Hi guys. I'm inquiring out of curiosity rather than complaining. The following order:

Is there any clue when these will be available? I know they are pending. The Kyra miniature now says backordered...I pre-ordered that one so I'm curious about the backorder statement..more pre-orders than initial run had in it?

The t-shirt..waiting on the miniature I suspect?

Didn't arrive today. LOL A little antsy. Hopefully it arrives tomorrow on the release date; it was shipped on the 6th...then again the postal service here rarely gets things to people in anything like the time estimates they give so I won't be horribly surprised if it doesn't.

It is fine by me. If someone wants Heavy Armor they can get the feat to use it without penalty; it isn't a big deal, especially with the increased number of feats. Given shield proficiency and other AC benefits, I don't see clerics really losing anything substantial in this case. Seems to be more a lamentation of the loss of beloved abilities or aspects of a class going on, but then I don't see the class as having lost anything from an operational or effectiveness standpoint.

I'm still being patient. Mine shipped on Thursday so should arrive soon, but mail around here can be....erratic...at times. Still, 4 - 8 business days shipping time runs from tomorrow through next Monday.

The important thing is that it is on the way. That's all that matters to me. :)

A little patience goes a long way. We've waited this long, a little longer is perhaps not fun but is really not that big a deal. Envious of those who have it already? Yep, who isn't? Worried over a lack of shipping notices? I was a bit anxious myself. I needn't have been.

The folks at Paizo have bent over backwards and I'd say gone beyond the call on this. Well done guys!

Don't feel bad. Neither have I. It says 'pending' on the order history page, and I have had email telling me the other subs are shipping soon, but not this one.

I reckon that one should come in a few days. The waiting is a bit hard though. :)

I'm really looking forward to this one I must say. :) September, next month, not terribly long to wait. I dearly love the Pathfinder Society.

Everyone is terribly excited, with good reason.

I received word my Adventure Path, Chronicles, and Companion would be shipping soon..the usual one. No email on the Core Rules yet though. It is really a delicious sort of anticipation. :)

The actual mapped dimensions, as opposed to paper dimensions, are 21" wide by 27.5" tall. I have it lying out here and measured it with a tape measure. 577.5 square inches. According to the bar, 2.25" = 240 miles.

About 9.3 of those measurements across..so what, 2239 miles across?

About 12.2 of those measurements high...oh, 2933 miles high?

Math isn't my strong point but I find the topic intriguing.

I would not be surprised to be totally in error here. Feel free to lambaste at will.

I should note this is the Inner Sea Region map from the Map Folio.

I haven't done the math but I always had the impression Golarion is quite large.

The er...Clouds...at the northern edge of the map, if they indeed are marking the Arctic Circle, or the edge of it, would be an interesting feature really. Trade routes going through thick mist of that nature and of course eventually crossing icecaps would make for some seriously creepy journeys I think.

I find this a fascinating line of inquiry.

Someone always seems to release a bit early with such things. I'm not really surprised if that is indeed what has happened here.

Congrats to Paizo on the sell out of the first print run! :) Great work brings great reward.

One question though; at which point do non-subscription pre-orders of the Core Rules ship? Aiming for delivery on the 13th I assume, which would mean in a few days I'm hoping. I pre-ordered in February and it says pending so I'm terribly excited.

*grins* If I get it in time I'll have a go at running an adventure at our Con coming up at the end of the month!

I like the large vinyl map idea, as well as a faction pin or patch. A DM screen I think once the final version of the game is done.
