New 1.6 cleric changes seem underwhelming.

Able to freely cast with both arms burdened, better non-channel healing spells...I think that's largely it. Oh yeah, and less channel charges.

Also, belated reply:

B) Not even really a balance issue, to be honest. Channel Smite is a 2-action ability that counts towards MAP, which is super awkward for clerics to use. Its primary benefit is being able to cast true strike prior to the attack for a high chance of a high-damage crit, and if anything that's a bit better for Gorum and his greatsword favored weapon than Erastil and his longbow.

I just figure a magically-charged bow shot isn't too far-fetched to imagine. Think Kikyo and Kagome from Inuyasha.

I'm going to be perfectly honest, and I kind of feel sorry for the demons? I mean demons are jerks but this just feels sad for them, seeing their faces kicked off by some pointy eared little rascal.

Probably spoiler box it to avoid spoiling the monster defensive stats for players, but how much damage was that monk even doing per kick?

Also for OP.
Personally I'm not really sure it's a huge issue that it's harder to inflict the Grabbed condition (and thus catch flat-footed) upon a humongous demon than on a small toddler?
I realise that it's physically easier to touch a big monster, but I can't say it would sit well with me for it to be EASIER to grapple a creature for being bigger.
Otherwise, pretty much everything Morgan said.

Not trying to grapple 'em like in an arm wrestle, trying to grab ONTO them so I can climb on their face, Shadow of the Colossus style.

Not sure if PF2 has actual factual monster-climbing rules.

A) I don't feel that the clerics get as many sacred weapon-related class feats as they do get class feats for their other class features.

B) Besides balance, any reason Channel Smite only works for melee weapons when clerics can have ranged weapons as their sacred weapon?

C) Lastly, I feel it would make more logical sense for the Expert/Master/Legendary Spellcaster features to be spaced out every five levels/once per "tier" or so rather than bunching them all up after 10th level.

I do hope that the various alchemist techniques get split up into feat paths instead of the alch getting the basics of everything all at once.

Okay, so, for Doomsday Dawn Part 5 playtest at my local Pathfinder Society I decided to make a character based on the Doom Slayer from the recent DOOM video game reboot. Because, y'know, demon slaying.

What I was hoping to go for:
-Speed, armor, and rage-powered fury (I was a paladin with barbarian dedications and class feats, because he hates demons THAT MUCH, he skipped weapons and just used his magic gauntlet fists).
-Parkouring off walls to attack enemies from above and leap on bigger foes' faces to better rip and tear.
-Beat someone to death with part of someone else.
-Use intimidation feats to scare the s&+& out of demons.

What I got:
-Knocked a foe down, wall-leapt off a nearby pillar to try and elbow-drop the downed foe, wound up overshooting because the die were not with me. Missed, character hurt himself.
-Trying to leap onto an enemy is a grapple, and grappling is a fortitude save, which means I failed to grab onto enemies bigger than I was despite the huge targets, because the larger demons have monstrous fortitude saves.
-Resorting to slowly punching enemies to death with my xd6 holy disrupting fists, which felt underwhelming. Although to be fair the other players sounded like they were getting whupped too.
-Generally feeling suboptimal as both a tank and a striker.

Forgive me if I sound whiny here, purely my two cents, but it felt like I wasn't getting rewarded for this particular build. Or maybe my math was bad.

Is it too late to cancel my Beginner Box and request a refund for the price difference in my Humble Bundle contribution?

Hi ReginleifWulfrun,

Thanks for letting us know! Unfortunately, I can't help you clear up this mystery because it looks like your Beginner Box is one of those that is currently on backorder, and has not yet been shipped out. So your mystery UPS slip wasn't from Paizo. :-/ Sorry I can't be more help with that!

Your order will remain pending in our system until we receive the Beginner Box reprint, at which point it will be sent out as quickly as possible. Our current estimate is that they should arrive in 6 - 8 weeks. I apologize if this has caused any confusion or inconvenience.

Please don't hesitate to let me know if there are any further questions or concerns that you may have, and I'll be glad to help out.

Thanks!
Katina

First off---apologies for posting this here instead of the Customer Service forum! I didn't notice it the first time.

Second off---after checking my recent Amazon orders I found out that one of them shipped through UPS. I got thrown off because a bunch of similar but differently-timed orders came from USPS instead, and the receipt for the Pathfinder box had said it would be shipped by UPS Ground, so I assumed the Pathfinder box would be the only UPS shipment here. The Amazon package in question arrived as expected yesterday---I just didn't expect that it was UPS shipping it this time instead of USPS and figured the Pathfinder box must have arrived because the delivery date listed on the receipt was vague due to the backlog of orders.

Everything is present and accounted for now, though!

Hi. I chose the Beginner Box with the Humble Bundle.

I got a UPS sticky note over my mailbox yesterday saying that they had missed me that day.

I'm guessing this was the package because no other packages I have asked delivered to my place lately have been UPS-shipped.

The apartment office says they have received no such package for me.

Where it gets confusing is that UPS has no record of the InfoNotice number on the sticky note, and Paizo's website says the shipment is still pending.

I have no idea what is going on anymore. :S
