The Kingmaker group I play with ran headlong into the Scythe Tree, the very first encounter in RRR. If our sorcerer hadn't had Scorching Ray we may not have survived. The Dryad was quite happy with us even if did cut off her explaination when we met her.

I would try looking at the Kingmaker Oituaries if you are planning to run it. It will easily point out the nasty parts.
