else interesting here and no one else has any pressing business, I'd say we move on, taking the E corridor to the purple blob.

Florace takes the gold, murmuring his thanks. As it happens I believe we already have a lead for that. That's where I believe we were heading anyway. Sir Florace looks to his companions inquiringly. Turning back to Lady Devy, he says, I must ask, my lady, what was the purpose of this "witch's tower" to the town? With its dungeons and torture chambers it seemed rather out of place.

As a POI now that I'm lvl 2 I can essentially cure light wounds 4x per day. I assume we'll sell unneeded items. Also is there a monetary reward for this quest? Also, Arden and Aki chose the correct number of hit points for low HP characters at level 3 :D

We found a number of strange things in the tower, my lady. It seemed an evil place, with torture chambers and evil creatures--an imp and a ghoul. There were also two rooms protected by enchantments and a golem. As to the demise of the tower, the kobolds knocked it down by their own admission. We also found spades on several of their bodies, presumably dying in the collapse they caused. One of the kobolds claimed that Hunclay hired them to destroy the tower. Hunclay himself lies dead in the tower. We don't know why he went inside before the collapse. If we have enough money, I'd suggest investing in a wand of cure light wounds. So we have reasonably priced healing in situ.
