Congrats and Friday was my 3rd Anniversary! Wife and I got hitched at the Graceland Chapel in Vegas! :)

I don't mind pushing back the date to get the product done right but it needs to hit the shelves 2 weeks or more before Christmas. Any delay after that and Christmas dollars are spent and other products *cough* *cough* AD&D *cough* *cough* will be the ones ppl are spending their hard earned money on.

I'm currently in a mad rush for employment and may or may not be able to commit Sundays. I'll know once I get hired. Hopefully sooner rather than later. For now, the date change isn't a problem.

Your mad rush for employment is going to take place between 4pm and 9pm PST on a Sunday?? Tell'm you take weekends OFF!

Here are a few thoughts:

Something for pics and/or video.

Do any of you drink?

Is "lots of water" included in food?

Lots of music, specifically some Jimmy Buffet.

Perhaps multiple swim suits...I am not sure how the suits/trunks might feel different after going into salt water as opposed to fresh water. I know they feel different at the beach but that probably has a lot to do with the sand in the water.

Perhaps a hanging shower bag if you are able to bring enough water and the boat doesn't have one. I don't see any guarantee that the ocean itself, not even taking into account the salt water, will be clean enough that a dip in it will make you fell clean enough to not want a shower.

Umbrellas so as to avoid the sun while on deck.

Will there be proper tables for playing?

Some type of basin/container to roll dice in (instead of on the table) so that with some waves they do not roll all over the boat.

I believe you've just put WAY too much effort into it... :)

I'd prefer a boat to an air raft but if I have to choose, I'll take the middle one....

I've generally disliked point buy systems. For the most part, it just gives you homogenized characters. Yes, they're different classes (obviously) and they can be SAD or MAD but you still tend to get players using the same 6 stats arranged for their particular class.

In my mind the 1st consideration is always the mix of players you have. Anywhere from Power Gamers to Role Players (which are not necessarily mutually exclusive). As a DM, you want to meet players expectations while allowing for some surprises.

That being said, 4d6 discard the lowest gives a higher than average group of stats and only an outside chance at a really 'low' stat. In my mind, Adventurers ARE Adventurers because they're a couple cuts about the average commoner but not perfect in every way. For the DM, it can mean more work tweaking encounters but the ultimate goal is for everyone to have fun.

So it will be posted an hour or 2 from now. I just woke up and english is like my 5th language when I just wake up.
No, he means there is probably another hour or two worth of work to be done before the errata document is finished. The new errata will not be available for download til after the 3rd printing of the core book is in stock in the store in a couple of weeks.

Which means that no changes will be made to the Core Rulebook with regard to errata for the 3rd printing since it isn't finished yet. Pity.

Indeed. And the cool thing about Pathfinder RPG is that we can convert the closed monsters ourselves with little effort if we really want beholders and displacer beasts in our games.

Been playing AD&D since 1st edition and have faithfully bought scads of stuff from TSR/WotC over the years but haven't played for quite some time. Been looking at Pathfinder vs 4e and 4e is just too much of a departure from what I want in my game (now that I've decided to get active again). I'm VERY glad that the splat books I have for 3.5 can be applied to Pathfinder because Beholders will ALWAYS have a place at my table! :)
