Seeing Alric standing there sleeping, Shadei moved over to wake him up. "Alric, wake up. You can't let this bastard hold one over on us."

Shadei's eyes started to get heavy but she shook her head to get out of it. However, her vision was still a bit blurry.

Seeing Alric completely crush the rat. Shadei moved in and attacked the other rat.

Making her way back to the main room, not too far from Alric, Shadei looked down the hallway.
"And I thought this room was creepy. What are the odds this bastard is behind those scary doors?"

Slipping her dagger into her rope belt and moved off with Alric for further scouting.

Shadei pulled a dagger from the armory and asked, "Who wants this dagger?"

Looking at the locks on the footlockers and the heavy door on the other end of the room, Shadei had a thought.
"Didn't those rats have keys?"

A slight smile involuntarily crossed her face as she moved to the other side of the room.

Shadei took the offered dagger and moved off with Alric to check the room.

"I didn't get a chance, but Alric and I could go take a look real quick." She glanced over at the boy.

After getting the bodies moved back to the cells, Shadei had a suggestion, "Maybe there's more gear were these came from? It's probably empty now."

Shadei looked around at the bodies, "Perhaps we could drag them back into the room they came from?"

Shadei gasped awake before going into a coughing fit.
"Wha...what happened?"

Noticing the weakened condition, Shadei swung her fists hoping to put it down.

With a surprised yelp, the Elf quickly scrambled to her feet, pulled the vial from earlier, and threw it at the rat thing.

Quietly Shadei moved over to Alric and whispered, "Anything?"

"I'll come with you."
The Elf attempted to slip between the shadows as well. She headed towards one of the right doors and listened.
Sneak up to the rightmost door and listen at it.

"Well that isn't creepy in the slightest," Shadei remarked sarcastically as she looked out of the door.
Turning to the rest, "How do we want to proceed from here?"

Turning to the rest of the group, "Anyone want the dagger?"

Not seeing any threats in the room, Shadei headed back to the detention cells, "The next room is clear."
Turning to Zaranna she asked, "Can I have those keys?"

The Elf startled a little with Fel's voice changed. Feeling a little uncomfortable, she took a step through the doorway then turned and asked, "Whoever is scouting, fall in behind me."

Shadei looked at the other gnome with a look of slight confusion.

"Now that sounds like a good plan uh.....Elyana. Is everyone okay with that?"
Shadei turned to Fel and Kai then smiled, "You stay next to me little ones."
Moving to the door the Elf asked, "Alright, who is scouting with me?"

"I'm not suggesting we leave this place without them. I'm suggesting that half of us find the way out of here, then come back and get the rest. Six people will have an easier time sneaking around than twelve."

Looking around at all the freed children, the Elf made an assessment. "I don't think all of us can make it out of here at once. It would be better if perhaps half of us stayed here while the other scouts for a way out."

Shadei quickly moved into Alric's open cell and waited for the opportune moment.

As Shadei moved to unlock Elyana, she replied, "Hello."
Thievery: 1d20 + 5 - 1 ⇒ (8) + 5 - 1 = 12
Thievery: 1d20 + 5 - 1 ⇒ (20) + 5 - 1 = 24
It took an extra moment to unlock, because the Elf's eyes kept looking back at Elyana's face. But soon enough she got it unlocked.
She then moved to Zaranna's cell.

Again slightly distracted Shadei's cheeks turned slightly red as she worked the lock free.

The Elf moved to Alric's cell. Her eyes went wide for a moment when she saw his face, "I know you. You're from that family of hunters I'm always seeing stalking around the swamp. You shot a squirrel I was hunting last week."
She tried to pick the lock while she was talking.

With little effort, she got the door unlocked. "I'm Shadei by the way."

The with a little bit of work, the Elf managed to hear the distinct 'click' that unlocked her door.
Gently swinging it open she asked, "Who's next?"

Waking up in what was not her lean-to, the Elf was confused. The last thing she heard was a strange music coming from the swamp. Now she was here. What in the Hells? She thought.
Feeling an urge to get out, she looked around for anything she could use.
Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
Managing to find something slender and stiff, she started working on the lock. It was then she noticed that others were around.
Looking at the boy shaking across the way. "Psst. Hey, what's going on here?" <<< This is to you Cardren btw.

The Elf's eyelids grew heavy and soon her head slumped as the magical sleep took her. Somehow she was still standing with the dagger in her hand.

Getting up from the floor, Shadei took aim and flung her dagger at the remaing rat.

Cursing under her breath as her aim went wide, she drew another dagger.

Completely forgot about these. Spending my one Hero Point to make a Heroic Recovery.
With the rat startled by the dagger throw from the Piper, Shadei reached down into that place which has kept her alive on the streets and forced herself awake.
Pulling a dagger she stabbed at the rat.

Shadei gave Kamira a wry little grin, "Oh I won't." She said before stuffing the cloth in her ears.
Giving herself a calming exhale, she approached the doors.

"I can be the bait. It's been a part I've played many times," Shadei said as she moved her daggers to behind her back.

The Elf turned towards the rat, "What do we do with him?"

Looking over the various pieces of gear, Shadei picks up another dagger.
"Can never have enough of these."

Shadei made sure to keep a dagger point in the rats back all the way to the door.

The Elf snuck up behind the Ratfolk and put a dagger to his throat, "What's behind the big locked door in your room?"

Shadei attempted to slide her dagger into a weak point in the rat's armour.

As the Elf's dagger was about to strike true, the rat managed to get his shield in the way to block it.

Feeling Asmodeus' unholy power surge through her, Shadei flashed a smile at Kamira before pulling a dagger and moving off to strike at the nearest rat.

As quietly as possible, the Elf padded into the room and off to the right, ducking behind one of the beds.

With everyone ready, Shadei opens the door.

Shadei placed her hand on the door handle and looked back at the others to be sure that they were ready.

The Elf moved over to the body and scooped up the remaining five daggers along with the sheaths and strapped them to her body.
With a hand on her hip, she asked, "Which way now? We only have two doors left."

Seeing the opportunity, as she had on so many break-ins before, the Elf moved in and stabbed at the leg.
