The market sounds more interesting than sleeping at least; though she doesn't need much of the latter.

"Sounds like it could be interesting. I'm in."

Hopefully not too interesting though; while she wouldn't mind technically, she suspects the guards would look... poorly upon a Kumiho rampage. Pity that.

Sio notices the device and it's attention, though not the red light in it's eye. If there are any areas of dim light (or darkness) in the tavern, she moves to conceal herself in it, keeping quiet.

Stealth: 1d20 + 34 ⇒ (5) + 34 = 39

The crowd however, interests her; she also keeps an eye open for any other attention to the group.

"That would probably be a good idea. Let's go, get a drink into Rattlebones before he perishes, and do something to get the attention of our to-be employers. Any suggestions?" Sio sends.

"I also figure on remaining hidden; my talents are more... limited if someone knows I am coming, after all."

Sio mentally communicates this to the other members of the collective, though still keeps an eye open for other events; those devices are known now, and in her experience it's what you don't see coming that causes the most trouble.

She should know, she specialises in being what you don't see coming, after all.

Sio looks around for a moment, briefly closes her eyes (gaining Blindsight 30ft and Scent 10ft), taking in what she can notice about her new surroundings. She then looks over at Nephre, "While I do have some skill in diplomacy, I suspect I am outstripped in that area by others here; I am content to follow the lead of another."

Sio leans back in her chair, and casually runs her fingers through her hair.

"Coming clean time, is it? Fine, Sio Tonti, Kumiho. Skilled in polymorph and darkness magics, and a beginner in blood magic. I am also a skilled fighter when shapechanged, naturally."

High AC, high single-hit damage. Alteration sphere gives a wide range of toys to hand out to the party, and Blank Form means they won't actually alter anyone's form if needed. Dark sphere can hand out some nasty debuffs, or just lower the light level two levels in a large area at will.

"You mean, like an interest in, and skill at, stalking in said darkness?" Sio says casually. "I'm a pretty good cook? Oh, and I don't sleep... much."

"Other jobs, or backup, I would suspect. It's not as if the Foreseen will have only one thing on the must have list."

Sio looks over the others that signed up for breaking in. "You look like peo... beings I can work with, though. Hope you all function well in darkness, though."

Sio muses on this, "I am quite skilled at stealth as well as cooking... you can, I suppose, count me in on plan Sneak."

Privately, she does hope that said run wouldn't be totally peaceful; a good stalk is most satisfying with a good feed at the end.

"Hopefully, everyone on that plan will be perfectly happy in the pitch dark." She eyes those already in shadows. "That question wasn't for you." She grins.

Sia tilts her head, "Well, if that hasn't been taken up, that's our opening. We seem to have a... wide range of skills here, we could probably pass as professionals."

She leans back, absently letting a few nearby shadows stretch towards her.

Sio briefly contemplates this, "Should be entertaining, at least. Sounds like a bright sort."

She shrugs, "Not sure how useful I'll be, but you've got yourself a cook, at the very least."

Sio can't help herself, really, and speaks up at that, "Don't you mean temporally?"

Sio quirks a curious brow in that direction, then follows in that direction, tossing a "Well if this falls through let him know, please?"

Inside the room, she finds an unexpectedly large group of dubious looking types, bar the Celestial looking one, who just sticks out like a sore thumb. She's sure she has seen his face before...

Knowledge (Local): 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 8 + 2 = 24

It vaguely rings a bell, but alas, nothing comes to mind.

She does, however, take the closest empty seat; no need to be impolite after all.

Sio is quietly preparing herself breakfast when a piece of paper nearly falls inside the cauldron, the paper (and breakfast) rescued only by her reflexes. She ignores it for now; mysterious letters are all well and good, but breakfast comes first.

When she is done, however, she indulges her curiosity and reads the message.

”Please make haste to the Crossing House tavern within the city of Hyraeatan. Your particular services are required. If you are unable to make the journey on your own, you will find attached a token capable of created a one way portal to Hyraeatan. It only works once, so use it wisely.”

"No token. How will I ever get to the local tavern?" She sardonically muses to herself. "I guess they need a cook?"

It doesn't take much time to pack up her meagre belongings and start her trip; she knows the tavern well enough. She doesn't make too much haste, though, and arrives as a group are departing.

"Morning Cortia! Your boss looking for another cook?" She asks, passing the letter over to the fae. "Pretty mysterious way to address it though, did he send out more copies?"

About Soz

History:

Soz (a Duros) grew up on Dauz. Born after the birth of the Empire his life has been far from easy. In his teenage years he left his home to try his luck amongst the stars. For a time he served as a pirate amongst the crew of the Crimson Star. It was here he picked up a habit of drinking Reactor Cores (A mixed drink that produces hallucinations due to the narcotic agents released by combining Spice Liqueur and Blue Tonic) and ultimately led to him being marooned on Ua'keem after spacing an entire freighter's worth of cargo. Having no other options, Soz managed to convince a group of Squib to give him a ride off planet in exchange for work as a guard/porter. After working his debt to the Squibs off Soz picked up work as an enforcer for the Hutt Diarah. The Hutt found out about Soz's addiction and used it to keep him in line and working for next to nothing. Fed up with never having enough credits to do what he wanted Soz did the only thing he could. He quit working for Diarah and got sober. The withdrawal nearly killed him but after 2 months he could finally hold a blaster again without his hands shaking. Now he has hooked up with a crew (the other players) as a hired gun hoping to make enough credits to live out his real dream of being his own boss.
