Just as Eri opened the door, she found Granny standing there with a single change of small clothes in one arm, and her other hand raised as if she was about to knock.
"Oh. Pardon me for taking so long Dearie, but I had a hard time finding something suitable to give your little girl. The Gnome running around here has........interesting tastes in clothing."
"I meant no offence, Dearie. I'll be back with some clothing," Granny replied before leaving the chamber.
A curious look crossed Granny's face, "What is.....," noticing the gender, "She?"
Granny was already almost to the door when Eri opened the door and shouted. Although startled, her years serving experience prevented her from dropping the platter on the ground.
"Yes Dearie?"
"Scrambled Dearie, that's the best way to have them."
"The usual savory spiced meats and I managed to acquire some fresh eggs. Sorry no more strawberries this time. They all seemed to have vanished this morning."
"Good morning Dearie, I've brought breakfast." Granny says as she wheels in a cart with two covered dishes.
Granny bowed and took her leave.
Granny nodded. She turned to Eri, "Your favorite seasoned meat, and some yummy dessert."
Opening the door, Granny enters with a covered tray. Looking at the two of you, she smirks, "Well don't you two look in love. I'll just leave this on the table."
After setting the tray down, the old woman looked to Tehanna, "Oh, about that item you wanted, it's on its way."
@ Eri - Just as you're about to doze off, there comes a knock on your door, "Is it alright to enter Dearie?"
Granny got a mischievous grin on her face, "Strawberries and chocolate it is then. I'll be back later with the dessert." The old woman bowed and left the room.
"As you wish Dearie, anything specific?"
Granny got to work making the bed with practiced ease. Despite her age, the woman was quite quick. After the bed was pristine, Granny asked, "Is there anything I can do for the two of you?"
Granny responded, "Oh I understand completely Dearie, and no, I'm not scared of her. But childhood tales of Dark Elves can still spark an initial fear, even if you can easily crush it, it will still crop up from time to time."
She placed the clothes on the bedside table, and the sheets on the bed, "Would you like me to make up the bed then Dearie?"

Granny simply smiled as she wheeled the cart in with some clothes and sheets, "I figured the quicker I retrieved your requested items, the sooner an old woman was no longer in your private business. You've got that glow Dearie, and so does she, you don't need standing in the way of a good tumble."
Once more, there came a knock at your door, "Dearie, may I come in?"
Granny looked over at the Drow lying on the bed in nothing but a towel, a flash of instinctual fear flashed across the old woman's face. She quickly got it under control and respectfully bowed her head. Getting the tray to the table, Granny gathered the clothes, as well as the sheets, and placed them on the cart, "I'll soon return with clothes, a mirror, and sheets." With that, she left the room and closed the door behind her.
Granny stands at the door with cart that smells of good food, "Is this a good time Dearie?"
Granny gave Eri a confused look, "You just mentioned her a moment ago Dearie. Are you sure you're alright?"
*Points to your last post*
"And I'm confident that you will Dearie. Especially with this Tehanna around."
After pouring a large tankard of juice, Granny replied, "Unfortunately Dearie, that path tends to be personal. I can't guide you down it."
While Eri cried with her arms about the old woman, she could feel a loving hand stroke the top of her head. When the girl was able to calm herself, Granny replied, "And those right there are the first steps of your healing."

Putting a soft, aged hand under Eri's chin, "Well, hopefully now you can start spiritually healing."
"I'm sorry to say Dearie that you let out quite the howl last night. Gave your friends a bit of a fright."
Stopping the cart by the table and unloading the large platter, Granny asked, "So, last night, pleasant dream or hellish nightmare?"
There was a knock on your door, but before you could answer to come in, Granny opened the door and rolled in a cart with your morning meal and a large pitcher of juice. "Good morning Dearie. My, you look particularly rested. Hopefully the others look the same after last night."
Nodding to the Sorceress, observation, the old woman turned to the Halfling, "Is that more to your satisfaction Sonny?"
Turning to the Sorceress, "She must be having a bad dream and howled in her sleep. I've been waiting for this to happen. With luck, she can start healing now."
"Poor Dearie is howling in her sleep. It's not a problem for much longer."
Al - Stepping outside your room, you see Eri's servant outside her door.
Granny indicated down the hall with a nod of her head.
Gio - You see the old woman that serves Eri standing in front of the Barbarian's room. She looks at you and gives you a look of 'everything is fine'.
While Eri dove into the cake, Granny rolled the cart out of the room.
Granny giggled, taking the cake from the lower level of the cart and setting it on the table. "All yours Dearie."

Granny smiled, "Well, maybe you should see yourself from her perspective."
Getting up, she asked, "Have you had your fill Dearie?"
"What about that special friend of yours?"
Putting a soft hand on Eri's cheek, "Don't say that Dearie. You're not stupid."
"Thank you Dearie. As far what can you do with it, let me ask you. What could you do with an anchor that doesn't move? What would happen if you placed it in front of a closed door and turned on?"
"It's called an Immovable Rod, you can do until the end of time Dearie, it will not move. To release it, just press the button again. Handy little thing."
A tinge of sadness developed in Granny's eyes, "That belonged to my pirate. A small part of me had hoped he'd just sailed off somewhere and he was still alive," Shaking her head briefly, she continued, "Anyway, I know what it does." Picking up the bar, the old woman held it in front of her, pressed the button and let go. The bar did not fall. "Go ahead, try and move it without pressing the button."
"I can see that. But tell me, where there any sort of............remains of previous adventurers?"
Yes, new toys. Including a flat iron bar you have no idea what it does.
Granny took a seat, "Actually, I'm a little curious. What was it like it in there?"
"Sure Dearie, I will be back shortly." Granny then left the room and returned a couple minutes later with two pitchers.
"It's no trouble Dearie. It's why I'm here. Now which would you like first?"
When you were just about to nod off, Granny returned with a cart of deliciousness. The cart contained plates of meat, a large bowl containing a salad, a platter of biscuits. On the lower level was a small cake. "Here you are Dearie. We just got a shipment of fresh meat. Hope you like it."
Granny picked up a towel and held it up ready to help Eri get dry.
Gathering up the clothes, "Don't worry about it Dearie. I'll have them fixed up in no time. You just relax while I get your meal." Granny then left the room.

About a minute later, Granny showed up, "Oh, poor Dearie. Here, lets get you to your room." With practiced ease, she put one of Eri's arms about her shoulder and helped walk the young woman to her room. And with a little more assistance, get the bloodied clothes off of her.
