Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Oh, and feel free to take a look at Senthiri's profile for a nice format.

Though I don't need your background stories there if you've given them to me previously.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

"Magic freak, huh?" Senthiri's hand glows briefly. The light passes to his sword, then disappears. Senthiri takes a quick step and pulls some powdered iron from one of the pouches at his side. He chants while moving his hand in very measured, precise movements. Suddenly Senthiri grows to nearly 12 feet in height.

DM:

Actions:Swift action-use one point from Arcane pool to add +1 enhancement to my longsword for 1 minute; 5-foot step to h4; full round action:Cast enlarge person on myself, duration, 1 minute.
New Stats:

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

It's here. Senthiri holds up the amulet. His eyebrows knit together in puzzlement, and so is everything else. Nothing's missing. Why would they kill me if not to get something? Something doesn't add up quite right.

Senthiri examines the amulet closer before shoving it in his pouch.

perception:
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28 Trying to see if it is in fact the correct amulet.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Senthiri goes immediately to where he had hidden the amulet to see if it's still there. After he looks there, he begins looking around to see what's been taken.

perception:
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Senthiri looks at Errik and proclaims in argot, "The amulet!"

Then he turns back to the warden. There was something very important in my house we were going back for. If you don't mind, we must hurry now to make sure it's still there. Senthiri nods and motions for the other two to continue on their way.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Hmmm . . . dead huh? Where are . . . our bodies now? I hope they didn't go anywhere important.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Senthiri pauses halfway up the stairs. Probably a good idea. Let's go.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

I think I have it back home. I didn't really think it would do us any good here, but I'll go get it. Senthiri gets up and heads for the entrance of the tomb. I'll be back as soon as I can.

I'm going to hustle. Just didn't seem plausible that I'd be carrying it with me.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

You know, I think I might . . .

Last thing that happened in the other campaign was Varro gave me the amulet. Do I still have it?

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Senthiri only catches the last piece of what Errik said. The black sun? Well, that's all we need. Senthiri sneers. Their the last thing I remember from . . . He left the last part unspoken.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

That's a good idea. Let 'im know what's happened.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

It turns out the foreman was not the foreman. He and another one turned into some monsters and attacked us. Senthiri points quickly to the two deflated skins We think one of them had been masquerading as Fawni at some point. After that, well Errik found this Senthiri waves his hand towards the markings on the floor, and got us sidetracked while he studies it. You know how those knowledgeable types are. Senthiri gives the worker a knowing wink.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

How visible is the writing in the floor? Is Errik known fairly wide as one who likes to study this kind of thing? Do I know anything about this Warden?(such as what a warden is, what he does, who he is)

I'll do it. Senthiri says with a sigh. Senthiri begins the long walk up the stairs. His mind races as he tries to figure out where to start.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Senthiri stops. He looks around and sees the deflated skins and all the blood around about. He looks at his companions and speaks quielty, Never thought I'd say this, but the only thing I can think of is the truth at this point. It's too crazy to not be true. We'll just have to keep some of it to ourselves. He then raises his eyebrows in question to the others, asking if they agreed.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

I've been hurt a little, but it's little more than a bruise.Senthiri says, looking himself over.

As Errik finds the stone, Senthiri walks over and begins examining it as well. He presses his fingers into the stone and wonders.

Knowledge(Arcana):
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (16) + 11 = 27

Hmm. . . phantasmal. I've still got this one that that thing gave us. Senthiri holds up the scroll of Dispel Magic and points in the direction of what used to be a gnome. But that one is still designed to target the user. I don't think there's any way around that . . .

Spellcraft?:
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24 I don't think there's any way around that, but I figure I should check. If Knowledge Arcana's more appropriate feel free to make the roll for me.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

As the last monster deflates Senthiri takes a look around, making sure they are entirely out of danger.

Perception:

1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28

Werend:

Thank you my friend. You fought well.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Light floods in around Senthiri. He smiles mockingly at the foreman. As the foreman yells, Senthiri takes his chance to strike. He swings hard at the foreman. Then a look of concentration crosses Senthiri's face and he begins to cast a spell. He takes another swing at the foreman, this time, Werend crackles with electricity.

Actions:
Full round: Spell Combat. Attack, using power attack. Then spend another Arcane point to recall Shocking Grasp using “Spell Recall.” Then cast it, using Werend to deliver the spell through Spell Strike.

Attack roll: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18
Damage: 1d8 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 151d6 ⇒ 2
Concentration Check: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (17) + 12 = 29
Attack roll: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23+3 more if wearing or wielding metal.
Damage: 1d8 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 141d6 ⇒ 25d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 2, 5, 4) = 20
Edit:Now that I look at it after it's been posted, that might just be overkill . . . whoops.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Senthiri watches the "gnome" move down the stairs towards him and the foreman take a step back before everything goes dark.
He curses under his breath, but only hesitates a moment. He steps forward again towards where he last saw the foreman. He grabs Werend with both hands and swings with all the power he can.

Rolls:
5' step to Q18. Power attack against where I last saw the foreman (R17).

Attack: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26
Damage: 1d8 + 12 ⇒ (8) + 12 = 201d6 ⇒ 4How do you want me to do the miss chance

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Not 100% sure, but if the protognome was prone, shouldn't it have cost a move to get up and a move to move leaving it no action to attack with? Just making sure there.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Senthiri laughs wildly as the no-longer-gnome falls on the stairs. He begins casting a spell, his face a picture of concentration as he strives to keep his guard up as well. But nothing happens, and Senthiri grits his teeth. He steps forward with a quick motion and attacks the foreman.

Spoiler:
Full-round action: Spell Combat, Cast "Shield" defensively. Take a 5' step to 019. Attack.
Concentration: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14
Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26(-2 penalty for Spell combat, +2 for Bull's Strength)
Damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 111d6 ⇒ 3

Edit:Woohoo! Critical threat.
Crit Check: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

As Senthiri comes to a stop at Errik's feet, Senthiri stands. He turns toward what used to be a gnome, but looks down at the stairs beneath his feet. Senthiri grits his teeth. He begins to cast a spell, pulling some fine bull hairs from the pouch at his side. As the spell ends Senthiri's muscles begin to bulge. Senthiri stares up at the gnome, a hard look in his eye.

Aquan:
"Well that tickled. But is that all you can really do? Shove people around? I'd like to see you try to actually hit me."

Actions:

Move action:Stand up
Standard Action:Cast "Bull's Strength" on myself.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Acrobatics:
1d20 ⇒ 5

Senthiri tries to catch his footing as he's pushed backwards, but misses a step and tumbles down the stairs.

Damage:
1d6 ⇒ 3

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Werend:
Looks like you'll get your chance to fight now old friend.

Senthiri moves forward pulling Werend out of his sheath as he does. The ringing of the sword echoes through the tomb in time with Senthiri's voice, "Errik, they want to take you alive. Use it against them." Werend glows for a moment before flames burst outward, surrounding him. The firelight glints off his edges, making them appear sharper than ever.

As Senthiri steps up next to the gnome, he begins casting a spell--the movements and words coming easily. Just as he finishes, he gives a mighty swing with Werend, who now crackles with electricity as well.

Rolls, etc.:

Move action:Draw Werend in conjunction with moving to O26
Swift action:Spend an Arcane point to add flaming and keen to Werend
Standard action:Cast "Shocking Grasp" while using spellstrike. Use Werend to deliver the spell.
Attack roll: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18 +3 more if he is wearing metal armor or wielding a metal weapon.
Damage:
Melee Attack: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Flaming: 1d6 ⇒ 2
Shocking Grasp: 5d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 1, 5, 3) = 19

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Senthiri watches as Braxton threatens the gnome. He has his hand on his sword before he realizes it, though the foreman stops the fight. As the foerman begins to explain Senthiri smiles. Though it doesn't seem to be in response to anything the foreman says.

To Werend:
Don't worry old friend, I think it won't be long before we put you to some use.

As the gnome points them into the tomb, Senthiri eyes him carefully. On a hunch he speaks Argot to the Gnome, "Thanks." and looks for any sign of recognition as he steps past.

Sense Motive:

1d20 ⇒ 13

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Senthiri stood there for a moment. As Errik and Braxton began examining this, and that Senthiri simply goggled. "I thought they were the bad guys? Senthiri said in Argot. What happened?

Finally after a moment or two, Senthiri began to look around the area. He began looking at the surrounding area to see if there were anything unusual in the area.

Rolls:

survival for footprints 1d20 ⇒ 1
perception1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Senthiri stops in the trees when he sees the crowd surrounding the tomb. He looks around at all the people and tries to see why they're all there.

Perception:
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20

As he looks Senthiri whispersto Errik,--slipping into Argot with more ease than before--"Were these people here before?"

At the time being, any time I talk to Errik or Braxton, I'm sticking with Argot. Just so I don't have to say it every post.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

"It's a gamble, but it's one I'm willing to bet on. Senthiri leans out the door. After a little bit, he turns back to Braxton, "I think Errik's far enough along that we can get going." He steps out and starts strolling towards the forest.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

I'm ready.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Senthiri smiles wide. Well then, let's be on our way. He begins to set down the scroll, but pauses for a moment, and then puts it in his own pack.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Perception:
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28

Senthiri looks up at the sound of the door. When Errik arrives, he smiles wide. Then says, Hello my friend, after Braxton's whispered concerns, Senthiri stops then switches to Argot, That vile creature that passes for a human named Fawning is swindling you. This scroll targets the user. Senthiri holds up the scroll briefly and looks to see that he was understood.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

As soon as Fawni is out of hearing Senthiri speaks quietly to Braxton. The Argot words coming with the difficulty of one who's out of practice.I knew I didn't like her. It was obvious she was evil from the moment I met her.

"Hmm... Let me see." Senthiri looks at the scroll studying it.

Knowledge (Arcana):
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Hello Fawni, Senthiri says through gritted teeth.

Werend:
What a simpering fool she is. Got any new jokes about her? I could use some about now.

I don't know if you noticed, but Errik's stuff is all gone. All he left were these notes. Do you know anything about where he went? He could be in trouble, and as much as your deplore my investments in pastimes that depend on speculation, and I abhor your puerile estimations of existence, he may need our help. Senthiri flashes an ingratiating smile and waits.

I went with the assumption, as she seems the type that she has made her detest of his gambling known. Therefore, Senthiri likes to use big words around her, as she also seems the type to not understand them. I hope that works.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Sorry. It'll be good to get recruitment up. Get a few more players.

Senthiri looks up from the notes. Back here Fawni, in the office. he shouts.

As he waits for Fawni to join them, Senthiri turns to Braxton. I don't know what's going on. It doesn't seem like anyone broke in, I can't see anything spooking Errik and for funding issues, I think we would've known. Something else happened, and I'm not sure if I want to know what.

Senthiri shivers. As he does his hand moves to rest on his sword.

Werend:
What do you think Werend? Got any ideas?

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Senthiri's brows furrow as he enters the storage area. "Hello Braxton." Senthiri calls back "It appears that Errik may have lost more than he gained there." Senthiri goes back to the front door and inspects the lock on the door.

DM:
Perception:1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
I'm looking to see if it's been forced open, or broken or something.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

DM:
I'll take Bluff and Perception.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

"Errik?" Senthiri's voice booms out through the house. "You missed a great game last night. I think I came home with another 200 gold."

Senthiri walks through the house, but looking for Errik, but can't seem to find him.

"Now where could he be? Senthiri muses to himslef. Then he shrugs and heads back to the office. "Maybe he left something there for me. He says smiling.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Senthiri took his time getting ready for the day. He had been out late, but had come home with his purse weighing significantly more than it had before.

He spent some time lounging around, but could not quite sit still. Finally, he stopped and spoke to his sword, "Well Werend, I'd say it's time to visit Errik. What do you think?" Without waiting for a response, Senthiri grabbed the spare key and was out the door.

I think I forgot to tell you that I posted Werend's background, stats, etc. on my profile.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

2d10 ⇒ (4, 8) = 12*100=1200

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Oh, yeah, I should probably also roll my health.
3d8 + 7 ⇒ (3, 5, 6) + 7 = 21(+3 for con modifier, +2 for 2 levels taking the extra hp, 1 level I took skill points, +2 for toughness)

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Well, I'm totally set. I was a professional gambler. I also learned to tell stories and got myself hired occasionally (very occasionally) as the entertainment in a tavern or inn. When are we looking at starting?

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Yes indeed.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Well, I'm all set. Now lets hope everyone else gets the link too.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

I'm in. Nice set up by the way. The only question for you is, I had bladebound archtype, which at 3rd would make my sword an advancing, intelligent weapon. Are you still good with that? Or do you need me to change it. Raging Bull had me make up a background and personality for him that I could give to you for running him.

I'm creating a character now. Should have one up in the next day or two.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Bump

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Is there anything we can do to help get this game going? Are you just to busy right now, is there something we can do to help take pressure off?

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

170 g for my share of the wand. Scrolls of color spray, jump, magic missile and silent image 125 g. Total 295g

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Thank you, Varro.

Senthiri takes the amulet from Varro, then, as he puts it in his pouch, starts to walk to the shop nearest the black sun's. He stops there looking at a few of the wares and engages in idle conversation with the shopkeepers, but he mostly listens to those at the next shop over.

Perception:

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
Sorry, thought I posted this earlier

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

I believe that leaves the remainder to me. Senthiri hands Errik 170 gold. That should cover it. He then pays for his scrolls.

After the transactions are complete, Senthiri turns to Varro, smiling Do you have that disk that was given to us by our friends at the docks? I think I might like to visit their shop. See their wares.

Male Human Magus (Bladebound) 5

Ah, yes. This is indeed the place to shop.

Diplomacy Aid:

1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

And I am looking for some scrolls as well. Namely, color spray, magic missile, jump and silent image.
