Init Order:
Round 1 Layla takes no time moving in and striking at the kobolds with her rapier, though she didn’t forsee the kobolds ability to dodge her attack. Layla plans her next attack. Aerek display the feat of a warrior, charging in with a fist of stone catching one of the kobolds off guard, crushing in his face with one hit. Surely the kobold still stands but he is completely on his last limb; disabled. He finds his planting right next to the lady Layla. Kobold A (boss) moves in to strike at Aerek since he appears to be the largest threat, positioning himself behind Aerek on his approach, flanking with the injured Kobold. Kobold(boss) Shortsword: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17 "Hits, Aerek"
Hung moves in for the kill right behind Kobold (boss), now flanking him with Aerek , granting a +2 to hit, still finds his blade fails to connect but only by a mere close call. Vernonia finds her footing and searches for that everlasting strike of death that she so wishes to provide the evil little kobolds. Thasitalia watches the combat to evaluate the situation and look for anyone that may need some help or healing. She does this all while loading her crossbow and popping off another shot. Crossbow: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 [ooc] "misses kobold"
At this point in time, the kobolds are now in range with Layla and Aerek but have yet to get in range with the rest of the group. A smashing blow by Aerek makes each of them question their motives before they continue, although they do continue. They begin to surround Layla and Aerek, and appear to be smart enough to not provoke attacks of Opportunity as they move in and avoid stepping through threatened squares, flanking both Aerek and Layla. The Injured one in front of Aerek, and one behind Layla and one on the outside of each. The injured kobold only stares at Aerek, and shivers in fear as to his next strike, but doesn’t move. Diagram: XXXXXXXXXXX
Kobold 1 of 6 Attack, Layla: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 ”Flanking, miss”
Kobold 2 of 6 Attack, Layla: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17 ”Hit”
Kobold 3 of 6 Attack, Layla: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 ”Flanking”
Kobold 4 of 6 Attack, Aerek: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 ”Flanking, miss”
Kobold 5 of 6 Attack, Aerek ”Disabled” Kobold 6 of 6 Attack, Aerek: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12 ”Hit”
Zorza stands back and unleashes a beautiful shot, hitting the kobold dead center of his back helping out Layla. Her shot was precise and true, as the kobold yelps in pain, though his crappy padded leather spine was enough to reduce the penetration of the attack deep into his body. ”flavor text, still takes 2 points of dmg” Layla takes 5 points of damage and Aerek Takes 6 points of damage

@Zorza it depends on what you are trying to do, I would suggest that you post anyways, and if adjustments are needed I will accommodate for partial corrections if needed. I typically try to write out the combat basics before the encounter with minor adjustments so my NPC don't change up there mind because of something you did, unless they have pre-knowledge of it before hand. I am finishing up everything right now so I will post once you update Zorza

”Sorry for my delay, be under the weather.” Kobolds Perception towards Group: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Surprisingly evening the half-wit kobolds had the chance to spot Vernonia as she practically informs the village of their arrival. They all turn in the direction of the group but they don’t scatter, they begin to engage in combat, moving in a hap hazard strategic tactic, drawing their weapons because they were startled by the Yelping of Vernonia, the torches hitting the ground. Round 1 ”Init Check” 6 Kobolds Init: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

The group’s overall survival skill was very impressive and resulted in an easy path straight towards the kobolds. After only a short walk, you were hot on the trail of the kobolds heading back towards town. The information leads you to believe the kobolds were relaxed and taking their time. You were approaching the mini village outside the town, all of 3 houses could be spotted. Stealth DC B: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15
One Perception Roll DC vs Stealth:
”If you fail the perception you don’t see them at all even if the group points them out to you. Got to love stealth, although you have an idea where they are.”
*DC Stealth A & B*: As you all approach the houses in the tree line, you spot 7 kobolds who appear to be hiding in the bushes, on the ground beside them are logs that was once being held by them. You immediately notice they have torches in their hand and getting ready to be lit. You notice that one of them is dressed differently than the rest and may actually be the leader.
You realize that you were marching forward and have not stealth, but were not expecting to spot them so quickly. You have enough time to stealth before your approach.

”Alright then moving forward” Making all the necessary last minute choices and preparations the group heads off into the very cloudy morning light heading south. They start heading down south to find out where the kobolds might have been coming from or what has been happening. They can see the pillar of smoke in the sky after about 30 min walk from town. The sky is a dark charcoal grey over the burned farm. Once the group arrives at the farm you can see that majority of the field had burned from the excessive fire. Unsure of the exact number of kobolds it appeared that it may have taken more than one or two. The farmland is fairly vacant, apparently people had left early this morning after the fire had subsided. Roll Perception DC 12:
DC 10 = As you approach, you catch some skirmish patterns on the ground. They appear two groups of 3-4 Kobolds running around the ground. Roll Survival DC 20:
DC 20 = Upon closer examination it is realized that the kobolds were dragging behind them some type of rope on a log. Everything behind the log caught on fire, assuming they were lighting the fields and house on fire with a fire log being drugged behind them. Furthermore, the trail leads off to the North, closing in on buildings that are closer to town.
A man is standing guard watching over the area to insure the fire doesn’t spread out of control. Of course, he is armed with a pitchfork, and doesn’t even notice the groups arrival.

After many undecided thoughts, the group decides to hold up for another day, get previsions, and prepare for the kobold assault. The group goes around and gathers up there scrolls and supplies. Hung pays for a healing spell at the priest to get some healing. ”Healing Cost: 20g” CMW: 2d8 + 12 ⇒ (3, 7) + 12 = 22 ”Thasitalia, you can purchase what you need from the store. After a long day Madam music is very good but reels in half the amount of gold that normally comes in because business is very slow this day. Perform Zorza: 1d3 ⇒ 2 gold The night is very long and everyone is having mix feelings about what they want to do but not long after the morning comes and a new day starts. Immediately after the group comes down stairs, Krong(Yuri) informs the group of the current situation. ”It appears your help might be of dire need, the kobolds have apparently up there game and have set fire to a small farm just south not too far from the town. There attacks grow hastily as the guards don’t have the man power to handle the assaults of both the Orcs and the Kobolds. A few townsmen headed that way this morning; it was about an hour ago. I think they went to put out the fire or aid in the recover. It’s a shame you didn’t head out yesterday you could of prevented poor Jalar death, he was the first to brought back to the church. I believe he was about 6 years old.” Krong took a long time to inform you of all the information, shuddering extremely bad just like Yuri would.

"It sounds like not everyone is ready to go and there is several disagreements. I would continue though I am not sure that everyone is heading out." Krong replies in haste while trying to keep up with an over flood of customers. "Well Sacora has a few CLW potions in the back. I can lend them to you now and you can just pay for them when you get back." Krong is studdering like Yuri typically does, getting a few random looks from people but most wont question the burly man. Krong heads to the back and brings up 6 CLW potions and hands them to Vernonia. "That should do! When you get the chance return the potions or 300g, which ever comes first. Sacora won't mind, they been sitting back there for 5 years."

Krong looks to Thasitalia and whispers very quietly to her. ”It…its all about appearances. I..I am not Kro..Krong. It..Its me Yuri….La…Lady Sacora put spell on me to lo..look like him… Do..Don’t say anything it…its bad for Bu…business” Krong quickly dashes off to the kitchen to fix some food.

The Group spends the night at the Waywyrn Lodge, a restful one that was surely needed. In the morning, everyone feels rested although some still a bit injured from the previous day. ”Everyone heals 1 HP” After gathering your gear and heading down to the bottom floor of the Lodge you notice Krong has returned. This time he appears to be helping serve customers, and not stuck behind the counter. Yuri is nowhere in sight, and the red hair lady is also missing. Krong looks over to each member as they come down. ”Welcome lads, I…I…I hear you be..be…be a heading to knock off some kobolds? You be…be…be in luck, I heard they attacked a farm no…not 1 mile from here, heading south last night.” Krong heads back to work handling a very busy crowd for the morning breakfast. Krong’s large massive size actually looks a little humorous in a white waiter’s apron, serving food and drinks. To the best of your knowledge Krong is suppose to be in the church very ill.

Thasitalia rejoins the group shortly after collecting the 200g reward from the bank; a simple transaction. Vernonia didn’t understand the religion of the priest enough to make a positive statement, but recognized that in the city it was unlikely to be a evil priest and had motive to believe her testimonial. After discussing the task at hand, you had come up with a conclusion and decided to pursue forward but felt that a rest was surely important. The Music was soft and gentle as the evening went on with Zorza playing off and on every so often till she broke from the makeshift stage by the fireplace We have lost a fellow player, Qalifa. How many are continuing the adventure? Also, Which plan of action is the group pursing, Tunnel Expedition or hunt for kobolds?

The very old man replies to Thasitalia: ”Private or not, the letter is still closed is it not?” The old man rattles off to Thasitalia though not is a harmful tone but more of common sense reaction. ”Do you read the letter before delivery?” The group leaves and some head to the Tavern while the others make the delivery to Krong/Sacora granted at the Waywyrn Lodge all the same. Sacora is their again, and looks to the group upon arrival as well as Thasitalia as she approaches her. ”Oh Dear, your group looks to have encountered some injuries, I hope there fall was not to great!” Sacora looks down at the letter that Thasitalia hands her… ”A letter from the old priest, typical of him to send messages rather than visiting me in person; Gezze. Well…” She pauses again while she opens the letter and starts to read catching her by surprise. ”What??? Krong has fallen ill and is at the Church, he needs a rare mushroom that only grows underground to heal him? Where would I find such a mushroom in this place, there no caves around here?” Sacora face turns pale white, not to mention her outburst “What” comment startled a few customers at first, even breaking the music that Madam Zorza started up, though she continues on. ”You responses?” @Zorza: You Earn Perform Earnings: 1d6 ⇒ 4 Gold: Entire evening. You are asked by several people in the tavern if you will be coming back again and perhaps they could book you for an evening for the local festival coming up in a few weeks. Androl looks to Thasitalia and with an intense response, Androl nods and says: ”It’s true that its odd to find a Darkness advocate in my basement, and I accept your apologize for the Half-Orc’s Outrage. You are welcome back to see what darkness lay ahead; I will at least provide you a Lantern to aid in your tunnel exploration after you return from the healer. Rest up, recover your injuries, perhaps it will be better to find task that are more within your capabilities." His tone remains relaxed although easily spotting his stuck up attitude. After your discussion with the noble farmer you head off to the healer. The church was easy to find, although much closer to the big tree in the center of Walking Man City. An old man comes out from one of the back rooms within moments after you arrive, a staff in his left hand supports his old frame from falling as he walks towards the group. A hilt of a sword is carved onto the top of the staff. Roll Religion DC 10:
The deity is Torag, Father of Creation, Forge-Protection-Strategy. LG Of course, this elder man looks up his white hair flowing down his back dressed in a brown and white Robe. Immediately, you realize he is in fact an elf, very old one and for just a moment you question yourself whether or not he is one of the first elves who stayed back, but remember that would make him over a thousand years old and elves don’t live past 750 years of age, or at least never in recorded history. In a crumbling old voice he speaks to everyone, though not really shifting his head towards any one person. ”Yesss… May Torag be your guiding light! How can I help thee today?" He stands in complete silence after that waiting for your response. If Payment is your choice:
”Of course, I will help you recover, it will cost but 20g for your friend, or possible 10g to bring him to consciousness.” Request Task for Payment:
”Very simple, Could you deliver this letter to Krong, or his wife Sacora, I will consider this free of charge”
Hands off a closed letter, but not sealed. A few enchanted words are spoken and waves his right hand over the injured and he is healed. Based on choice: 10g = CLW: 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10 20g or Assignment CMW: 2d8 + 12 ⇒ (8, 1) + 12 = 21 ”Further Actions?

Androl Stops and listens to Hung accuse him of letting some random Orc in his basement, but waits professionally and then replies. ”Actually, I am appalled that you would assume I would have anything to do with an Orc in my basement in these critical times. While you might be a leader of your band of adventures I assure you I am no leader of any Army. I can only assume that the fowl creature came in through that tunnel in the back after the cave in.” Androl points towards the tunnel. ”It may be in all our best interest if you checked it out before I have masons repair the hole; however, I don’t have any more currency for your adventure, should you decide you will not head down the tunnel to explore then I will repair the wall and be done with this problem. I believe someone else can handle the threat should there be one; after all, I am a farmer not a fighter. Although, I will mention that the local clergy may heal your friend, but often ask for payment or complete an assignment in return, of course that always depends on the injury.” Androl waits for a reply then heads to the top of the cellar stairs, turns around and mentions: ”I believe a thank you is in order, so thank you, even with the accusations I still thank you for your service.” Vernonia was listening though she was helping tend to the wounds of Layla. However, she is not in critical condition and alive and kicking but she is badly bruised with a nice size gash across her side, that apparently wasn’t deep enough to keep her bleeding, and fortunately clotted up. ”What are you guys doing?” ”Your welcome to push the story alone using your actions, or continue posting Reponses or actions if not in combat. My delay was only to allow more players to post, but that doesn’t have to slow you down. There are 7 players to interact with.”

Yeah maybe its old school but I love the break down of experience by players. However, I award a lot of random extra stuff to, if you noticed. Things like Story award, bonus objectives, creatures, encounters. I may not have been playing back in 1st edition but Classic 2nd edition was my glory days, but I have played in a 1st edition campaign before. Thanks for the details though. I do recommend that everyone keep track of there experience so they know when to level, which isn't far away....

Androl continues to follow Thasitalia to the cellar talking briefly along the way
Since the house was not far from the cellar the conversation was short as Androl and Thasitalia arrive back at the cellar. He walks into the cellar to assess the damage to his product and checks to see if the bugs are gone. He put his hand on the wall in a particular place near the entrance and the cellar begins to light up with simple light spell imbedded in the ceiling. ”Good, you have dispatched the creatures of the cellar. I must ask, where does this tunnel lead at the back? It appears to go on for some way.” Androl moves about the cellar, though for some reason he stopped in a place for a moment longer than the rest. Androl Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8 Roll Perception DC 8:
Androl attempts to hide whatever it was that he grabbed but apparently doesn’t do as well as he would have liked to. In his hand was a silver flute that he quickly tucked under his noble clothing, before turning back to the group. ”It would appear that everything is good, and so you shell be paid the amount of 200g. However, I do not carry that much currency with me so you will have to retrieve it from the Emerald Justice Bank, the local bank in the Walking Man. Here is a bank note for 200g.” Androl hands the note to whoever takes it while giving a little nod to the group. ”Though it looks like I will have to hire some masons to repair this wall… oh and I am sorry for your injuries, but I don’t recall 7 people here when you arrived, is this one of your apprentence?” Experience Breakdown:: ”This experience is already divided by 7, Total experience at bottom for each player.” Creatures-Encountered 14 Tiny Centipedes. @Hung, I didn't realize that you had Diehard, and I apologize for assuming that you had made a rookie mistake typical of new players. I was not sure of your experience as a player and only thought you were charging in blind. I apologize. As for the heal spell I simply overlooked the wall of text and didn't realize that your HP was current. If you wish you can continue the combat or limb back as you stated as he escapes. The choice is yours?

Hung charges through the hole to strike out against Garwrath, but Garwrath had other plans. Garwrath had taking a penalty to his Armor Class because he was trying to escape; although, still avoiding Hung measly attack. His attention was not directly focused on Hung but with his hasted appearance, he didn’t have time to stick around and turned around to face Hung straight on anyway. ”Fool, you not very wise to attack someone superior to you. I will just have to show you why you should respect your Master.” Direct Attack: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (2) + 19 = 21
Garwrath turns after avoiding the charging attack and delivers a nasty blow to Hung directly to any area that was open, cauterizing the wound as the acid struck Hung. The swing was a wild one as he just spun around while speaking to strike down Hung. ”Hung you were at 1 HP before you charged into combat with Garwrath from the Centipedes, you are now at -11 HP, you are stabilized and not bleeding out. You should consider your Wisdom score of 15 when making actions regardless of race, just a suggestion.” At this point in time, Garwrath is free to escape further down the tunnel, and thankfully for Hung he doesn’t remove his head but leaves his corpse in the tunnel. It appears that everyone is getting ready to get out of the cellar. Although Thasitalia makes it back to the Well dressed man to collect the reward. Upon finding the man he responds to her in a nobile way. ”Oh yes the matter of the 200gp, I will follow you to the cellar to in sure the task has been completed. Though I must ask, you are not the only survivor are you Miss? The man says while following Thasitalia to the cellar doors.

"Bugs have been dispatched by the Orc, though the wall is still open with a tunnel that leads further down into darkness. Qalifa is stabilized, the wound was cauterized immediately when the blade struck Qalifa hand. Garwrath looks at Qalifa this time avoiding the attack, allowing the spear blade to pass him and then he lifts up his Sword to strike Qalifa for his frail attack. The Sabre, Sawtoothed glows green for just a moment as he strikes for the hand that wields the spear rather than a blow to the body. Called shot Hand: 1d20 + 19 - 5 ⇒ (10) + 19 - 5 = 24 "Qalifa Hand"
"If the damage was over 50 points in one blow it would of severed the hand" Qalifa Hand is injured and drops the spear to the floor, a second later the shock of the blow causes him to fall unconscious but doesn’t continue to bleed as the acid cauterized the wound in a strange way. ”Qalifa drops to -9 HP”. As fast as Garwrath had injured the hand he brings the blade up to a standoff with the Halfbreed, knowing full well he could of made strike against him but doesn’t. His once opened guard is now ready for combat should more continue. ”I will spare the rest of you your lives this day, but cross me again and it will be your last, your groups attack have ruined your question Half-breed.” The statement is very brief as he takes his move action and dives into the hole in the wall, which appears to be some form of tunnel that leads further underground. Garwrath doesn’t get far down the tunnel before the round is up.

”Layla, is currently at 1 HP, so yes she is really beat up.” Garwrath perks up at the comment that Hung flings in his direction, but a dark glow about his face gives you that uneasy feeling. Although, you get the since of anger being buried below his expression, but for an Orc he seems to maintain his posture and doesn’t succumb to the taunting words of the Half-breed. Garwrath Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17 Garwarth takes a step back blocking Qalifa from getting completely around his backside and keeping the tunnel route open for his escape. While doing so he intentionally steps into the spear blade as it breaks pass his skin and delivering a small wound to his side. He embraces the impact and shows no effect to his face other than a glancing smile towards Qalifa. Speaking to Hung ignoring the fact that Qalifa stabbed him ”Do you wish to exercise my blade, or will you let me leave! I don’t have time to eliminate peasants’ at the moment but if you continue to hold my blade here, I will be forced to do so. In trade, I will answer one question for my leave. I am not here to dispatch children.” The deep dark Orcish voice gives all a sense of evil that exceeds anything you have met yet.

You are a disgrace to your kind, and should do the world some justice and behead yourself.” The Orc doesn’t even raise his sword, but a dark sinister smile develops across his face rather quickly at the Half-Orc. Still leaving his guard down, hoping that the Half-breed would strike him, completely giving him the raw chance of first blow should he take it. ”If you wish to know, I am Garwrath, third in command of the Legion of Darkness. Fortunately for you, I care little for peasants’.” Garwrath stands at his position, once leaving now at a complete standstill, his gaze ever deep with the Half-breed Orc; Hung. His words bold Common, never changing to his Orcish Language.

Stepping into the light is Medium sized Orc, in nearly full battle gear, an emblem is burned into his open arm of what looks like an Evil eye, with three dashes above the eye much like claw marks but deeply burned in to the skin. He was holding in one hand a shredded sword, and his other a female woman who has twin blue tails of a fox being draped over his shoulder. Upon his sword is the remains of a medium sized Centipede that appears to be skewered right through in one blow. On the floor are several other centipedes that had retreated are strung out dead along the floor. ”Piff, it appears that this plan has been foiled.” The Orc deep dark voice clearly states in Common. ”Good, you can take my weight off my shoulders.” The Orc stretches a bit lowering his sword as the Centipede falls off to the ground slowly catching each one of the saw blades as it tears the flesh of the centipede, hitting the ground in a slight thud. He one handedly tosses the medium sized blue hair fox lady to the ground in front of the group, clearly her body was bruised and beaten very bad though she was still conscious, her body barely had the strength to move. The Orc steps back from the girl though very slowly, his guard completely down, completely caring little for the group as if they posed no threat to him. While slowly backing up, he seemed to be making his way towards one of the walls but it was out of sight from the group. His movements were of no rush, and fact he actually looked to be expecting an attack, as if his face challenged everyone of the group that could see him.

The cellar didn’t appear to be that large, and could actually be smaller than assumed. While the farm above was full of people, the cellar appeared to have less than an average yield of wine for a quarter of months. Upon a very quick inspection, all the wine in this cellar didn’t make since at all it was very cheap, something you could order from a tavern at less than a silver for a bottle, although it was a brand that was high in alcohol and very “very” flammable. You stand around trying to figure out what to do next and you can hear sounds of combat, but it was over within a few seconds. A loud hissing sound could be heard very similar to the one the tiny centipede made but this was much louder. Everyone was almost certain that it sounded like metal clashing against rock and stone from the floor and walls of the cellar. Perception DC 14:

Qalifa begins to start casting a spell to bring forth some manageable creature of nature to help aid in combat; furthermore, Hung is inevitably trapped in a daze spell, which he just can’t break free of. A loud but strange buzz sound comes from within and the creatures retreat into cellar further, while they don’t attack because they are retreating; therefore, no attacks are granted. The remaining attacks never happened for Aerek Through Thasitalia, and a few moments later no one is dazed anymore. There is no light in the tunnel ahead but you can see from the source of the light puffballs floating around that it appears to open up in to a larger cellar room some 15 feet down the hall. It’s a much needed break, and sadly those actions can be replaced with something else, as the rounds are no longer in play until further combat. ”Sorry to make you do all those rolls, but I have to wait till creatures actions, and players actions before there’s. With the might and glory of Vernonia attack, she obliterates the centipede, although not a critical hit it was more than enough to kill it. Zorza followed in Vernonia steps and diced up a centipede with but one blow, squirting green bug juice in all directions. Hung seems to be getting pinned down at the front line and starts trying to wail on the first thing he sees, but the sense of something ahead disrupted his thought long enough to miss the creature before his eyes. Two more creatures move in on the each side in front of Hung, trying to deliver massive amount of damage, but as these things are Tiny, there effects are minimal. Centipede Attack Hung: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25 Centipede Attack Hung Crit Confirmation : 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14 ”Critical Hit”

”Hung take 5 points of damage, and make 4 DC 10 Fort Saves or become Dazed for 2 rounds, effect does not stack so if you failed all its still only 2 rounds.” The two creatures that are hanging around Aerek and Vernonia Centipede Attack Aerek: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8 ”Flanking, Miss”
Centipede Attack Aerek: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13 ”Flanking, Hit”

”Vernonia takes 1 point of damage, and make DC 10 fort save or be dazed for 2 rounds, Go ahead and roll another DC 10 fort Save for round 4, if you pass both you can act, if not then you remained dazed.” Aerek is struggling with the centipedes and changes focus and ends up delivery two attacks, missing one but driving hard into another one killing it with his bare hands, enjoying the yellow sliming guts all over his hands. Meanwhile, Vernonia doesn’t seem to be able to focus, as she just stairs off into the distance as if stars were floating about her head, Dazed. What could it be Zorza ponders as the distraction diverts her attack to the floor, clanging off the hard stone surface! Round 4

Round 3 ”Going to try and simplify round combat here…Bare with me! Qalifa finally gets in there and strikes a mighty Centipede with his spear thrusting it deep into the poor creatures as it shrivels up and dies on the end of his spear, catching that thing flatfooted. Meanwhile Hung holding the front line is working his tail off trying to hit these creatures as they dart by. Finally, the creatures realizing what is going on and that their nest is being invaded turn and begin to show themselves, while still moving fairly fast for 100 leg critters, having the ability to fill 2 to a square and 1 to a square where the wine racks rest. There is only enough room for one person to pass down the hall without bumping wine racks over. Several of them manage to go under the wine racks and attack next in line. ”I am not sure of the marching order, but I know Thasitalia is in the rear, and Hung and Aerek are up front, but I believe Vernonia is right behind Aerek. So something like this – Hung, Aerek, Vernonia, Zorza, Qalifa, Thasitalia. Two swarm in front of Hung, while 2 pull up on each side of him. Centipede Attack Hung: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14 ”Miss”
Centipede Attack Hung: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10 ”miss”
Centipede Attack Hung: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17 ”Flanking, Hit”
Centipede Attack Hung: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20 ”Flanking, Hit”
”Hung take 2 points of damage, and make two DC 10 Fort Saves or become Dazed for 2 rounds.” Two more creatures are able to get around Aerek on both sides flanking him, and also two on Vernonia flanking her as well. Centipede Attack Aerek: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8 ”Flanking, Miss”
Centipede Attack Aerek: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17 ”Flanking, Hit”
”Aerek takes 1 point of damage, and make DC 10 fort save or be dazed for 2 rounds” Centipede Attack Vernonia: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25 ”Flanking, Hit”
Centipede Attack Vernonia: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25 ”Flanking, Hit”
”Vernonia take 2 points of damage, and make two DC 10 Fort Saves or become Dazed for 2 rounds.” Aerek summons some type of element and drives his fist to the floor, although the ground trembles a little from the impact he lifts his hand to discover that missed the fast Centipede. Although, it slipped past Aerek, Zorza didn’t miss it with her cat like grace and diced it hard, although it skitters off into the distance under the wine racks. Thasitalia maintains the orb in the sky and appears to be watching her comrades’ onslaught. No more bugs are able to advance yet, but there still seems to be plenty of them around. Perception Check DC 17:
From all the combat is hard to notice additional sounds but it seems like there is still something bigger up ahead making a bit larger sound, as if your hearing foot soldieries, hundreds of them, but that would be impractical consider the size of the space. Round 3

Round 1
At the start, everyone is trying to gather their thoughts getting ready to dive into an unknown source of bugs, typically known as House centipedes. These things are very large for your typical Centipedes but thankfully, they are only considered Tiny in perspective to humanoids. There appears to be gaps under the wine rack as they skitter about sometimes even passing between, through your legs, and under another wine rack. Qalifa takes the time to study these unsually sized Centipedes and with further knowledge understands that they are practically everywhere and are typically easy to kill, although knowing there bites are fairly weak, a mass amount of them can really lead to problems, even dazing people in and out of combat. Hung is looking around downstairs and while he is able to hear them he doesn’t quite notice them yet, until the light reaches downstairs and lights up the surrounding area giving Hung a moment to adjust from darkvision and into the light, now able to see the creatures stirring about. ”You can attack them next round Hung since you were delayed in your post.” The creatures completely oblivious to the groups’ presence at the current time they only seem interesting and skittering around.
Zorza wasn’t sure if it was the tight spaces or the creatures skittering about that caused her blade to fall short slicing the tip off a wine bottle as the centipede darts under the wine rack. Fortunately only the cork was damaged and not the bottle. Thasitalia moves slowly downstairs with her willow wisp floating about creating a rainbow of colors, gaining the same knowledge Qalifa did about the bugs. Although they have yet to act, after hearing the squeal of their fallen centipede it is guaranteed that they are to return the favor as any colony of bugs would. Round 2

The creatures aren’t attacking but they are running around under the wine racks. On a quick count you can estimate that there are about 12-14 of these House centipedes. Thasitalia recognizes that these are fairly harmless for damage, although there poisonous and can be cause you to be dazed.

Everyone gets ready for the time of their lives as the group nearly dives into the Cellar with a heroic response. Zorza looks back and watches the group to insure that everyone is ready as she unlocks the door. At first, you can’t see anything accept the few strays of light cast by the sunlight. There is a few steps leading to the bottom about 10 feet down. Near the bottom of the steps you don’t see anything, but the light catches the sight of a table, and what looks like a possible narrow passageway leading further on into absolute darkness. Everyone Perception Roll, DC 14:
Those who pass can hear the sound of what sounds like thousands of skittering bugs echoing across the floor as they begin to enter the cellar. Hung slowly moves forward with his weapon drawn leading the way and due to his darkvision he is able to make out hundreds of bottles of wine, and a long hallway leading away. ”This is what you see, but an unlit version. Although, this extends much further into darkness.”Cellar Picture Creatures Stealth: 1d20 + 19 - 7 ⇒ (9) + 19 - 7 = 21”Out of environment penalty" Hung additional Perception Check, followed by those who follow him down into the cellar: DC 21: Skittering across the ground in-between several of the racks of wine are what look to be some type of Tiny Centipede, there are more then you can count immediately. At first glance, they don’t appear to be attacking anyone, or moving in your direction.
