The guide also said you could reduce the gold down to 500gp and apply it to a 1st level character, but something about the other benefits not being available until the level played. That was the option I was looking to take.

No day job for Seoni. Is there any limitation to applying the certificate to a PC that was in play while this game was in play?

Also as I understand it, these can't be applied until the PC reaches 7th level?

Infused by Kynrac's magic Seoni tries again with enhanced vigor

escape Artist check: 1d20 + 2 + 18 ⇒ (16) + 2 + 18 = 36 Successfully breaking free with a big thanks to Kynrac, Seoni hastily moves out of the difficult terrain of the tentacles.

fort vs reduce: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13

Unfortunately, Seoni is no sooner free of the groping tentacles than she is reduced to half her size. Luckily her magic is not similarly reduced.

Small but not out, Seoni defensibly cast lighting bolt at three of the foes.

Unfortunately it fails.

But do you have X amount of fame with the old faction and N amount with the new one?

For example I have a PC who of the Osirion faction with 10 Fame points and now has earned 2 fame with Scarab Sage.
So he has 10 fame with Osirion which doesn't exist any longer and 2 fame with Scarab Sage?

I haven't found anywhere that states fame get's transferred to the new faction.

question about grapple

Using scrolls or spells while grappled require a concentration check, yes?

Using potions or wands while grappled doesn't?

Another question that I haven't found an answer to is with the change of factions does your fame transfer to the new faction or does it start accumulating over again? This is mainly to know what the buying limit based on fame is for a character.

Assume the Intimidate is to demoralize . Seoni's DC is 10+level+wis=18 +1 round for every 5 over. So Seoni is shaken (-2) for 2 rounds?

Since we don't know where to look first, we can start gathering information at the shops where we would find the essence of baobab sapling root and/or the black diamond. From there we may find other places to investigate. Anyone know where we can find the root?"
