Male Kitsune Merchant
Suni smiles at the knight, I dare from the far East, far beyond the plane of horses, where I bring exotic spices to the farthest reaches of the west in hopes of profit from the rich regality of Waterdeep he says, I am traveling with this caravan in hopes that if we encounter Trouble I'd at least be able to defend my wares from the likes of bandits or monsters... he slicks his blonde hair back, grinning stupidly the entire time.
Nothing he said was a lie, he did infact intend to sell spices in waterdeep. Although he didn't really care who he sold them to, so long as he swiped their wallets while they wheren't looking..
The rest of his motives he just decided to omit from telling.
Male Kitsune Merchant
Suni snorts, shaking his head. It's not the purple dragons, but the looters, you fools... Useless... Fine if you wish to be ransacked, I'll be sure to laugh as the looters take all you own.
The merchant storms out if the tavern, making his way to the caravan, where he knew there at least was some sensible people. When he makes his way to them he does his best to work with them all in getting ready to leave... Then watches the proceedings with caution.
Male Kitsune Merchant
Well, when I have more ranks in one skill than even a lvl 1 PC can have than your overshooting it :P after all I have 2 ranks in appraise from my "class"
Also, I'm not with the group as it seems, the rest of ya all went to the caravan and Suni slept in the tavern...
Male Kitsune Merchant
Suni comes down the stairs, his exotic armor donned and a pair of daggers... Or at least the handles at his sides.
He lifts his crossbow and looks to the others. War horns, we must protect ourselves! Ah.. Cormyr is the one with the powerful battle mages right? Or is that a different country? he makes his way to the counter and looks for the bartender.
Where are you, you- he swears in his home language several times We are under attack! Prepare buckets of water to douse fires, Start building baracades, we'll be locked in here for days, and since this is a place that holds food, we want to keep looters from raiding this tavern.
Oh, Suni is in the tavern from before, he would afford no less than a comfortable bed.

Actually I believe it's when they die, if I remember correctly, Werewolves and Doppleganger remain in whatever form they are in until they die..
I don't know, I'd have to look it up, to be exact...
Besides, if I'm able to change shape, wouldn't it be reasonable to say that I can simply just change I to himan and back and have all my hair back? After all, I don't have hair in human form... Or does the lack of hair in one form effect all my forms? Even if I'm able to change I to.multible forms(which is a feat) would then my power be offset. I mean seriously?
Oh, Ive decided I'm gonna be an investigator when we get classes. It's the mix I was looking for between rouge and alchemist...
Male Kitsune Merchant
How can you shave me when I'm human, hahahahaha!
My devious plan is infallible!
Although I guess it would then be called a haircut, unless your shaving EVERYWHERE, then that's kinda weird.
Although you could always shave me like a poodle
Male Kitsune Merchant
Actually, a fox sounds like a high pitched dog, oddly enough, so technically it's *yip yip*
But that's hardly true, technically I'm a human, (I can even take a feat that counts me as human)
Male Kitsune Merchant
Oops, that's what I get for just skimming text when I'm in a hurry :P
Male Kitsune Merchant
Suni, realizing he's sitting in a room with the others, smiles, not realizing he is showing his true shape, the blond Kitsune crosses his arms. Ah, I have no questions... Let the others ask theirs as I see no issues. he looks at the other members of his party, his long bushy tail flicking to the side and his tall ears perked up. He smiles that ever snarky smile that he has. If anyone didn't recognize the man because of his shape surely that look was plain enough...
Male Kitsune Merchant
I have a question: I'm this dream is my character in his true form, after all I don't imagine he dreams of himself as a human, after all he has spent most of his life actually in his true form, even if the last few months have been mostly human... Hmm I think this is more of something I should decide, however the next question would be if it actually mattered? After all... This is a dream for all you know I just look like a fox in my dreams because I'm a strange eastern who believes in creatures that you've never even seen or thought of.
Male Kitsune Merchant
Yes, merry day after Christmas everyone!
Male Kitsune Merchant
Suni chuckled. Isn't sure the goddess of beauty? Nine hell's, I'll take a blessing from a beautiful woman any day... he says, sitting down, waving a bar maid over. "Hey, sweets, I'd like a glass of water, and something t' help a hangover..." He hands her a silver, "if it works I'll give you another..."
Gosh, I still can't wait until something comes along and reviels suni's true form
Male Kitsune Merchant
Suni looks at the bottle, squinting. Eh... I Donno, Sore wa 3-pon no waindatta kamo shirenai he says, slipping into his native tongue.
Watashi wa dochira ni mo kinishinai
Again, that's Japanese Via Google translate :P
Male Kitsune Merchant
Suni- who dissapeared for some reason when the caravan came into town, stumbles I to the bar, drunk, his shirt unbuttoned. He sees the group and wanders over, Oi, ah sorry bout my dissapearancez I had decided to treat myself to a fine pair of ladies and a bottle of wine... he says, slurring his words. [ooc]I'm paying 5 gold under the assumption that's what it would have cost for his endevors.[/oocM
Male Kitsune Merchant
Well, Right now I feel like Suni himself doesn't know what he wants in life, and is dabbling here and there. If he becomes an Alchemist I don't think it would be too far off to be a vivisectionist, or a rouge of some kind. However, being an investigator doesn't fit him at all, he isn't a super social person (Hence why I took the clever Kitsune over the boost to Cha)
Plus Suni is also the type to take drugs or drink alcohol- often and in large amounts. So it would only be a step up to make a mutagen.
Another archetype I was looking at was Metamorph, but... I don't think being able to alter self is very useful when I already have a permanent one.
Male Kitsune Merchant
There is also the bomb and mutagen discoveries for Alchemist, allowing a Investigator to become a bomb user as well, I like the investigator, but I don't think that would fit Suni as much...
Plus because I have point blank shot my sneak attack goes out to 30ft.

Male Kitsune Merchant
well, im actually stuck myself. i cant decide if i should stay my original idea and go rouge or try going alchemist I have the Int for it
and to be honest, if you find a trap there are always ways other than disable device to get rid of it...
honestly i wanna try out vivisectionist or Promethean Alchemist

Diplomacy(gather info): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8Time taken(in hours): 1d4 ⇒ 2
Suni nods to the man addressing him and Smiles Well, I shall do my best selling my exotic spices and remedies, although I don't have much left, after selling most of my stock on the road. he says, bowing. Where might one set up a stall?
Male Kitsune Merchant
Suni drinks most of the wine, leaving little to share, Although he does make sure to at least share. Fort to avoid Negative effects: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
He sighs, enjoyed my the flavor of the wine. Sorry, your very quiet, normally I am companions with people who talk all day, from morn to dusk, always about stupid things... he says to Kyorruei.
Male Kitsune Merchant
Ah, But back in the day, Nightshade was used in a myriad of ways, such as cosmedics and even sleeping aids(despite producing hallucinations)
Suni makes his way to the carts where Pox is checking the supplies. Where is the wine... he groans to the Pox. I need a drink. I tell you, the next town we come to I'm finding the first maid and showing her a wealthy amount of gold... he sighs, checking the boxes as well, only he's looking for wine. perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
Male Kitsune Merchant
Silver keeps to his tent, sleeping, Although he wakes several times in the night, wary. He puts himself back to sleep with light doses of nightshade and has a fitful sleep...
In the morning he is hungover, despite not having a drank anything the night before this is a result of his Hedonistic trait. Having not gained any money or spent time pleasuring himself he is Fatigued for 4 hours or until he earns enough money/ parties enough to meet his trait
He goes to his mirror and makes sure he's still human. He gathers his stuff and climes out of the tent, squinting in the sunlight. Ugh... I need a drink... he moans... Looking for his wineskin

Male Kitsune Merchant
Once Suni is completely aware of the situation he sighs. In my land, Striking a noble bears a death sentence... But in my homeland there is a cast system, and only we nomad merchants have any say heavy enough to give a noble consideration, if any note at all. he says, unloading his crossbow. If a merchant where to be struck, it was his choice of punishment, only barring execution.
Male Kitsune Merchant
Here I am, clueless as ever...
Male Kitsune Merchant
Suni is flustered by the sudden turn of events and shambles to grab his crossbow, quickly drawing a bolt and placing it in the crook. Is there a threat! Under attack?!?
He then begins shouting in his native language,
Male Kitsune Merchant
Let's all just agree that PvP is uncivilized, shall we? Sure, we're evil(most of us anyways- I do intend on shifting evil later on) but petty squabbling is far below us.
Male Kitsune Merchant
Suni goes over to his horse and huffs. He wanted to get away from these people... Staying human for so long was making him nervous and wary. He had hardly gotten any sleep, fearful he would wake up and no longer be human... In the middle of the camp with everyone watching. It was stressing him out... I need a drink... Or some women! he says, Rummaging through his pack. He sighs when he doesn't find anything useful... Then he eyes the box holding his exotic wines, sighing. I swear... This addiction will be the death of me... he quickly leaves his pack, not wanting to touch those bottles.
He makes his way around the caravan, before stopping by Dorn. Hello again, ah... Dorn? I forget, I am no good with names... I am concerned about these new men... What if they are Harper spies? he says, whispering to the apprentice.
Male Kitsune Merchant
Actually, he is the God of lies, so for all we know he just became calling himself Cyrik and his name wasn't Cyrik in the first place...
Then again there is a thing called fate.
Male Kitsune Merchant
Silver sizes the member up and down... Looking to see if they have anything worth stealing.
Look, strange men bother me, especially when they come from the forest. Too many times have I have been walking around, invited into the kindly stranger's house only to have their head pop off and chance me away!
Male Kitsune Merchant
silver slides over to the Pox. Careful, friend... he whispers. there is something in the dark... a spirit or monster of some kind... he glances around. I don't like it...
Male Kitsune Merchant
Suni loads his crossbow, more willing to fight when he isn't up close... He then readies to fire on the first sign of threat.
Male Kitsune Merchant
Well, yeah, the check is to hide the message from being passed, Although now any person looking my way could pick up my drift.
Male Kitsune Merchant
Suni nodded, Ah, but in my homeland, one couldn't go about ten ahh... Feet? Ten feet before running into some spirit, out in the woods. They like to hide and jump out when you least expect it
bluff to pass hidden message: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4Well... Okay, in his nervousness, Suni almost blantantly points out the light I he saw...
Male Kitsune Merchant
The finicky man that he was, Suni slips over to his Bodyguard, You know... he says, starting up casual conversation. Back in my homeland, we didn't have all these creatures you folks have here. Back there we have much different monsters
He subtlely hints about the light, Bluff to pass hidden message: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11
Male Kitsune Merchant
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
suni manages to notice the light... and shivers. he didn't like this feeling, and tales from his homeland of vengeful spirits and oni only made him worry more.
he assumes the light was something supernatural, and begins looking for people to throw at the spirits, using them as food instead. then he'd find the closest mage and quickly convince them to attack it, effectively making sure he was on the bottom of the list when it came to food...
He does this all while remaining relatively calm, although anyone watching could tell he was getting nervous
Male Kitsune Merchant
well, if its a band, I'm the drummer, vital to the music but not really the most famous of the group.
Male Kitsune Merchant
I've decided to go with the Burglar archetype, after all, being even better at trap removal and stealth is a good trade-off for uncanny dodge (in my opinion)
Male Kitsune Merchant
Suni bows in his traditional way, Thank you, I will arrange for my departure, I hope you don't mind I have a horse, its been with me all the way from the Plain of Horses, when I bought it from a horse merchant. It carries most of my wares. he then goes to collect what little else he has, putting it all neatly in the saddlebags of his horse.
when he is alone he goes and finds a bar, buying a bottle of wine,
drinking most of it quite fast...Cheep bottle, 5gp. now, if i remember the official ruling I can drink as many glasses as my con modifier before getting drunk, but this is one whole bottle so...
fort to avoid drunk: 1d20 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 2 + 4 = 22the +4 is from my trait
When Suni returns he smells of alcohol, but is quite composed despite the amount of wine he drank. Seems he can hold it well, or hide it anyways.

Suni takes this advice, being one of the few merchants that only plans for profit... one way or another. solid advice, might we know our destination, and then where we are passing through?
Male Kitsune Merchant
Actually different gender is -2 to disguise and different size is an additional -10 so it's harder for a halfling to appear as a human, much less a woman appear to be a man.
Being a character that uses disguise I have to know these things.
However, I will state, if you change yourself to appear as a male, using only minor details, it's +3
Hmm... I was just thinking, as a Kitsune I have a +10 to appear Human, but -2 to appear as a different race so does that mean I have +8 to appear Human after the modifier?
Male Kitsune Merchant
Suni keeps to himself, until Pox Mentions the discrimination of the half-races. Well, I shouldn't have to worry about that... Being human I should fit that roll just fine, and also being a merchant, of sorts, I'll fit right in. My wares are spices and exotic medicines.
If the Zone of Truth is still up, him saying he's human pings, if not then no worries.
Male Kitsune Merchant
Ah, I remember, My party once had a Gnome Alchemist, who carried around a Keg if gunpowder (to blow stuff up with), and they had come across a flame demon, basically a minor demon with flame shield. But this gnome was a strange kinda Chaotic Good. He figured the demon was a nice guy and first round of combat he had decided to walk right up and hug the demon. Of course he forgot he had the gunpowder and so when I rolled to see what set on fire sure enough it was the gunpowder keg. There where about 75 doses of gunpowder left inside, so he blew up, the demon blew up, and most of the party was gravely wounded.
From that point on, All my players vowed to never bring a gnome with them again.

Think my worst trap memory was when our rogue critically failed and exploded in a fireball trap.
Male Kitsune Merchant
The only reason Mine isn't that high is that it currently isn't a class skill.
I'm determined to play a Unchained rogue, but I just can't settle on an archetype :P
So far I'm sticking to Kitsune trickster though
Male Kitsune Merchant
The gloves of Larceny will help, esspecialy if I need to get the key from a guard. Gloves of Pickpocket go!!!
Male Kitsune Merchant
Suni Eyes the human when he whispers to him... Curious to know exactly how much he knew... And if he would have to kill him to keep him silent. But he didn't say anything, after all he had to keep his act up, instead.he just raised a brow, as if saying "what?"
Male Kitsune Merchant
Suni scowls. Come now, Don't be unsavory, the body has many more uses than just Chum. After all, several parts of them sell for very high prices to the right people.
Male Kitsune Merchant
Still has to beat my DC:26 Disguise! And I'm just taking 10 on that, not spending any time actually trying to change my appearance.
Although that's just to appear Human :P
