Euchrid |

"Oh... I believe we plan to run some errands, maybe fight some crime if there is time before lunch... Again, my thanks Stoogie." and Euchrid turns to return to the room, already planning in his head the adjustments he will make to keep his pack balanced.

Errik |

Errik chuckles at Eucrid "I think a stroll along the docks is all I had planned. We'll be sure to keep this quiet, thank you.
Errik moves back upstairs and packs all his things ready for the day.

Varro the Haruspex |

Stoogie my fine fellow, I am Varro. May I peruse your stock of magical writings? And would you happen to have a Wand of Healing?"
Total 67gp, 5sp after discount for the scrolls... and 112gp, 5sp from each of us if there is a fully charged wand available.

Senthiri |

Well, these all look very nice. Unfortunately, I'm very happy with my sword as it is, and can't afford the weight of any of these armors. But I will definitely come back if I need any of these. By the way, do you know anyone who deals in magical scrolls and wands around here?

![]() |

Hmmm. A wand of healing you say? I'm afraid not. No wands or scrolls, just some weapons and armors with enchantments. Can point you at a good friend of mine tough. Smugglers know smugglers, right? You'll need to say the password to him tough. Any of you fluent in Argot? If you do, go to Leviat's house in the city centre. It's just across the central well, you can't miss it. He has a red door, almost the only one in the entire city. Tell him you'd like to paint the door, in Argot, and he'll lead you to an underground hall. He keeps market there every... oh! Today's a market day.

Varro the Haruspex |

"Then we shall go and see a man about painting a door. Indeed Euchrid. You, Errik, Senthiri, and I are versed in the mystical arts and find these wares a little bare for our tastes, no?"
Varro shoulders his pack then allows Bonetapper a perch upon his hand and awaits the groups departure near the door.
"Thank you for your hospitality Stoogie."

Errik |

Errik comes back down stairs with his gear already to go. "Hmm," He says as he hears his name mentioned. "A little bare perhaps, but nothing to be sniffed at. What's the plan? Where are we off to?"

Euchrid |

Euchrid leaves most of his gear in the room and joins them... "We are off to take a look at what one of Stoogie's colleagues has in the.. looks both ways and whispers ".. arcane department" he then shows them the way to the city center.

Errik |

"Your door is a very strange color my friend," says Errik and then switching to Argot mid sentence. "Vvê Kùn vviś kùler ùre pôrta!"

![]() |

You hear no reply, but the door opens. When you enter, you see a dark small room without furniture. It has two doors right in front of you, and before you stands a man, dressed in ancient Valesmen fashion. So old it's quite funny to wear these clothes nowadays, really. He is observing you when you come in and urges you to close the door quickly. When you all come in, he asks you another question.
Du sagde ordene. Men hvem gav dig dem?

Errik |

Seeing no reason not to Errik answers truthfully "Vi bor på Hajer Tanden kroen, hjalp vi værten, Stoogie ud af en binde. Han fortalte os adgangssætningen."

Varro the Haruspex |

Bonetapper flaps his wings at the sight of the outlandishly dressed man, "Ar gyfer pwy mae'r corff cerdded? Nid wyf wedi gweld wisg megis yr un yn y degawdau!"
Varro scowls at the words... "Now brother that is not very friendly. Forgive my companion, his sense of humor is quite macabre."

The more you approach the end of the stairs, which is indeed very long, the more you hear the trusted buzz-like noise of a market. The place is a large hall, a bazaar with the size of a district. You see merchants and visitors haggling about prices, there must be at least a hundred in this great hall. You also notice several stairs and exits, clearly the entrance in Leviat's house is not the only one.
Feel free to make skill checks to know more about the area. You have to come up with what looks logic to you tough.

Euchrid |

Euchrid scans the market trying to decipher the layout and how to go about browsing the wares. Quite used to watching others for cues of how to act... he tries to fit in while looking for where he might buy his desired scrolls.

Varro the Haruspex |

"By all the fates! This place is enormous." Varro gapes at the size of the hidden market. "Perhaps we should seek out a guide to show us the best dealers? I'm sure there's a bright lad or lass that can direct us to where we need to go."
Diplomacy 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27

Errik |

Errik stops in his tracks staring out over this huge underground market. His mouth hangs open a little and he nods slowly in agreement with what Liam says.
"What did we want again? He asks absentmindedly as his thoughts catch up with his body.

Errik |

"Good advice. Wow the Bazaar of Globeto... I've heard tales of its size but I always thought they were exaggerated. We should be able to find whatever we need here."
Errik slowly recovers from his awe and has a look around at the nearby stalls.

Varro the Haruspex |

"Well hello beautiful. My friends and I are seeking purveyors of mystical goods. If you would be so kind as to guide us to the more reputable shops I would make it quite worth your while... and if there's time maybe share a drink or two" Varro winks slyly to his companions and offers the young lady his arm.

Euchrid |

Every cautionary tale and exaggerated anecdote of dealing with "these types" comes to Euchrid's mind ".... pickpockets .. hmm swipe something when they bump into you" he starts practicing a quick "go-for-the-wrists!" maneuver to prepare for when someone bumps into him. He stops to watch the woman dangerously close to Varro, and can only hope Varro is as prepared as he is.
"Oh yes... a guide. Excellent."

![]() |

The lady grabs Varro's arm.
"Stay close, handsome. I'll lead you to the best shop around here: my mother's collection!"
She pulls Varro to a shop at the side of the bazaar. At a first glance, it doesn't seem like much. On a second look tough, it seems to hold a large collection of tomes, wands and scrolls. An old haglike lady stands up.
"Ah Lilly, what have you brought with you this time? What can it be for you, sir?"

Errik |

Errik rubs his ribs and looks around at Senthiri's quiet words.
"Hopefully we won't be noticed in this crowd, but we should keep an eye out just in case." he whispers back.
He steps forward and addresses the woman. "And a wand capable of healing wounds wouldn't go astray, My my this looks like a fine collection of goods. I'm glad we ran into this young lady or we may have wasted all day looking around this bazaar and missed the finest store in the market!"

Varro the Haruspex |

"Yes your lovely daughter was instrumental in aiding our search for the finest wares in all the market! I am looking for scrolls of comprehend languages, detect secret doors, and obscuring mist. A mere pittance for such a well stocked shop no doubt."

![]() |

The old lady mutters a bit.
Don't go flattering on me boy. Prices are fixed, competition is hard here in the bazaar lately! But it's still your lucky day I think, got all the things you need. Lilly! Open the case above the Mistleberry extracts and give these gentlemen the scrolls they need!
Help me a bit... What are you using perception on? The shop or the surroundings? Or both? If you use it actively, do specify on what. When I need one I ask or I make one for you. Thanks!

Euchrid |

"For what reason do you say competition is hard lately, old woman? ... and I do hope these scrolls do not reek of Mistleberry." Euchrid turns his back to as much of the crowd as possible, hunching over, as he reaches through a few layers of clothing to pull his coin purse from its hidden location.

Varro the Haruspex |

"Madam my mother would come down from the heavens to box my ears if I were not courteous to a lady." Varro says with a sincere smile as he peruses the shelves of the shop.
Bonetappers perception is always looking for threats or opportunities for mischief!

Errik |

"Is this the curatiive wand? Errik asks, his voice dropping into a steady business tone as he picks up the finely carved wand from among the scrolls, he casts detect magic and inspects it for around half a minute to make sure its what the group needs. If it checks out Errik reaches inside his shirt and pulls out a coin purse. He counts out 175 gp as his share of the curative wand.
