Hi Chronicles are up and the game has been submitted for reporting.

Chronicles

Leaving sometime for you to relax and the party to resume after the unexpected excitement of the attempted Assassination, Luwazi eventually takes to the stage, tapping their glass to garner attention, though the effort seems to be etiquette rather than necessity - the First Seekers gravitas demanding attention with simple action. She takes a look around the room, the shattered window behind them subtly placed as areminder of the Starfinder's power.

“I had planned for this evening’s announcement to be an exciting
one, but I’ll admit this is not quite what I had in mind,”
the First Seeker begins, her smile wry but determined. “Now I find my
resolve only further galvanized. As many of you know, the First Seeker has the privilege and the responsibility for choosing the direction of the Starfinder Society’s research efforts. I have refrained from setting such a direction while we regroup and rebuild—an undertaking which all of you here have made possible. Also, the fact that Guidance has not yet chosen to formalize my election is another matter, but not one the Society can risk dwelling on. Now that the Society is again in a position to reach for the stars, I am pleased to formally announce the focus of our efforts during my tenure. Thanks to the tireless research of my associate Royo, we have identified a lead on understanding the Scoured Stars incident. And so, the Starfinder Society will continue researching the Scoured Stars, in the hopes of reuniting with our lost colleagues and better understanding this phenomenon.”

The First Seeker meets your eyes in the crowd, adding, “And I already have highly qualified agents in mind to undertake the first mission!”

There is a moment of surprised quiet over the room, and then the
guests, starting with Ykris, begin to applaud in force. Iteration-177 regards the elected First Seeker with an indiscernible expression, slowly joining in on the applause. Royo nods enthusiastically, taking in some of the fanfare for his role in the announcement. Naiaj frantically appends work orders, noticeably perturbed by some news she has just received. Zo! actively backs away from the assembled group, still enthusiastically clapping but also making desperate calls to acquire televised rights to all Scoured Stars related endeavors.

With the final address, the party starts coming to an end, with guests leaving the hall - abuzz with the night's goings on and the promise mde by Luwazi.

Oda rolls through the window, though they stagger on the landing spoiling their aim as the Assassin turns the whirring Fangblade with their knife. Using the Half-orc as a distraction Patterson calmly takes aim with their heavy artillery piece and squeeze the trigger, the laser blast catches the curly haired Lashunta and burns a hole through their shoulder - causing them to crash to the ground in a spray of ichor. As they land they slowly start to shift back into their natural form - that of a dark green reptilian humanoid.

COMBAT OVER

Those allies to the Starfinders not aware of the attack are shocked at the display, trays and drinks clattering to the ground. Luwazi, the real one, smiles calmly. The guests you had all spent your time wooing give you a wave, a smile or in the case of Iteration a toast with their glass. Several members of Radazasm’s organisation secure the assassin and ensure they don’t bleed out - they aren’t confident they will find much, but they will try. For now you are lavished as the heroes of the hour!

Just going to bed now so will post the conclusion in the morning - for now feel free to mingle and bask in the glory ^^. Please make sure all your info is on the slide and i’ll do chronicles too!

Hadir's Pike and Oda's whirring blade strikes out but the assailant twists round the weapon, avoiding damage. Rilyn's shot too misses, but one of the last clone dissipates leaving the would-be Assassin dashing through the crowd on their own.

Suddenly they stagger, their complexion becoming grey as the ichor pumps out of them.

Taking advantage of Patterson's brief diversion, Oda strikes out with their fangblade, the blade bites deep and the curly haired woman starts bleeding profusely, purplish ichor pouring out. The Assassin takes a step away from the console and with a flicker several copies of them appear. They seem to be preparing to bolt.

Patterson - Both doors are open. Rilyn, your character sheet says you have 12 dex, so would be adding +1 to your ranged attacks ^^

Rilyn squeezes off a cautious shot, winging the Assassin and causing them to curse which gives Hadir the opportunity to strike, their Pike catching them low a purplish ichor spreading from a cut to their leg. Patterson makes their way to the AV room where they can see their friends battling the woman.

Meanwhile, with almost contemptuous ease for the Assassin's plans - Kat works upon the explosive's detonator and is soon rewarding with a satisfying click as the last one is disabled. With the threat to First Seeker neutralised, all that is left is to take out the would-be assailant and prove your skill to the Society and their allies.

Patterson put a dent in one, but of the three you have found, they were all disabled by your allies and one you hadn't found yet was disabled by Ykris.

Kat finds the final explosive, directly across the stage from them, crawling beneath the stage, they begin their work on disabling it. Rilyn rushes out and finds the closed door in front of them, with a swipe of their id, the door begins to open. Meanwhile, the true Luwazi ducks behind one of the buffet tables to keep the Lashunta's ruse plausible.

Hadir keeps up their fighting with the curly haired woman as Oda rushes in behind them, feeling a boost from Edward's boosting cocktail. The foe ducks under Hadir's spear and upon seeing the Half-orc, they assess the danger.

Hearing Hadir's telepathic missive but unable to see them due to the Aluminium window, Oda rushes from the ballroom towards their Kasatha ally, making their way through the hall. Smiling at Rilyn, Luwazi moves closer to the Lashunta, avoiding the stage where Zo! continues to espouse the virtues of the Society, though you can tell their speech is coming to a natural conclusion.

AV Room:
The woman's eyes widen slightly as the taclash is drawn, before narrowing. "I am sorry sir, but I can't afford the distractions!" as she says the last word, the woman darts forwards revealing a knife they had palmed. Hadir strikes out with their lash but it is deftly dodged.

Sorry, busy schedule and recovering from illness, going to try to get back to once a day. Hadir, I moved you up realising you could run - I thought I'd posted clarifying, but clearly forgot. If you want to attack a bomb, just roll damage - not difficult to hit

Taking advantage of their closeness, Rilyn begins to disarm an explosive, (it takes a full round, so you will have a Standard action to use in Round 3) taking care and following the scraps of instructions pointed out by Kat, the flashing red light goes out and the device is no longer active.

Edward and Kat move in on the stage to start work on disarming the two other devices found so far. As they do so, they spy a flit of movement between them as Ykris slithers past to a fourth explosive, this one beneath Zo!'s position on stage, the Symbiote begins a disarming sequence of their own, with a nod towards Kat.

Round 2 Hadir:
Assuming you were continuing to the AV room

Opening the Door to the SKyreach's control room, you can see several screens showing various angles of the ball room beyond from video cameras. There are also several stations for controlling the sound from the podium.

The only occupant of the room is a curly haired Lashunta woman, watching Zo!'s speech with interest, ignoring the screens showing several Starfinders crawling underneath the stage. From here, the ballroom is silent as the Transparent Aluminium window blocks out the sound. The Lashunta turns as you enter the room and coughs awkwardly.

"Excuse me sir, this room is for Staff only - if you are looking for the restrooms, they are further down the hall on your left." they say professionally, "I suggest you leave."

The AV room was closed, so your turn was spent entering it.

As Hadir darts up the corridor towards the AV booth at the top of the hall, the rest of the agents begin searching the room for these planted explosives. Speaking with Naiaj - Rilyn spies one under the stage, right next to her! Similarly, Edward and Patterson both spy further explosives on the opposite side of the stage, though Patterson does so quite obviously, ducking low and peering under tables whilst Oda stomps around.

Noticing something is up, Zo! Flashes you all a sly smile as they take to the stage, lightly tapping upon a microphone to gain the attention of those present. "Well met friends, Starfinders and esteemed guests. I do hope you will permit me but a moment of your time to talk about why we are all here."

Now you have found the explosives, you can attempt an Engineering check to disable one. Alternatively, you can attempt to destroy them by hitting them with a Kinetic Weapon

Liberty's Edge

Consortium Compact

Having made your decision, you take the final lift through the sparks that will take you to the Lorespire Complex. As you enter the Complex, you are met by a Drone sent by Venture Captain Naiaj that hands you Six Mk2 Serums of Healing. "If you show the co-operation you managed earlier, I have all the faith in you Agents." the Drone states in the Captain's voice, a pre-recorded message. You also receive an COmms Message from Royo, it is brief and to the point.

Royo's Note:
Starfinders, this particular model of explosive is very stable to kinetic damage and can be safely disarmed by simply
smashing it hard enough, any kind of energy damage is likely to detonate them upon impact.

You are able to take the elevator back up to the Skyreach room without incident, now it is time for you to find the explosives and deal with the Assassin. Your first task is to find both of them within the party.

We are in initiative rounds, but not specifically combat unless you find the Assassin. Each round you can move around freely. To search for an explosive, you need to make a Perception check. You will also need to try and avoid notice whilst doing this - Stealth and Bluff are suggested, but any other distraction you can think of I am happy to take.

Searching through the Hab unit, you find several clues - Kat's looks are good enough through the wrappers to find a torn up manual, though clearly it was done in either haste or a surity they would not be caught for the Android is able to piece together enough information to gain insight in how the explosives can be disarmed.

+2 to checks to disarm the explosives

With a good show of Co-operation, the Computer soon reveals it's secrets to you all, though you don't recall the woman. Rilyn knows that the person is not famous or in a particularly high circle - likely chosen just for that reason. But might be able to recognise them if they see them.

As you rush back through the Sparks to the Skyreach tower, you can get Radazasm on the comm-number the Vesk provided, the sounds of the party are muted in the background, clearly they are in the hall again. "My Spiders have worked to lock down the Tower, but no luck here - what have you found?" Filling them in, the leader smiles with grim determination. "Seems like you're working with a Shapechanger - something scaled I imagine in it's natural form." they offer as you give their information.

"I see two options here for you Starfinders." they say after a moment as you hop into one of the final lifts on the way to the Tower. "First is that you find and deal with the Assassin whilst my Spider's remove the explosives." they pause as to let the plan sink in. "The Second plan is riskier - but will show the Station that the Starfinders are more than capable of dealing with their own problems, a show of Strength if you will. My Spiders could stick with outer security whilst you all deal with both the Explosives and the Assassin. Regardless of your choice, I will let the Starfinder Agents here know of the plan and update them with the information found, The guests will be kept safe, but I don't wish a panic to alert the Assassin into doing anything... rash. What do you say?"

You can take a 10 minute rest on your travels if you desire, also, you need to choose which of the two plans you would like to try. No Pressure either way, Radazasm will try to answer any questions.

Patterson strikes the creature with a solid blow from their baton as Rilyn scorches its flesh slightly. Getting a feel for their rhythm, Hadir steps forth and strikes out with their spear, skewering the creature and it falls dead. Taking a few deep breaths, you have a chance to search the bay for clues.

The first obvious find is a backpack which contains: an unremarkable set of clothing, a suit of freebooter armor II and an anchoring fusion seal (5th), a hygiene kit including a vial of Dagret’s Scalesheen Oil and a jar of FLĒQ Texture Cream for Curly Hair, and a computer.

There are also a bunch of discarded food wrappers you can search through.

Perception, DC 20:
among the discarded wrappers are a series of packaging for five industrial explosive devices

To hack the computer, you can attempt a Computers check. Max 3 attempts

Computers, DC 29:
Unlocking the Computer, you discover records of infosphere searches for a human woman named Sanivvi Acheosi, a tawny-skinned woman with wildly curly hair currently residing on Castrovel, and several pages of instructions and videos for styling curly hair.

Perception, if the Computers check is passed. DC 22:
You recall having seen a staffer at the gala who matches this appearance working on the audiovisual setup for the event.

Looking at the computer, you notice a partition that has been fire walled off for additional security.

Separate Computers check, DC 27:
The module contains a file with a list of names, dates, and locations, cumulating with an alarming entry: “Luwazi Elsebo; Lorespire Complex, Skyreach Room, gala” and the present date. With a few minutes of research using the local infosphere, the PCs can ascertain that every individual on the list is recently deceased, save for Luwazi; the obituary dates and locations correspond with the dates and locations in the files, but the causes of death are widely varied. Most notably, those few that are documented as homicides all list radically different perpetrators: individuals of varying gender, race, and background.

Aids are allowed on the computers checks

Working together, RIlyn and Edward discover the presence of a rudimentary trap hooked up to the control panel needed to access the engineering bay - it is clear to the two of them that someone had messed with the wiring to provide a powerful shock to anyone attempting to open the door without first disabling it. With a moment the two find the correct wiring and snip it, disrupting the flow and the threat to either side. Then, working in unison due to the telepathic links, the two separate teams count down from three and - in sync - slide open their respective doors to reveal the insides of the bay.

Rusted crates and plastic barrels crowed this cramped workspace. Discarded R2E packaging, beverage pouches, and packing material litter the space. A ledge along the south wall holds a stack of rubber mats in an approximation of a bed beside a high-quality industrial backpack. Ragged wires droop from an exposed conduit along the northern wall, occasionally showering the room in sparks as the lights flicker. You also find that you are not alone - Two Serpentine creatures rest within, and let out a high pitched scream and move to attack.

No - but the Site went immediately into maintenance so I couldn't fix itthe real one is below

Computers 16:
You find records of the address Radaszam gave them: a small, scrappy work bay that’s seen plenty of turnover over the last few months (so much so that the most recent for-rent ad still comes up on a successful search).

Fully prepared in the best way you know how you stand before the Work bay Radazasm's contacts reveal to be the current base of operations of the notorious assassin. The flickering lights around the bay doors reveal that they are both closed.

there are two possible entrances to the building - despite how they look on the map they are both closed.

We are now on Slide 7 - if you haven't already please copy a token over and fill in the details on Slide 2 ^^

After the journey through increasingly industrial elevators, youarrive in the rough-and-tumble neighborhood of Sparks. The air carries a distinctive metallic tang of mechanical industry, sharp chemical smells, and the stale odors of countless living beings crammed into too-tight spaces. The corrugated metal corridors are cramped, with ceilings only 10 feet high and lit only with stark LED lighting strips; the grinding, clanging, clattering sounds of countless engineers at work carry through the halls.

You are hardly alone in the clamour of a working sector that never truly sleeps, but you attract little attention amongst the residents
and workers who have little interest in tasks other than their own. It takes you only a few minutes to traverse the corridors to the address Radaszam provided; The stained plastic door of this engineering bay is no different from the dozens lining the grimy hallway. A glaring LED lighting strip illuminates the address code imprinted along the doorframe. Every few seconds, this light, along with all the others along the corridor, flickers briefly. Though the sounds of industry still echo through the corridors, this section clearly sees less traffic and is currently devoid of passersby.

Sorry - been trying to post but the forums are not playing ball

Radazasm looks at Rilyn, their yellow reptillian eyes blinking slowly at the peeved tone from the agent. "Yes, the First Seeker is aware - this isn't my first gig." they reply flatly, voice dripping with sarcasm. He then turns to Edward, their smooth tone returning as if their previous statement hadn't happened. "Station Security are not yet aware - not enough evidence to go on and my Spiders are on protection duty. If you find something more substantial and feel the need we can move in on it.

As you take the offered gear, Radazasm leaves you to continue their own preparations and ensure their mercenary unit is in place. Travel to the Sparks from the Lorespire Complex is via a series of long lifts that traverse the Spike - a journey that takes 15 minutes. Whilst you travel you can search the Absalom Station infosphere for news and rumours about the assassin.

You can either make a computers check to search up the address, or a Culture check about the Assassin. It is one check for each - if you get 21 or higher you can open both spoilers

Radazasm smiles at Hadir's acceptance of the task and then turns to Rilyn. "All my contacts were able to discover is that the Assassin is a particularly hard-to-trace individual known as Triloteya. They were traced to a rented engineering bay in the Sparks."

With a follow-up ping to your comm units, Radazasm provides the address "Go to the address, check it out and if you find any evidence of who the Asassin might be or what they're plan of attack is then radio in and we'll go from there. Good luck agents".

Will leave it for any more questions - will probably post up the next bit tomorrow to move us on but will try to reply to any queries you may have in the meantime.

Liberty's Edge

As the display finishes to a round of applause, the group receive a ping from Radazasm, indicating that they should join the Vesk outside in one of the service halls surrounding the Skyreach room. When you all gather, Radazasm is clearly tense and not in the same jovial mood they were before.

The burly vesk doesn’t mince words. “We’ve got a situation on our hands. I’ve been following rumors of a somewhat notorious assassin who only recently showed up on Absalom Station. I just heard from one of my contacts that signs point to the First Seeker as the assassin’s next target—and if that’s the case, the assassin will almost certainly make a move tonight." they let it sink in before continuing.

“Now here’s the thing. I’ve got enough security here that no one’s really in any danger; and besides, Luwazi’s no stranger to a fight. But it’d look really bad for the Society if someone took at shot at her in front of all these high-ups, you know what I mean?" again they let their words sink in.

“On the other hand, if a team of crack Starfinders were to investigate the rumours and unmask the assassin, we’d be able to show that we can still hold our own and add some, oh, let’s say, gravitas to the First Seeker’s announcement tonight. Defeat this assassin in style, impress the investors, make yourselves look good in the process... What do you say?”

They then pause and pull out a case, handing it over. "A gift from the First seeker and I for a job well done in there."

Gifts:
a pair of flash grenades II, a fangblade and a set of elite defiance series armour

And With that everyone is impressed well done all!

Whilst Edward shares interesting data with the Gnomish venture Captain, who takes a few snap shots and does some working out on a datapad - putting down the one pinging her about the Drow on Apostae to do so. "Fascinating, a truly unique phenomenon indeed!" they reply with wonder.
The other side of the room is a different manner of beast entirely however, as Oda and Patterson team up to provide a truly acrobatic and athletic display - the Half-orc showing off their core strength in standing firm as the Human performs an effortless flip from the palm of their hands. As they flip and fly, Hadir moves in a synchronised pattern, timing their thrusts and spins with the physical display - the spear darting out in between a particularly wonderful backflip, seemingly passing within inches of Patterson.

Rilyn rushes to the Tech-guy, finding that they were a step ahead of her, already filming the display. "Haha! This will go great on the next infomercial for the Society - Come for the parties... stay for the acrobats!" they chuckle.

Turning to the Human as they approach, Zo! looks Patterson up and down, as if appraising their physique. With the offer of a show, they step back and indicate that the soldier should indeed continue. Their eyes widen as Patterson flips first to one hand and then an effortless flip. They clap elegantly as Patterson returns to their feet and sticks the landing.

"Wonderful! Simply wonderful! You must simply have your people talk to mine - I have the perfect role in mind!" the Elebrian replies with a wide smile, clearly satisfied.

Oda and Zo!

Disengaging from the First Seeker, the Half-orc makes their way to Zo! who is watching in apparent glee as a Half-Elf Starfinder, a veteran agent by their gear, tries an odd smoking delicacy offered to them. The Half-Elf begins to cough almost immediately as their eyes begin to stream. Shrugging, Zo senses Oda's presence and spins - the wide grin never leaving their parchment-coloured face.

"Well hello there! It has been a while hasn't it? You did wonderfully indeed, very tough!" Zo! happily reminisces with Oda about their experience - waiting patiently for them to reply.

Yeah they use the term 'rounds' to break it down but the time is very vague - the party lasts hours so things like detect thoughts can be used, but due to the nature of the event it calls out that it can be used on one individual (likely because they move around and it isn't easy to get them in a handy cone.

Rilyn, you used Sense motive on Royo - but you already know what can be used for them, i've pulled forth what you know, including what Oda has discovered on Zo! - feel free to use another skill this round, keep the 18 i don't mind:

NAIAJ: PCs demonstrating competence in the field through a successful Computers, Engineering, or Piloting check (or other checks, if demonstrated effectively) can impress Naiaj. She can also be persuaded that cunning words can preclude combat altogether via a successful Diplomacy check, though this is harder to accomplish.

ROYO: Though at first dismissive of anyone who attempts to join their discussion, Royo is impressed by any PCs who can step into the circle of scholars and hold their own via a successful Culture, Life Science, Mysticism, or Physical Science check to recall knowledge. A PC can also impress Royo with a successful Profession check in any nondigital or specifically historical field.

Special: Characters whose theme grants a DC reduction with one of the above skills can apply that reduction to checks to impress Royo.

Zo! As he is keeping an eye out for new talent for an upcoming project with a lot of “action scenes,” Zo! is particularly impressed by PCs who can demonstrate their abilities through Acrobatics or Athletics checks, Bluff checks to feint, or even a showy display with a weapon (Attack roll).

Special: A PC who has the icon theme can attempt a check with her Profession skill to impress Zo!

Luwazi listens to you all intently, her smile growing wider as you report your successes so far. Taking a sip from her drink - a vibrant green affair sparkling with silver glitter - she nods before replying. ”Wonderful, you all seem to have a good grasp of your situations and it is good to hear you are faring well and know your limitations - crucial in high pressure situations.”

The First Seeker takes another sip of her drink before you see someone attempt to catch her eye at the other edge of the stage - an Eoxian diplomat who is waiting patiently. Spying them Luwazi smiles and indicates the party. ”As you can see my job is mever done, and you still have some time to see to your own task agents. You are right in that Iteration is ‘eating out of your hand’ as you put it and Ykris seems more than satisfied with your knowledge and gossip.” she says before continuing ”Venture Captain Naiaj and Royo are both happy but i feel a little more would see them totally swayed - As you have guessed Zo! Will require a bit more work, but you should find out what makes them tick first.”

Luwazi bids you all good luck before excusing herself to speak with the diplomat.

You know have a few more rounds to totally impress them. Ykris and Iteration are done so just Naiaj, Royo, both of whom are close and Zo! Who will need some work

As you conversations begin to come to their natural conclusions, First Seeeker Luwazi Elsebo catches your attention from her s-pot beside the stage, bidding her guest - a well dressed Human Man - a good evening. Calling over a waiter to ensure your glasses are topped up the First Seekers greets you warmly, her bionic arm tugging at the formal wear she has donned for the occasion as if uncomfortable in it.

"Evening Agents, I trust you are having a good time? Such times are not the usual I know, but you seem to be doing quite well - the guests look happy and relaxed." she greets you all and, after waiting for you to repeat such pleasantries she smiles. "Tell me, how do you think it is going? I always enjoy the feelings from my Agents on the ground."

Round 3:

Edward continues in their attempt to impress Naiaj with their tales of interesting beasts
Rilyn and Iteration share an incredible experience
Kat makes small talk with Ykris, learning more about the Parasite which should help.
Patterson makes overtures to Zo! but doesn't seem to influence the Elebrian
Hadir Is overwhelmed by the Inellectuals who's theories go beyond their own modest studies.

Rilyn and Hadir discusses the theories of Gods and Free Will with Royo
Patterson and Kat trade gossip with Ykris
Edward flatters Zo! on their work

Oda to go in round 3 and four - Might be worth Sense motive on Zo! for an action to try and puzzle out the enigmatic Undead.

So as mentioned after round 4, there is an interlude - I'll post it later tonight for the weekend, Oda feel free to take your actions.

Just a heads up - it's my birthday this weekend so I will be trying to get on, but it might be Monday

Patterson and Ykris - Round 4

Overhearing Kat gossiping with the Parasite and their Host, Patterson effortless slides into the conversation, the Half-Elf holds out a hand for them to shake in way of greeting, continuing their conversation. At Patterson's tidbit they smile "Truly - I always assumed a leader of the Exo-Guardians would be Stoic and proper! Well, I suppose it must be the Shirren desire to break the mould! I'm not much of a Sugar-Pop fan myself however, I much prefer the classics - so soothing and wonderful to work along too!"

Edward and Zo! - Round 4

The Undead Media Mogul turns on Edward as they approach, holding out a platter of sea urchins from one of Liavara's water moons, holding out for the Human to sample with a wide grin. "You must simply try these! Tell me what they taste like, what's the texture? Please, I'm just dying to know." They chuckle at their own joke, winking at Edward.

After pausing to allow them to sample, Zo! continues "What's that? oh yes, no matter - they were doing poorly in the ratings anyhow - people want to see Inside Salvation's End! Not merely follow those who have seen it." They wave the concern away, allowing Edward to ply them with flattery.

"Ahh yes When Red turns to Black!, Zo! replies, dredging up the soundbite title for the piece. "Yes, well a dead audience doesn't make for riveting tv! Tell me, have you ever thought about being behind a Camera?"

Hadir and Royo - Round 4

Having found the bearing a bit after their first effort fell abit flat, Hadir finds their stride in the debate on the nature of the gods and Royo and their group find the focus shift to the priesthood a fascinating diversion and latch on to it. "Hmm, perhaps you are right - the Veskarium can clearly be defined as a Theocratic Empire, and the Voices of Damaritosh hold great sway there." the wizened Ysoki nods enthusiastically. "Perhaps with the Gods detachment, we should be wary of what others will do in their name."

Kat5e and Ykris - Round 4

Ykris too indicates to the server that they would like something fresh to drink as the conversation turns from business to gossip. The Half-Elf host smiles deliciously at the tone, clearly influenced by their Parasite's desire. They nod politely as Kat begins the tale. "Ooh, public scandal! A delight!" they reply to the beginning, having seen something of the race on the Infoshpere as it caused quite a stir "I am glad you did so well, I know all too well the pain of indiscretions coming to light - it can be such a chore eh?"

They raise their glass for a toast as the tale comes to a close, their smile broadening as they truly relax.

Royo sniffs slightly at Oda's mention of recording, "Hmm yes, i do remember hearing about that - well at least you got to seeit raw which is a rarity in our modern Era." they reply to Oda, "I can already see your penmanship improving, you may keep the journal as a gift!"

Rilyn and Royo - Round 4

As they finish up with Oda, Royo turns to regard the young Lashunta that had begun talking with their associates and smiles at the metaphysical debate beginning. "Little is known of the old Absalom - much to our detriment I fear. For it to grant the name to the very Station that has replaced the Planet Golarion must mean it was impressive indeed! I cannot wait for the day that the secrets of the Gap are laid bare for all."

The Ysoki gets a wistful look for a moment "The Gods were truly influential once that is true, but it is interesting to see how the direct Influence they have has degraded over the years - now they exist and people pray but it seems they have less power over mortal - some Opine that it is'Will' as you say, others that it is our reliance on technology which has caused the waning - interesting to be sure."

Sorry a busy day so only just got chance to update.

You don't currently have an idea how well you're doing, your interactions with each other are fairly brief - enough to share a few polite words and grab a drink etc.

Carrying on the re-cap:

Edward Attempts to Impress Naiaj with Practical Science
Hadir Attempts to Woo Iteration with stories of adventure
Rilyn Attempts to impress Iteration with tales of Artefact plunder
Patterson Attempts to prove to Naiaj that they work well in a ship.
Oda converses in written word with Royo, impressing the Ysoki with their knowledge

Round 3:

Kat5e and Ykris, Round 3

Continuing their conversation and seemingly happy that it has moved on from the more mundane aspects of their work - Ykris smiles through their Half-Elf Host and responds to Kat's upfront question regarding their interest in the Society. "Well, I have no malign intentions I assure you - I just think CeriCore and others should be supporting the Society after the loss of so many members to the Scoured Stars. The Society has done a lot to restore knowledge of the gap and explore the stars and now we are in a position to help, we should." Ykris explains, pausing as their Host takes a sip of their drink. "I have been lobbying to such a purpose and my dealings with Luwazi got me an invite here, and a wonderful time it has been!"

Ykris' Influence:
Ykris is ingratiated to anyone who shares gossip about the Starfinder Society (Culture), and it respects anyone knowledgeable enough to hold a discussion about its work in cybernetic
and biotech augmentations (Life Science or Medicine).

Special: You get the feeling that Ykris is very open about their Host relationship and showing an interest in, and possibly partaking in a Host-Symbiote relationship for a time will work to influence them

Oda and Royo - Round 2

As Hadir is overwhelmed by the discussion of the Mystical Oda takes their time in writing their points to make, Royo occasionally looking over from the conversation and reading what the Half-Orc has met. Though they don't seem to get onboard with the more physical parts of a mercenaries' career, they seem fascinated by the logistics of running an operation. "Tell me dear, any exotic campaigns - any knowledge found on your trips? I trust you are not the sort to burn or cause wanton destruction?" they ask, the notion clearly horrifying the Ysoki.

I'm happy with Merc, it's a broad enough subject that you can talk about things and definitely not all technology

Patterson and Zo! - Round 3

Disengaging from the impressed Gnome Venture Captain Patterson tries their luck with the Elebrian Media Mogul Zo! As they approach, Zo! spins on their heels with a flair and points at the Human with a snap of their fingers. "Hey my Man! You look like the perfect piece for my new show! That Square Jaw, that luscious hair and bright eyes!" They say with a wide grin, eerie on their skeletal face. They listen intently to the tale, but again something seems to be lacking in the delivery and it doesn't seem to move Zo!

They find it hard to get a read on the Man, but it seems that smooth words is not the way here.

So not enough to impress or small talk i'm afraid, but Diplomacy is not a skill Zo! is influenced by

Hadir and Royo - Round 3

"Hello Young one, please join our circle all minds are welcome here." Royo swiftly introduces Hadir to the gathered intellectuals and they begin their conversation anew, as Hadir brings up their deity they are soon whipped up in theological debate but find themselves overwhelmed by the groups talk and their opinion fall upon deaf ears mid-way through the debate.

Yeah the Dicebots have abandoned thee so far! Taken in account your Theme but still not enough I'm afraid

Rilyn and Iteration - Round 3

When Rilyn firsts tries to connect telepathically with the Android they feel...resistance - as if Iteration has a internal mental shield, when their intentions are realised however they allow the transfer of feeling and imagery - though Rilyn can feel nothing in return, just witness the smile upon their face and eyes closed in pleasure at the scene. Likewise, he seems impervious to her gravitas, instead the Lashunta being caught up in their forceful personality at the closeness between the two.

Iteration moves through her conscious with an ease of a seasoned traveller, merging with the scenes effortlessly, almost as if they had witnessed them along with the young Lashunta despite Rilyn being sure he had not attended the trip.

When they Finish, Iteration opens their eyes with a smile "YOu must simply join me on my Starship sometime - I have something that will truly wow you I am sure..."

Edward and Naiaj - Round 3

With a drive-by tid bit about exotic creatures from the party-pro Rilyn, Edward is able to continue their goal to impress the Gnomish Venture Captain - and seems to succeed! Naiaj actually looks up from their comms device to discuss interesting creatures they once met when they travelled to Triaxus - the Kokogiak a large white furred creature with ten-legs and a ferocious intellect that belies it's beast-like nature.

"Ziggy was not impressed with that! Let me tell you!" she finishes with an almost smile upon the telling of a particularly funny tale about the Exo-Guardian Faction Leader and a surprise Kokogiak.

Kat5e and Ykris - Round 2

The vibrant drink is an - interesting - experience for the Android, there seems to be a slight gritty texture to the liquid, as they notice that the drink contains little crystals with hints of elderberry, cinnamon and smooth liqueur that you can't quite discern. Zo! winks as the Android excuses themselves and moves on to another guest, talking eagerly and waving their arms flamboyantly, the grin stuck on their face.

Ykris and their Half-Elf host greet Kat5e warmly, the half-elf raising their own glass to toast the android. "Ykris indeed, I am glad my fame seems to have preceded me. Yes, CeriCore deals with augments - you are familiar with how they are installed yes? As well as the therapy required afterwards?" they listen to the responses with nods and the odd hum. "Interesting indeed and quite knowledgeable well done."

You get the feeling that Ykris is tiring of 'Work talk' - any further attempts on the biotech line will be harder
